Bright, light-filled 450 square foot room w/ bay and garden views & half-bath for longer stays of one month or more. High ceilings, walk-in closet, room enough for a couple, 3 adults or parents with 1 or 2 children. 1 queen bed, 1 or 2 futons, and sleepable sofa available. Entire house and garden open to guests: well-equipped kitchen, shower, bath tub, laundry, backyard patio/dining. Short walk to UC Berkeley, groceries, Cheeseboard Pizza, Rose Garden, two beautiful parks and public transit.

Close to UC Campus, walking distance to North Berkeley's famous "Gourmet Neighborhood" shops, weekly farmers market, cafes and restaurants. 5 min walk to bus stop, bus is 10 min ride to BART train to San Francisco.

Hobbies include growing garlic and flowers, gardening in general, cooking for friends and family, painting, playing and listening to music, hiking, and travel. Looking for easy-going travelers, locals and family visitors for a pleasant stay (either short or long term) in the large (450+ sq ft) lovely, sunny upstairs room/studio and half bath with a SF Bay view in my North Berkeley home. (A full bath with shower and tub are downstairs and always available for your use.) I enjoy sharing my garden-view kitchen, charming back yard with creeklet, living/dining room, and sun-drenched front porch with my friends , neighbors and with you! My street is only one block long and we have a very active, friendly and diverse neighborhood group which will welcome you as well!
