An elegant 1 bed apartment on Broughton Street in Edinburgh's city centre, steps away from Old Town and New Town. The flat is situated at the back of the building - off street so it's quiet!

Please note the flat is on the 2nd floor with no lift/elevator.

Airport Airlink tram stop at the top of the street - 1 minute walk.
Bus station 2 minutes walk.
Waverley train station 10 minutes walk.

THE SPACE.....
The apartment is only moments away from the Old Town, New Town and and Train Stations (5 mins walk) The location couldn't be better for arrivals from the Edinburgh airport. The airlink tram to the airport is only at the end of the road on York Place.
The are lots of fabulous bars and restaurants on your doorstep and all the hustle and bustle of the Royal Mile and its shops, restaurants and bagpipes are around 5-10 minutes walk away

The hideaway is a 1 bed, second floor apartment which has been recently renovated. The main living area is very spacious and light with a feature fireplace (non working) and a sunny quiet outlook . The kitchen is separate and all kitchen facilities are available - fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob etc
There is a separate bedroom with double bed, another sunny and quiet aspect and lots of storage throughout
There is a large bathroom with bath, shower and hand basin. The WC is separate.

Please note we have a £10 cleaning fee - please leave this on the table when you depart

Other essentials to make your city break perfect include:
Flat screen TV, WIFI, radio, fluffy towels, hairdryer and toiletries, umbrella(!) and kitchen supplies. If there is anything else we can help with from restaurant recommendations to arranging a bottle of champers for your arrival, then please just ask!

Due to the central location, you are in the heart of the Edinburgh, so public transport is not really required, however you are minutes away from a variety of routes all over the city.
The Train and Tram stations are approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Airport bus stop is approximately 10 minutes walk also.
Taxi fares to and from the airport are approx £25

Parking Options
There is no parking with this property and on street parking has a maximum stay of 4 hours. Nearby car parks and multistoreys are:

Omni Centre (Greenside)

FYI its free parking everywhere in Edinburgh on a Sunday (except double yellows)

Grant's place was everything we were looking for & more! Even before we arrived, he communicated with us very clearly and was direct. Check in process was easy & it was a very short walk from the airport tram which made everything so much easier! The location was wonderful, in mist of everything, many coffee shops near by, many pubs within walking distance, a short walk away from the castle & downtown area, it was just perfect. We also appreciated his washing machine as this was our last stop to our trip. I will definitely book his place again when in Edinburgh! Thank you so much, Grant!

Stayed at Grants for four nights although we never met Grant he gave us perfect instructions for check in and all the other instructions needed were clearly provided in the apartment. The place is really well located and an easy walk to the main attractions and the street itself has fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. When we return to Edinburgh we will definitely try and stay with Grant again.

The flat is really big and full of light. It looks exactly as the it is shown in the photos. Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. Flat is very centrally located. Within 10-20 minutes walk from all main attractions. Plenty of grocery stores nearby. Be prepared to climb two flights of stairs up the spiral staircase to get to the flat. It looks very charming though might be an issue for some people. Loved staying there. Would like to come back next time I'm in Edinburgh.

This was a cute apartment in a great location. There was lots of places to eat and shop around and it was an easy walk everywhere we wanted to go! Would recommend.

Stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Everything was clean, neat and tidy and the host communicated really well with us about everything. There were some things for breakfast and a couple of Scottish beers for us to try which was really nice! Area is amazing for all tastes. Coffee shops, vegan restaurants, shops, bars...and it's just enough off the main roads to have some peace and quiet too if you want it. Highly recommend.
