Moose Cabin is a cozy retreat overlooking Roserim Lake, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Set on a working farm with sheep, goats, chickens, and friendly wildlife, guests can enjoy sunsets and cozy evenings by the fire, and explore nearby waterfalls, sandy beaches, and endless outdoor adventures. Whether you're looking for a quiet couples retreat, a family getaway, or a relaxing escape from the city, Moose Cabin offers a warm and welcoming space to reconnect with nature.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 3 adults or a family of 4 with small children. Sleeping arrangements include:
• 1 double bed
• 1 single bed
• 1 pull-out single couch

Inside, you’ll find all the basics covered: fully supplied bedding, essential kitchen utensils (including pots and pans), and a charming wood-burning fireplace to keep you warm on cooler nights. A well-stocked wood shed, conveniently located by the entrance, ensures you’re always ready for a cozy fire.

Step outside onto the deck, furnished with chairs, where you can unwind and take in the sunset or stargaze on clear nights. The outdoor fire pit, complete with an additional picnic table, makes for memorable evenings spent roasting marshmallows under the stars.

The cabin doesn’t have a shower, but there is an outdoor passively heated shower 50 ft from the cabin that you can use. Expect an experience.

Our water comes from a deep well and passes through a UV sanitization and charcoal filtration system. Interior Health requires us to label the water as “Non-Potable” because it is not a chlorinated municipal-style water system. Many rural properties in the area operate similarly. Guests who prefer treated municipal water or who have sensitivities are encouraged to bring their own drinking water.

Guest access
Enjoy free parking on-site and full access to the cabin, farmland, trails, and beautiful Roserim Lake. In the winter, explore the property with activities like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding, skating, and ice fishing—all while taking in the stunning scenery.

To maintain the tranquility of this peaceful retreat, we kindly ask that off-road vehicles not be used within the property boundaries. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities during your stay. Please note that Moose Cabin is located on an active lakeside farm, and farm environments naturally come with certain inherent risks. By booking your stay, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted all additional house rules, including the liability waiver outlined in the listing.

As a working farm, you can expect to hear authentic country sounds throughout the day and evening, including roosters crowing, livestock guardian dogs barking, sheep and goats baaing, and other typical farm activity. For many guests, these sounds are part of the peaceful and unique rural experience.

Guests are welcome to explore designated farm areas and participate in farm-related activities if available during their stay, though participation is completely optional. If you plan to visit the barn or farm areas, we recommend bringing rubber boots or appropriate outdoor footwear.

We are located on 255 beautiful acres of land surrounded by mountains, trees which are teeming with wildlife. You can see deer, wolf, fox, coyote, moose and bears. We encourage you to always hike in pairs. On and off the property there are many hiking trails to enjoy. Within a 15 minute drive you can access the popular easy, short trails to Mahood, Canim and Deception Falls. Each waterfall is less than a 30 minute walk from the roadway and won’t disappoint.
