The Lil Red Barn cabin is located on our 20acre country homestead south of Grunthal, MB. 10min drive to St. Malo Beach, 45min south of Wpg.
Enjoy campfires/BBQs in the private backyard, visit with our friendly cats, visit our goats/ducks/chickens close by & enjoy listening to the birds sing... relax indoors in the charming rustic cabin.... A relaxing place to seek solitude and rest.
The space
*Please read cancellation policy prior to booking our cabin... unfortunately we have had issues with last minute cancellations & to allow our small family business to run, we have strict cancellation policy in place.
CHECKIN 4PM CHECKOUT 12PM
*During Busy Season (May-Sept & December) we do prefer 2 night booking minimums for weekends/holidays thankyou:)
*OPEN CABIN CONCEPT: please take note that the cabin is very open
*larger groups: please take note of floor mattresses, we can host larger groups that are okay being cozy (come with people you like:)
*outdoor quiet time curfew 11pm
*ALL Guests must be approved when booking (please inform us of total guests staying overnight and all daytime guests visiting).
The Lil Red Barn is a rustic cabin located on our 20acre country homestead south of Grunthal, MB.
*10min drive to St. Malo Beach, 45min south of Wpg
*Enjoy campfires in the private backyard (4 outdoor chairs provided)
*firewood provided (bring lighters)
*relax indoors in the charming cabin....comfortable, peaceful atmosphere, a perfect place to seek solitude and rest.
*the LOFT has 2 large bedrooms & a walkout deck: 2 queen beds, 6 single floor mattresses, 1 sofa bed (& 2 comfy couches some guests use as beds:) larger groups please note floor mattresses
(floor mattresses probably not suitable for seniors or guests who prefer a bed)
*large fenced in area beside cabin for dogs to run! 🐾 please have dogs on a leash when outside.
**this is a private cabin so hot meals are not provided. we do provide coffee/tea.... there is a local grocery store 5min drive to buy any additional food/snacks.
*firewood & bbq briquettes included
*limited outdoor chairs provided... please note these chairs are well used (sometimes have grass/cobwebs), guests are welcome to bring their preferred chairs from home:)
EXIT CHECKLIST:
-clean kitchen -put garbage in bins -put furniture in its place (if moved)
**NO EXTRA FINES** we have never had additional fines for guests

The yard has a shared concrete driveway and has a large private back yard (with firepit & charcoal BBQ) for guests to enjoy. The property provides a great backdrop to photo sessions or just an opportunity to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. There are pets to meet & visit on our small hobby farm... (friendly cats, dogs, goats, ducks, chickens, enjoy bird watching).
Guests are welcome to visit our goats/ducks/chickens... our private house & yard fenced property is off limits)... neighbours property is off limits.
*outdoor quiet time/respectful noise levels 11pm
Whether bird watching, taking pics of the wild flowers or walking our road at sunset, visiting our pets or relaxing indoors with games, puzzles, movies or books... our cabin is a great escape from life's busyness

The town of Grunthal has several delicious restaurants on main street (however hours are limited). There is a nice grocery store (open 7 days a week) with great selection, a delicious bakery 2 gas stations & convenience stores... all on Main Street in Grunthal (5min drive)! st.Malo is 10min drive south (variety of restaurants), Steinbach is only 20minute drive north with a large selection of restaurants & stores/mall.
