What an incredible location! The island was beautiful, and Quebec City was a convenient drive away. Would highly recommend.

Amazing cottage! Only a few miles from Quebec City, but once you cross the bridge, you find yourself in a place where life is slow and simple, in the idyllic country side with the small farm plots sloping towards the river, vineyards and apple orchards. The ways of the island life still continue the century old traditions and culture. Amelie's place has all of the charm of the original 1734 stone farm cottage with modern updates and conveniences. We enjoyed making a fire in the fireplace, baking pizza in the cast iron owen, soaking in the hot tub under the old trees. A short walk to the river. A great base to explore old Quebec city and the coast of Quebec along St. Lawrence river. Thank you, Amelie for your hospitality and sharing your cosy cottage with us.
