Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Some info has been automatically translated.
A very quiet hamlet, no shops but only itinerant merchants that bring bread, fruit and some dry goods: an amazing and quaint experience. In front of the flat, a small church dating late 19th century, beautiful and romantic with its old belltower

The space
A romantic cosy little flat built from an old barn fully renovated and stylishly furnished in keeping with the true Tuscan tradition, an ideal hideaway for a relaxing holiday.
The stone-made house and its garden are completely fenced. In the garden you can eat, sun-bathe, look at the wonderful view on the castle and the valley, or just sit and talk to the owners about Tuscan traditions.
In the afternoons you can learn Tuscan cookery with Grand-Ma Brunetta and taste traditional specialties or learn Italian with Norma (both activities are on request and to be paid extra), while in the evenings you can listen to Grand-Pa Silano playing his old accordion, or Volfango and Carmen playing their cellos. Soooo romantic!!
Small animals are allowed. Fenced parking.
TV, washing-machine, private kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning, breakfast. Bikes for rent, swimmingpool. We have recently added a wallbox station to recharge electric cars (to be paid extra)
Norma and Volfango bought the house in 2001 and started its renovation, trying to respect its original shape and characteristics. The name Casa al Moro comes from the old mulberry tree standing in the garden, which in the 19th century was the food for silkworms, but now helps you stay cool during hot summers, lying on sunbeds, reading or chatting with friends.
According to the season you can taste local organic cherries, strawberries, salad, tomatoes, all of them coming from the garden of the house. Really delicious and so different from fruit and vegetables coming from supermarkets!!
You can spend your time walking and wandering on the hills, looking for mushrooms and blueberries, or simply watching local birds and wild animals. At night, if you drive up the hill, you might see a fox crossing the road, or a mother wild boar with her babies running after her, or even the royal deer with its enormous horns...

Guest access
Our guests can stay in all the open spaces of the farmhouse.
On the large terrace, or in the relaxing corner under the gazebo in the garden where privacy is guaranteed.
Moreover, the fields below the house, with olive trees and woods for about three hectares, are open to the guests, with the possibility in the summer of picking the fruits of the forest, including blackberries and figs.

Other things to note
The location of our farmhouse is ideal for walks in the countryside.
We are at the base of the Catenaia Alps, and at the beginning of the Casentino area full of charm and history. There are also numerous country streams…

Hello to all Airbnb travelers...I joined this network with pleasure, having met him thanks to a much more technological friend of mine, and since then I have been able to appreciate the endless possibilities that are offered to expand friendships...Friends yes, because in my opinion hosting people in fact makes them enter your life...and with some of them a beautiful relationship of friendship was born. My motto: Set apart, share experiences, reopen barriers and borders, spread the word about each industry, from the most fun hobbies to top topics such as scientific and technological knowledge that can improve people's living conditions. I am an active member of Global Voices Online and Voice Global, as well as the Italian Red Cross and other volunteer associations that are interested in children and their rights to health. I like to cook a lot, but above all, to taste and let others taste what I have prepared...unfortunately the time is never enough!!! I speak some of the best-known languages, as well as being passionate about LIS, the Italian Sign Language, which people speak in Italy. I hope you'll come and visit me numerous in this corner of paradise... waiting to come to your beautiful cities myself!! Hugs! Hi AirBnB-Globetrotters! I joined this group with enthousiasm, when a technological friend of mine introduced me to it. Since then I've talked, and sometimes met, people from all over the world. Some of them are now my friends...and I love telling them stories about Italy and Italian traditions and cookery. I often cook some Tuscan specialty for my guest and those who want a special cooking lesson are also welcome! My Key-words: No distances, no borders, no fences, widespread of knowledge in every field, from enjoying hobbies to Very Important Topics. I'm waiting for you in my little country paradise!!! You're welcome wherever you come from!! :-)
