We had a great week staying in this apartment. It was a good space for the two of us, bright and clean and recently refurbished. It was more spacious and modern than it looked like from the outside. We were after a week of relaxing and exploring the south west of Ireland and Schull was the perfect location for that. Peter was a great host. He was quick to respond during booking and when we had to change our dates made it really easy for us to do that. He was very helpful, telling us good places to go for food and drink, gave us an OS map with marked recommended places (several of which we ticked off!) and investigated possible sailing trips for us. All in all, a great stay and a lovely, convenient place to stay...location and abode!

Hi, I'm a Marine Biologist and keen conservationist. I do underwater research and can also teach scuba diving. I simply have to live by the sea, but love hiking and biking too. That is in between looking after two beagles, a springer spaniel, an organic vegetable garden, and an old old traditional farm house that always needs care. Schull is a great place to enjoy the Atlantic but also the buzz of a small town that likes to keep busy and where everyone soon knows your name (and what your favourite pint is!) I like everything to do with nature and when I can I am under- water or chilling in the wild. Winter is when I can go travelling some recent trips were safari, Africa and a watery one on The Azores. Cycling in Cuba was my last trip away. It's always great to come back to West Cork and Schull in particular.
