Ciella and Quincy were gracious hosts to my family. We were all warmly welcomed to their beautiful tranquil space. Fresh healthy breakfast was served to our hacienda every morning where we ate amongst the flowers and birds. We would highly recommend staying at la hacienda.

This was my second stay at The Hacienda, which is a heavenly haven in the Jaramillo mountains above Boquete. Although I had made a reservation for The Casita, other business-related guests had an extended stay and were still occupying it when I arrived. In response, Ciella and Quincy offered me 3 extra nights in a room in the main house, plus breakfast for my entire stay, which was a generous response for the change. Best breakfast I've ever had! Also, the bed was super comfortable, and the room included its own private bathroom, sitting room, and outdoor terrace.

Our host did an awesome job, running the operation single-handedly while his spouse was visiting relatives in the U.S. We loved the special touches in the Casita that appeal to U.S. travelers, like washcloths in the bathroom, a good strong hair dryer, a desk to use for eating or using our laptop, and good strong WiFi. Breakfast was wonderful and our host was most gracious about offering assistance at any time. It was a huge help to have a local cell phone with his number programmed in, and a list of reliable taxi drivers. The only drawback to this location is that a taxi to or from town runs about $6 each way, so going into town twice in one day will run about $24. For guests who bring their own car, this is not an issue. Lovely experience overall -- highly recommend this location!

Ciella and her husband were welcoming and gracious hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in The Casita at The Hacienda, which was beautifully furnished, clean, and had everything -- and more -- which I needed to feel right at home. The property is also just beautiful! The only drawback for me was the location. Due to a hip problem I wasn't comfortable making the 20-minute mountain trek by foot to get to or from town due to it being rough and uneven in some areas. However, this was easily remedied by taxi for just $5 and/or by coordinating with others on the property, including the thoughtful hosts.

We fell in love with Boquete, Panama on a quick trip here 9 years ago. The air is clean and fresh with lush vegetation and the tropical beauty lured us back to purchase a home. We love to hike and garden and be "out" in nature. We wanted to be near the ocean but could not tolerat…
