Paula is a very welcoming and accommodating host. My wife and I stayed at her place for almost 3 months as we got organized for a permanent relocation to San Diego. As far as a downtown location, this can't be beat. There are countless fantastic restaurants, bars coffee spots, sh…

I'm surprised the bed wasn't to your liking. No one has given me that feedback. I have a bad back and the new mattress is fine for me. I know when you got to my place, you had back trouble. Maybe you should have called the chiropractor's number you asked for! No one should sleep on any couch, so the comfort of that doesn't concern me. Cat hair is my cleaning lady's fault, I guess. : (

Pipi was a great host. I do a lot of bookings on Airbnb, various countries, cities. Pipi was very easy to communicate with from the beginning. She was very helpful, and we managed to arrange every detail in just few emails. Location of apartment and the apartment itself was exact…

Paula is terrific and her property is basically perfect for spending fun, quality time in the Gas Lamp area of San Diego. You really can't get a better location. It's close to everything and within walking distance of literally hundreds of restaurants and clubs. Very clean, ve…

This is a lovely apartment perfectly situated in the Gaslamp district. I was there for a conference at the convention center and I was closer to the meeting rooms than the conference hotels. Because it's in the heart of a very vibrant neighborhood and close to the Petco Stadium, …

Paula was a great host via phone. She left us our privacy for the entire stay. Big plus for us! She communicated with me via text daily to ensure all was okay. When we arrived we had parking issues that took us almost an hour to figure out but once we figured out everything we…

I always alert my guests about parking. Sometimes they are able to park in my space free of charge, with my parking card. If not, I do leave another parking card, which does get them into the parking structure; they are able to park in the building for short periods of time or in an empty spot when I am able to check with the building supervisor. However, it is hassle free if they can park in another parking lot, either in the building where "public parking" is or next door in an outside lot which can be as low as $7 a day. My cat is usually not on the premises; he is with someone else, however this weekend, with Cynthia, he was not able to be with a catsitter, so that is why she was offered an average of $100 a night on my place that was $380 for that time period. She was happy to accept that. My usual cleaning lady is the best, (never a cat hair after her!); she was there a few hours before Cynthia arrived; since she had the key, she inadvertantly locked it, however both she and my friend were willing to run over to unlock the door immediately. The bed is a memory foam bed from Sweden; I bought it because it has cleared up my cronic back problem. Also, I provide all the basics for breakfast, such as bread, cereal, eggs, coffee, etc. (Note Kasey's review below; he left the day Cynthia came.)
