The space
Rustic simplicity, the converted Tobacco Barn that dates back to the 1800's, sits on 15 secluded acres in one of the most beautiful areas of Litchfield County, in Roxbury. The drive alone in this picturesque area becomes a feast for your eyes -- and allows you to relish in the unwinding.

The 2800 square foot converted tobacco barn creates a warm backdrop for a family, a couple's country escape, or an individual's private retreat . The large open concept layout of the ground floor is accented by the cathedral floor to ceiling stone fireplace that sits in the middle of the room -- open on two sides -- both the dining area and the living room area. Original wide plank wood flooring -- in white -- throughout the house.

The open floor plan of the upper level bedrooms embraces the glory of the wooden beams of the barn architecture and allows you to revel in the star light or the pitter patter of the rain against the overhead skylight. Two master bedrooms upstairs are An additional upstairs bedroom is private, as well as the private bedroom on the lower level -- both have Queen sized beds.

*While the property sleeps 8, the house experience is designed for 6 guests for reasons that are standard for a country barn (well water & maintenance). This house is not a McMansion built for a giant footprint. Exceptions can be made for additional guests upon review and with additional fee of $50/person. Max occupancy is 8 guests.
