Bright and sunny room in Penthouse condo of Alexandria. Enjoy a queen bed and small office area while relaxing in a gorgeous park-like setting of Parkfairfax steps from Shirlington.
Welcome to Washington, DC! Your private bedroom in a gorgeous penthouse condo is just the place to relax after a busy day of sight-seeing, business meetings, or whatever activity brings you to the area. I am a science teacher recently returned from a year sabbatical traveling internationally. I hope to share my home and allow others to fall in love with all that DC and Alexandria have to offer.
Located steps from Shirlington Village, this room is convenient to shopping, restaurants, night-life, and the District. The condo is adjacent to the W&OD and Four Mile Run Trails which run along the Potomac River south toward Mount Vernon or north toward Georgetown.
The room has a queen sized bed, nightstand, dresser, bookshelf, desk and chair. You will also have exclusive use of the hallway bathroom with complimentary shampoo and body wash.
The location is best navigated by car with easy access to 395. There is also a DASH Bus outside the building door that is a direct, one-stop ride to the Pentagon/Blue-Yellow line metro. Building has secure entry and 24-hour concierge. The neighborhood is family friendly with multiple parks and school playgrounds within walking distance. Direct-access ramp for 395 at top of the hill (0.1 miles) then less than 5 miles to the District. Less than 10 minutes to Reagan National Airport.
After 1 guest, each additional person will cost $10 each.
Looking forward to meeting you!

I am a high-school science teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia and a long-time resident of the DC area. My side-job is a health and wellness business centered on pure, safe, and beneficial products. I actively volunteer in my community in both Alexandria and DC. I enjoy music, a good book, laughter, and fresh flowers. But most importantly - I LOVE DC! I'm happy to help others fall in love with all that DC and Northern Virginia have to offer by opening my home. In return, I want to hear your story and learn of your journey.
