Come and experience the mountain scenery and the peaceful, farming atmosphere just 3km out of McBride in the Robson Valley. We are a three generational working family cattle and hay ranch of 1000 acres near to lots of hiking, mountain biking and snowmobiling trails, as well as places to fish in the streams in the valley.

We are the only property on this road and you will hear very little road noise. There is plenty of privacy and quiet so that you can enjoy your stay.

The space
There are three bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and the other two with doubles), two bathrooms (one upstairs and one on the main floor), a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and spacious living room with a log burning fireplace, as well a laundry facilities. There are also two decks to enjoy the views and dine out when the weather is nice.

Guest access
You will have full access to the entire home and the big yard and are welcome to go for a walk around the property.

Other things to note
The house is located about 2 hours drive from both Jasper and Prince George, an hour from the Ancient Forest and the renowned Mt Robson Berg Lake Trail. There is excellent access to other alpine hiking and snowmobiling areas.

McBride town has all the amenities you might need, e.g. grocery stores, hospital, post office, pharmacist.

There will be farm animals in proximity to you.

Neighbourhood highlights

Rural agriculture setting. Very quiet and safe, lots of open fields, lots of trees, evergreen and deciduous , two creeks, a mile and half of river frontage, Fraser river. Lots of wild life, Elk, Deer, bears, coyutes. Cattle and horses in pastures. Exellent views of Rocky Mountains on one side of the valley and Cariboo mountains on the other side. No neighbors within a kilometer. our farm is at a dead end on a quiet rd. 3 kilomiters from town of McBride. Very close to snowmobile trails in the mountains.

We are Doug and Linda and we've operated the ranch for 46 years, with our son now taking over the operation. We have four grown up children, two of which live very close by with their children. Linda is a keen gardener and enjoys walking, and Doug likes working with his horse and in the workshop.
