Fantastic Accommodations with a Wonderful Host Our experience at Riverpoint was exceptional. We had occasion to stay at Edward’s place for several days as we sought refuge from Hurricane IRMA. His home exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is beautifully appointed with not only a kitchen that is fit for the best of chefs, and a great room that is setup with multiple conversation pits and is very large, a grand piano and Edward even had the television preset to the weather channel as he knew our concerns. There were many little courtesies like this that rounded out the exceptional experience. The bedrooms are very comfortable and we slept very well in the beds along with enjoying the bathrooms that are laid out very nicely and provide as hot a shower as one desires. One of our favorite things about the home was the beautiful screened-in porch that runs around the entire house. It is probably 100 yards + (simply massive) long if you did one lap, so you can get some exercise while you enjoy the marvelous views. You can sit outside and take in the serenity of the peaceful river and water that surrounds his property on three sides. There is an abundance of furniture on the deck and it is setup nicely for conversation or even taking an afternoon nap should you desire, as there is a large piece of furniture that reclines partially or fully if you wanted to use it as a bed. The property has an elevator should you wish to bring things up from ground level. It has all kinds of lighting inside and outside so one can always achieve the proper mood. It really is a splendid place. I was describing Edward’s home that sits on 100 acres to my sister who is a writer and told her I thought she would enjoy relaxing and spending some time at his home in the future, as it allows one to truly escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and decompress in a very relaxing environment. We could not have asked for a more pleasant or gracious host or more sterling accommodations. Many thanks Edward.

I arranged this reservation for my parents, who were evacuating Florida as Hurricane Matthew approached. They were absolutely delighted by the accommodations; a gorgeous, well-appointed home in a serene, peaceful, and remote area where they were able to rest and collect themselves before heading back to Florida. My mom enjoyed cooking in the high-end kitchen, while my dad enjoyed napping on the expansive screened-in porch. Luckily, their home was not impacted by the winds and flood waters.
