Many thanks for your compliments about the villa. It's a really unique property in this area with huge private gardens and green spaces all around. As you could see, we put all our love and passion to maintain an high quality level and to "cuddle" all our guests, included the most demanding ones. The several returning guests (some of them even book 2 weeks or more, every year) confirm the high quality of the villa, large pool and flowered gardens. Regarding the 4 things you mentioned, I would like to say:
1) The villa is located in the country side, not in a town, and it is clear from the photos. Like the vast majority of the country villas in Tuscany, you have to drive on a not asphalted road (in our case, just the last 700 metres) to reach the holiday house. Our road doesn't present particular difficulties for every type of driver (not experienced included). In the past,we even had a guest coming from Montecarlo who arrived quite easily to the villa with one of the lowest car in the world: a Ferrari.
2) As you said, the majority of swimming pools are not heated in Italy/Europe. So the only heater we have is sun. Unfortunately, the weeks before your arrival were very rainy and this didn't help the pool to warm up. Anyway, it's a good habit to ask the villa owner the average temperature of the air and of the pool for the desired holiday period, even if, in the last years, it's not easy to guess the right weather forecast because of the global climate change.
3) If needed, mosquito coils and insect repellents can be bought in every local supermarket.
4) Garbage must be properly divided by type of material and brought at the entrance of the property for daily collection. The collection days are specified in the house book. In case of extra waste production, It is possible to use multiple plastic garbage bags and to put them outside the bins.
In the villa there are 2 (two) house books with all the informations about the villa, the electric devices, the restaurants, the things to do/see and, last but not least, the garbage collection.
For every need or request, the guest can contact the owner on his mobile phone or e-mail him 24/24 h, 7/7 days.
Regarding the bed: in the property there is another double bed available which has no foot bars.
Regarding the cleaning, I think you are mentioning the extra cleaning you demaded at the end of your first week of holiday; if you were not satisfied with the accuracy of it, why you didnd't call me immediately. I could send the maid again to the villa for free, for a more accurate cleaning of the floor.
