Our 3 bedroom/2 bathroom Cape Cod style home is situated on a beautiful lot in the heart of Stratford. This home features an open living space including: A living room and reading nook, antique furnished dining room and full kitchen.

The space

Classic Cape Cod style house with full open concept living room and kitchen on the ground floor. It's an excellent space for families, couples of all ages, and groups of friends. This three bedroom home has two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has its own ensuite washroom. The wrap around balcony/verandah is perfect for enjoying a couple glasses of wine while using the Weber Genesis BBQ in the shade of Poplar, Chestnut and Maple trees. Across our properties, you'll have full access to 5 herb gardens across our properties. (We own the property next door also).

The house has a great foliage view and the spires of the St Dunstan Basilica. There is a full kitchen with appliances for those who love to cook and bake. All our kitchen appliances are brand new and you will have access to the 5 herb gardens with 15+ herbs varieties growing and a small vegetable garden across the 1.2 acres of our land.

To ensure the comfort and managing all guest experiences, we no longer allow pets of any kind within the house.

Guest access

Wraparound driveway can easily accommodate 4 parked vehicles. You also have 24 hr check in access, as well as unfettered access to the grounds and second story of the house. There is laundry available and located on the main level.

Interaction with guests

Guests will be provided with our contact information should it be needed throughout your stay. You can interact with us as much or as little as you would like.

Other things to note

All within 3-5 minute drive from the house:
- Restaurants, coffee shop, post office, liquor store, pharmacy, gas station, butcher, and more!
- A little further and you will find a farmers market, downtown Charlottetown and more.

Our pricing is based on the number of guests at the time of booking. Please be sure to accurately inform us of how many people are staying in our home. We are very understanding that plans change. If the number of guests is different from your initial booking, simply let us know prior to checking in (or on the day of your arrival) so that we can modify the reservation. We appreciate your honesty and cooperation with this rule.

NO SMOKING! Smoking anything is absolutely forbidden in the home. Any trace of smoking in the house will result in a claim for your ENTIRE security deposit. Smoking outside and leaving cigarette butts or wrapping papers will result in a $200 cleaning claim. While we're lenient with noise rules, we ask that you respect our neighbors and the tenants down below.

Pets are NOT allowed. Guests who leave the property with any traces of pets/dander/damage will immediately forfeit the entire security deposit.

The house can accommodate 6 people comfortably in the high season. If you're bringing extra guests in excess of this, please let us know so that we can understand and meet your expectations. In the OFF-SEASON, additional guests over 2 guests are allowed at an additional fee if disclosed prior to checking in.

A popular pastime for many new visitors to PEI is cooking Lobster/Bar Clams/Oysters/Quahogs. PEI has an abundance of these seafood treasures. Because of this, we provide an outdoor propane cooker that includes a large aluminum pot and strainer. This allows for the convenience of cooking seafood without having the seafood smell and heat inside the home. We ask that when cooking these types of seafood, that it be done outside on the propane cooker to avoid unpleasant smells for the next guest.

Additionally, if you choose to use the following
- Using our Lobster cooker ... Not a problem, but you are responsible for cleaning all components of the Lobster cooker (pot, lid, strainer and burner)
- Using our BBQ, you are responsible for scraping and removing all surface meat off the grill.

These are extra and "zero cost to you" amenities - we provide these to add to your enjoyment of the properties and to create a memorable stay but not following the cleaning guidelines for these will result in an additional cleaning fee.

Parties are not allowed, unless they are EXPRESSLY discussed and approved by us.

Thanks to Rishi & Diane for this great stay. I believe the photos don't quite do this cute spot the justice it deserves. It is a quaint house that makes you feel very comfortable and at home immediately. It was very clean and well decorated. House is fully furnished with every possible amenity offered. The hosts are extremely friendly and provided advice on where to visit, and they were available if you needed any assistance. Very specific instructions were provided which made check in seamless. Good location too, about a 5 min drive to Charlottetown and was an easy place to make day trips out of. Thanks for one of our best air bnb experiences, it gave us a nice taste of PEI life!

Wonderful place to stay. Really appreciated the communication - prompt, clear and helpful. House was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, quiet neighbourhood but just a very short drive to the centre of Charlottetown. Will definitely plan on staying here the next time we are in the area.

We are a travelling family of 3 who live to travel, laugh and have fun. Rishi's country count is 99 and Diane's is about 35 will spend her life trying to catch up while Mitchell has a running start at 10 countries before 3 ;)

All Canadian born, Rishi grew up in Trinidad and eventually returned to Montreal to attend McGill. Diane grew up in Toronto and went to UNB Fredericton which is when she fell in love with the Maritimes and Mitchell is growing up in Stratford, PEI with all the amazing parks, beaches and seafood ... all while taking over the dance floor at weddings at 2 1/2 years old!

We had a destination wedding in Antigua, Guatemala which was followed by a weekend in PEI for some downtime. It was that trip we fell in love with, and purchased our home there ... so yes ... a getaway weekend ended up with us buying a cottage there.
