Relax with the whole family at this peaceful riverside cottage. Our wraparound deck provides gorgeous views of the Mill River. We offer a BBQ, fire pit, and spacious lawn ideal for outdoor living. Located at the end of a country lane, strategically planted trees provide privacy for your family. Only 10 kms from Mill River Resort and Golf Course and the towns of O'Leary and Alberton. A number of beautiful beaches within 15-30 minutes.
The space
The cozy cottage features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open concept living and kitchen space.
Bedroom #1 features a large picture window overlooking the river, a flat screen TV with satellite, and a queen size bed. A night stand, dresser, and closet provide ample storage space. Bedroom #2 has a single over double bunk bed for the kids, dresser, cabinet with board games, and closet which also houses a washing machine.
The many windows and wrap around deck offer unobstructed views of the river, especially from the dining and living area. A large sofa and twin swivel rocker-recliners provide a comfortable spot to either watch the boat traffic on the river or big screen satellite TV. The live edge dining table seats 6, and can double as a workspace when connected to our 25mbs high speed, wireless internet.
Relax on the wrap around deck in our many Adirondack chairs with a morning coffee from our coffee hub. The overhang on the front deck provides shade on warm days and a dry place on rainy days, while the south facing deck is a great place for sun bathing on our Zero Gravity chairs. Being the last property on the lane, this lot is extremely private as trees separate you from the neighbours. Feel free to build a fire in the firepit on the river bank, wood is provided.
Venture down to the river to sit on our Ez Dock (late June to early September), or a walk along its shores. If you decide to go for a swim we suggest you wear a pair of water shoes we provide in the deckbox.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the cottage and dock, however, the building on the property is and will remain locked.
Other things to note
> There is plenty of room to park vehicles behind the trees at the back of the property. After unloading your vehicles, please park there.
> Please pull the BBQ away from the cottage before use as to not melt the siding.
> The dock is in shallow water, please wear the provided water shoes if going for a swim.
> The hammock frame is behind the building and the hammock itself is in the blue & green stripped bag in the bathroom closet.
