About this listing
Stay in a cabin among the trees next to Peanut Farm beach. A real nice spot for surfers! Price is for a double bedroom in the cabin.
This place is gorgeous! Unspoilt by anything, NIhal’s place stretches out over at least 6 acres and has a real natural, private feel to it. When we visited, we saw peacocks, two friendly dogs named ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Dangara’ and… an elephant. Seriously, Nihal is friendly with one of the elephants that freely roams the area and sometimes pays a visit in the evening.
The accommodation itself is a 2-story cabana, with a double bedroom on each floor. Both rooms share a bathroom about 50 metres away. There are hammocks among the trees and there’s a separate hut that’s used as a common area to relax, read a book or chat.
Interaction with guests

Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
