Long Beach’s walker’s paradise isn’t so much a neighborhood as it is a stretch of Fourth Street that spans Alamitos Beach and Bluff Heights on the south side of the city.

Downtown is a super short bus ride that drops off near the Convention Center. Bus stops are 1-2 blocks away and affordable at $1.25

We welcome families, are LBGTQ supporters and have a heck of a guide book with local treasures.

It helps to be computer savvy to follow directions and stay in contact.

I was in the city for a conference and had a very comfortable stay here. Close to the convention Centre, but far enough away that youre near great local restaurants!

Our host, Linda, was very thoughtful and gracious. We were delighted to find that we had a coffee maker with coffee, oranges, and chocolates. The room was quiet with an en-suite full bathroom making it very private and easy. Close to fine restaurants, shopping and the beach.

Linda and Neil are just great. I really enjoyed the time staying with them. The neighbourhood is also nice and close to everything. Strongly recommend - I would definitely come back for future visit.

We fully apologized for the parking (which unfortunately was out of our control), and the spontaneous party during the Pride weekend, on Saturday, when old friends dropped in. A parking spot was available on the final night, and offered, but did not receive a response.

Linda was extremely nice and accommodating. Great knowledge of the city, good suggestions for things to do and places to go. Her place is nice and warm, and it was also nice to have a conversation with her and her husband. Highly recommended! Excellent location too.
