Hi, come be our guest and enjoy living steps from the ocean in Pacific Beach. Beach house with private yard + BBQ. We are a 5 min. walk from a hundred restaurants/activities. Four different TV's with cable. We are new to AirBNB so prices are low.
Our house is in an excellent location offering privacy yet is 100 feet away from Starbucks and all the other shops and restaurants along Garnet Ave. on your way to the beach which is 5 blocks away.
The home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedrooms consist of two with king beds, one with queen, and a master bedroom with queen bed, private bathroom, and walk-in closet. Both queen beds have tempurpedic mattresses.
Full kitchen - stove, oven, microwave, brand new fridge, blender, coffee maker/grinder, complete range of pots/pans/knives/mixing bowls/etc, and a full spice rack. Access to outdoor BBQ .
Wifi with strong signal in all rooms. Living room has a TV with digital direcTV cable and 185+ channels as well as an HDMI connection for your laptop. Three of the four bedroom also have TV with Cable and HDMI.
Check the Guidebook for things nearby, I've tried to be good about adding restaurants/bars that I like and good essentials that are nearby.
Parking - Two spaces are available on site for your private use. The back door of the house is steps away from the car. There's street parking all around, even in the summer, a few blocks away closer if you are lucky. Nearby there's paid parking but its not necessary as long as you are OK with a three to five minute walk.
We love to host. Our property has two houses on it and we live in the smaller house and host guests in the larger one. To the extent we're at home during your visit, you will be most likely invited to join us on a trip to the beach, a local restaurant, or sharing a beer or glass of wine (assuming you're over 21). We are literally steps from great restaurants both fancy/affordable. Starbucks is directly behind the house as a great first stop, from there there are literally over a hundred places to go for food in the five blocks between the house and beach. Here's a sampling: list of places I love will be added later when I have more time
The beach is literally right down the street, five blocks away. And when you get tired of surfing, swimming or sunbathing... you can come back, relax and dry-off in the private back yard. Its a great place to BBQ.
Everywhere in Pacific Beach is walking distance from my place. You're 15-20 minute drive from Mission Valley's shopping and the famous Fashion Valley shopping area. Sea World is only a 10 minute drive away, you can walk to the Catamaran Hotel for their daily dinner ferry, Downtown is a little over 20min, and the international border (Tijuana) is around 45min.
If you are adventurous/stir crazy, you can go paddle boarding or kayaking in the bay, surfing (surf school has all the gear you need), or snorkeling at the Cove in La Jolla. For the land loving, biking and hiking at nearby Mission Bay and the Boardwalk are both great. On my run around the bay every evening I see Sea World's famous fireworks show every night.
I am happy to help you figure your way around with maps/recommendations. Just ask!
Guests will have access to the whole house, back yard, outdoor BBQ and Parking Area. The food and drinks in the house are also available to guests.
Interaction with guests
We will be present during your stay in another house on the property unless I am out of town. I work in Pacific Beach, about a 10 minute drive from my house. I am typically working from 8:00AM-6:30PM, as are most neighbors, which means 11PM quiet hours are strictly enforced.
No pets, parties, or indoor smoking. Feel free to use everything in kitchen and place in dishwasher or clean it once finished to avoid bugs. Please respect the neighbors and make sure everyone has the best vacation possible. I am typically working all week, as are most neighbors, which means 9PM-9AM quiet hours outside the house are strictly enforced.

I am from Virginia, USA and my wife is from Istanbul, Turkey. After exploring the entire world we both fell in love with San Diego and now call the "finest city in america" home. We vacation to Turkey in the Spring and Fall and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico during winter.
