Helen's house is in a great location, just up the road from Salt's Mill and the railway station and canal. Lots to see and do in the mill itself and lots of places just a few minutes away by rail or car. Fascinating to walk around Caroline Street and the surrounding roads and see the houses built for the mill workers and their bosses.

We had such a lovely family trip to Saltaire and the surrounding area and Helen's home on Caroline Street was the perfect base for us. The house is lovely and the location could not be better. We had everything we needed for a family of four and would love to come back again. We particularly enjoyed exploring Saltaire and eating at Curryosity (awesome okra fries!), the steam train and Haworth and the beautiful Gibson Mill near Hebden Bridge. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Helen's house is in the heart of the World Heritage Site of Saltaire, just metres from the old Mill. The house itself has all the history you'd expect (stone floors) but has also been comfortably decorated. Facilities are perfect - good cooking options and both shower and bath. Only thing is that there is no TV but there are lots of books to amuse. Would definitely recommend.

Saltaire is a beautiful village to explore. Helen's home is in a super location. A minute walk to the train station. Park with walking trails just at the end of the street. Bakery, sandwich shop, soup shop, just around the corner. Be sure to check out the Salt Mill shops: five stories of exploration. 14 minute train ride to Leeds, where you will find a very unique and plentiful shopping experience. Skipton and York are also a short train ride away and very worthwhile visiting.

Great place to stay in Saltaire and base to explore the village and the local area. Would definitely recommend Helen's place and she was extremely accommodating.

Born and bred in the Aire valley, I've loved staying with people all over the world on my own travels so look forward to welcoming you to Saltaire.
I want you to feel at home, whether that's making use of the kitchen or relaxing in front of the fire after a day out exploring, the space is yours to enjoy.
If I'm around, (which is variable as I work away some of the time), there tends to be music on in the background- new recommendations always appreciated.
