Wall is a picturesque village. Well located for visitors exploring Hadrian's Wall, Hexham and Tynedale. You are welcome to stay here en route or use as your base for a short break.

The space
One or two guests stay in the large, bright, west facing bedroom overlooking the garden with two comfortable 3' single beds.
Adjacent is a small sitting room with sofa and local information.
Third guest: On several occasions the small room has been used for a third guest who is happy to sleep on the full length 7' sofa with duvet and pillows etc.
The separate bathroom has basin, toilet and a cast iron bath and the shower is over the bath.
Towels are provided.
The house and furnishings are simple yet comfortable. Parking for one medium car to the rear of house. Larger cars can be parked in lay-by at the end of the drive or on the village green. Space for 2 cycles in garage.
Breakfast of tea/coffee, juice, toast, cereals, lots of fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt served in the kitchen.
Cooked breakfast on request for small charge.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for making drinks and light snacks/meals. Space in fridge if required.
Wi-Fi available.

Other things to note
The accommodation is just 2 minutes away from Hadrian's Wall Walk.
A very good menu of lunches and evening meals are served in The Hadrian Hotel - 5 minutes walk through the village from the house. Most guests have eaten there and been very satisfied with their meals. There are other pubs in nearby villages with excellent food
Shops and banks are in Hexham, a historic market town with an Abbey.
Also in Hexham are the Forum Cinema, The Queen's Hall Arts Centre with Library and Tourist Information Centre.

I am available throughout when guests are staying. I am happy to help with travel arrangements if local links to trains are not convenient. If there are transport issues I will do my best to help guests to and from the Rail Station etc.
