My idyllic stone/log home is located near quaint Washington, Virginia, home of the famous "Inn at Little Washington". Secluded but accessible, it is perched on the edge of a foothill. Enjoy magnificent views, wonderful gardens and hiking trails at your front door. Only 1.5 hrs fom Washington, DC and 20 minutes from Shenandoah National Park or canoeing on Shenandoah River. Wineries, antique stores, quality restaurants and special music events abound. And Fido is welcome!!

If you are looking for a quiet get away to relax , read , hike , listening to nature as you sit out on the patio with your morning coffee this is the place. It's a quiet and cozy cabin with just the right amenities. The perfect get away!

I stayed here for a girls’ weekend of hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It was a perfect, peaceful location. The kitchen was great for making breakfast and packing lunches for a long day of hiking. The morning views were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

The house is a peaceful mountainside hideaway with an old world log cabin feel. Incredibly tranquil and a few minutes from little Washington.
