Completely remodeled as of Jan. 2016. We fell in love with Whistler and we wanted a place right next to the restaurants, shops, and lifts. We are located just across the street from the IGA Market, Olympic Plaza, and the Village Stroll.
*Our place has just been fully remodeled as of Jan. 2016. It is a cozy 1160 sq. feet or 108 square meters.
*It comes with 1 reserved parking spot. There is guest parking for a second car in all spaces that are not marked "Reserved." There is a height restriction in the underground parking. Minivans and SUVs are fine, but not huge trucks or campers.
*Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook wonderful meals.
*We have 1 master bedroom with a king bed and attached bath. There is a private hot tub on the balcony with beautiful Blackcomb mountain views.
* Second bedroom has a queen bed and a balcony with mountain views.
*Third bedroom has a bunk bed with one full size bed and one twin bed on top. (125 pound or 57 kg limit for the top bunk)
*The second bathroom is in the hallway near the second and third bedrooms.
*There is a half bath in the downstairs living area.
*We have a boot warmer and a place to hang skis in the entryway.
You will be able to use the entire condo and our private hot tub. There is a courtyard in the complex with a charming "mini" lagoon. You will be able to use the owner's parking garage and the owner's bike storage facilities.
Interaction with guests
I am a teacher, so it can be hard to reach me on the weekdays from 8:30AM to 3:30PM. It is best to email me with your dates. You can also call me after school hours or on the weekends. (Pacific standard time. Los Angeles, California)
Other things to note
This unit is a multi-level unit with stairs. We have a pack and play for small children to sleep in and baby gates for the stairwells.
Garbage room is in the parking garage. You will need the garage access keycard to get in.
In case of electrical outage, please check the circuit breaker box in the bunkbed room.
*Our place is not a party house. We only want guests who will take care of our place and be considerate neighbors to the others in the complex. Quiet hours are from 10:00PM to 8:00AM. ($200 fines if official notice is given by strata for excessive noise.)
*Must be 25 years or older to book our place. Children are welcomed, but they must be accompanied by their parents.
*No smoking allowed in the unit or complex. (Possible strata fines.)
*No pets allowed.
*$600 Security deposit is not negotiable.
I'm a first grade teacher living in Southern California. I grew up in California, but have lived in Japan and Norway. Lars, my husband, is a business consultant. He grew up on a wheat/potato farm in Norway and went to study abroad in the US in 1986. We've been together ever since!
We love to travel, ski, read, hike, and eat. Our girls are all grown up and we are happy empty nesters.
