This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.

Our special place is located in the heart of Central Alberta, Canada. Built in 1908, the large brick Edwardian era home has extensive architectural detailing and elegant finishing. This home hosted Prime Minister Sir Wilfred Laurier in 1910. Situated on a large, mature corner lot near the most picturesque parks in the area. Step back in time, while enjoying modern day luxury. This home is pure historical elegance. We welcome you to experience The Ellis House.

The space
Breathtaking entry with it's original finishing, doors, fireplaces with original decorative oak mantles, crown moldings, leaded glass windows, maple floors and other little details that are hard to find today or lost forever. Expansive mature yard with original fence that wraps around property. The home is furnished with irreplaceable antiques and curated specifically with unique pieces to draw the old world into the new.

The house has four levels, including a basement and attic, as well as extensive yard for outdoor enjoyment.

The main floor consists of a grand entry, formal room, study, grand dining room, small dining area, kitchen, full bathroom and a three season patio.

The second floor hosts four bedrooms. Two expansive king bedrooms, one queen bedroom and a full bedroom. With walk-in closets and a grand wardrobe. One large shared bathroom with a clawfoot tub. An open upper deck is accessible from the second floor hall and bedroom.

The third floor is an open attic, perfect for group activities and small gatherings.

The basement is equip with games area and entertainment room, a large king bedroom, steam shower bathroom, full laundry area.

Guest access
Guests will be able to access all the house areas, except for the storage room and linen closets. Garage access is optional.

The house has a substantial number of stairs. Limited free street parking is available, please let us know if you require additional parking space.
