Little Cottage is a cozy indipendent house with private parking, little garden on the front and a courtyard on the back. It offer all the amenities for the guests, is fresh, clean and well furnished included two bicycle to have a ride in the town. The house, recently and tastefully renovated, is nearby the historic center of Bologna by walking along the portico, is adjacent to the hospital S.Orsola and close to the trade fair district. Little Cottage offers parking for two cars and a private garden for bikes and is well served by shops, supermarkets, public transport and parks. Inside you will find a wide and quiet masterbedroom with a studio, a new and comfortable double bed sofa in the living room and another bed on the small loft on the living room, TV, wi-fi, washing machine, wash dishes, microwave, hair dryer, kettle, toaster, radio, DVD player, electrical barbecue, iron and ironing board, all linens for the bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen and the dining room, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries. Final cleaning and car parking are included in the price.
Little Cottage is close to great restaurants and pizzerias. A few meters from the house there is the Cinema Antoniano.
I recommend you excursions to one of the most beautiful villages Dozza tand to the natural parks on the hills (Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi e Calanchi dell'Abbadessa). You will find many information in the brochure left at home as well as for local shops, exhibitions and museums and the city's events. Bologna is easily connected to the historical cities of northern and centre Italy that you can visit easily by train in a day such as Florence, Ferrara, Ravenna, Parma, Venice, Rome and Milan.
Little Cottage is easily accessible from the freeway, train station and the historic center and the fair district.
This small house, built in 1920, is unique because it offers the privacy of a detached house in a nice residential area of the city with its garden and its courtyard a few minutes walk from the historic center of Bologna.
Bologna has not a mass tourism like other italian so you can live in a more authentic town and enjoy its beautiful historical rich of renaissance palaces, medieval towers, gothic churches, art gallery and the characteristic porticos where you can have nice shopping. Bologna is located in Emilia Romagna Region just between Veneto, Lombardia and Toscana Region so in a baricentric position from where, by superhighway or railway you can easily reach many important towns, as well as the Apennini Mountains and the Adriatic seaside. Bologna is served by an important international airport and high velocity railway.
Bologna is just near the hills so you can enjoy beautiful panorama and have nice walks in the regional parks or dinner in a panoramic restaurant.
Bologna is well knew also for friendliness of its inhabitants and the marvellous cuisine. In Bologna there are important trade fair, ancient University and important economic activities and hospitals. Bologna offers also many cultural and artistic events; since 2000 is the "European Capital of Culture" and since 2006 "City of Music" UNESCO.
Little Cottage is in a residential area well served by shops, supermarket, banks, pharmacy and bus stop. Nearby there is the town park Giardini Margherita and you can arrive easily in the centre of the town with 15/20 min walking under the porticos during which you can enjoy very interesting monuments and buildings, bars and shops.
The area, on the east side of the town, is also very good contected both to the centre of the town and the outside. so you can easily reach to the airport, the rail and bus station and to the freeway. Bologna is less than 100km distance to the seaside and to go to the airport you need by car only 15-20 min. (14 km).
Little Cottage is in a private street perpendicular on via Mazzini so if you come by car you have to straight on via Mazzini until the first light stop and then turn on the second street on the left (there is a tree on the corner). You can then easily park the car just in front of the house with the special parking pass that I'll give you for free until the day of your departure.
If you come by bus from the airport you have to take the airbus until Ugo Bassi bus stop (in the centre) and then from there take the bus n. 19 until via Mazzini (Albertoni bus stop). It will take around 30min.
If you come from the rail - bus stastation you can take bus n. 27 and you will arrive in 12-15 min.
