“Acacia 111” renovated apartment/studio on the 1st floor with spacious terrace. Ideal accommodation for 2 adults + 2 children. Bright living room, open kitchen (4 ceramic hobs), shower room with sink/toilet, sofa bed (1.60/200) + built-in bed (1.40/200).
Smart tv, Wi-Fi, toaster, electric coffee maker (Senseo), electric kettle, SodaStream, combined microwave, fridge with built-in mini-freezer, dishes and cooking utensils, iron and ironing board (nearby), hair dryer.
Available: baby cot/baby chair/baby bath, child chair (on request).
Towels and bed linen provided.
Electric oil bath heater.

With the neighboring municipality of Wenduine and the villages of Klemskerke and Vlissegem, De Haan mainly attracts tourists who want to relax. The fact that there are no groups of apartment complexes along the De Haan coast gives the village a unique character. You'll love peace and beauty over and over again. So you won't be surprised that Albert Eleye was spending his summers there.

In many places, De Haan is always the same as when it was founded a century ago between the dunes: stylish villas in Jugendstil and Art Deco, prestigious hotels, lots of greenery - even the tram stop on the coast can be found in its original state. Almost all the buildings of this beautiful village date from the Belle Époque. The typical Anglo-Norman style with red roofs, decorated balconies, turrets, and half-timbered houses offer not only the distinctive appearance, but also a friendly atmosphere in the center of the village.

De Haan is proud of its beach; the longest beach on the Flemish coast! The beach is quite quiet, a sandy beach of 12 kilometers and about 50 to 80 meters wide. To the west, on the border with Bredene, you will find the only nudist beach on the Flemish coast. In summer, the beach is pleasantly occupied, but not too busy. De Haan is also a great destination at the beginning and end of the season to enjoy the wind along the coast!

Quiet and secure holiday park in a green environment within a 15-minute walk to the sea.. Due to its enclosed space as well as its play areas, it is perfectly suited for children. Only 10km from Ostend and Blankenberge and 20km from the “Venice ” of the north. Beautiful walks or bikes guaranteed. In the immediate vicinity, you can discover some very nice picturesque polder villages.
Or why not a day in London from the port of Ostend?
