Explore the beauty of nature in this astonishing mountain top lake with a breathtaking view. Our island offers an ambiance of a peaceful country setting where you can experience serenity away from your busy life.

The space

If you want a great outdoor experience: whether it's camping, swimming, fishing, boating, bonfire, horseback riding or just laying back and enjoying your much needed vacation, Green Valley island is the spot for you.

Stay in our simple nipa hut equipped with bunk beds that can sleep 4 people or just enjoy the outdoors through pitched tents which we can also provide.

If you want to ensure that you will be the only guests in the island, we will gladly block the calendar for a fee of $200 which will entitle you to a total of 20 guests.

Please see our other listing under greenvalley2...we built twin huts that can accommodate 6 guests each and 2 cabanas facing the lake that can accommodate 4 people.

There is a small native dining hall across the nipa hut where you can enjoy the meals that you have prepared or you can ask our caretaker to cook them for you at a small fee.

We have a fire pit at the top most portion of the island where you can enjoy grilling hotdogs or marshmallows under the star-lit skies.

Experience dining at our floating cabana which also serves as our launch pad for swimming. We strictly adhere to a "no-life vest, no-swimming policy" since safety is our foremost concern. Life vests will be provided for those who intend to swim.

We have solar electricity good for lighting and charging your gadgets. If you want to stay connected with the outside world, we will provide you with a wi-fi.

The island is an animal friendly environment...we have 2 horses, 1 carabao, 4 turkeys and chickens roaming around. However, we will ensure that you will not be bothered by them during your stay.

You are free to bring your own pets if you wish, they, too, deserve a vacation.

By the way, please keep in mind that staying outdoors would also mean welcoming nature's harmless creatures...some frogs here and there, flies and insects. I guess it comes with Nature;)

Guest access

Feel free to roam around the whole island and enjoy every corner of it. The fire pit and floating cabanas are common areas, so are the showers and restrooms.

We would appreciate though if you will refrain from throwing anything on the ground since we are trying to preserve the area...

Interaction with guests

Ate Amy and Kuya Lito are our caretakers. They will be there to assist you during your stay. However, their assistance will not include cleaning up your dishes or washing your clothes. They will only ensure that you get to and out of the island safely, provide you with clean drinking water, life vests, wood for the bonfire (upon request) or help you with other activities you would want to engage in while in the lake.

Amazing spot in the middle of nowhere, perfect to unwind and feel away from the rest of the world surrounded by animals and wetlands. Go for a run in the sunrise, unique experience

My family had a great time in this island paradise. The weather cooperated with no rain forecast in the horizon. The local host is easy to contact as well as the caretaker Ate Amy. I took the advise of other reviewers to request for a ginataang shrimp, and it was really good! They have a lot of dogs in the island but they are all very friendly especially Happy...though they will keep on begging once they saw you eating :)...overall we had a wonderful stay!

LOTS of nooks to explore.. chickens to feed(my 12 yr old) and chase(2 yr old), puppy to play with, lake that begs you to spend an entire day in it... serene, quiet, beautiful. The host even allowed us a late checkout on request.. spent the entire day snoozing in the cabana and dipping in the lake. The perfect lazy vacation .... and nobody to bother you !

The place is truly awesome. So serene and vast space to roam around with my family and pet dogs. The lake water is so clean and we had fun swimming. The Balsa needs repair but it didnt hinder our enjoyment of the water. Also, Kuya Lito and Ate Amy are very helpful in all our needs. Will surely visit again.

Green valley island is the best! We went there to do a prenup photoshoot during the day, and ibeth was very kind to accomodate us. The caretaker of the island was so polite and attentive to our needs. We were so in love with this island that we plan to come back again and stay overnight with the whole family. We had so much fun because there were a lot of beautiful sceneries , the photoshoot became very relaxing and easy. We would definitely be back soon!

Had a great time in Ibeth's place! I was confused at first because I didn't realize that Greenvalley 1 and 2 are located in the same island; in fact, the huts are just next to each other. The place is serene and quiet. You can walk around the whole island and not encounter anyone. Too bad though that the sunny weather was punctuated with brief bursts of rain. Despite it, you will never feel the humidity that blankets Manila and the sunshine is actually quite friendly. The lake breeze is very refreshing and it was an awesome (but scary) experience swimming in the lake. The place is extremely pet friendly. We brought the family dog and he had the most fun running around and swimming. He also made new friends -- with Happy the husky being the most special one he made. Bring a doggie life vest though as the lake bottom suddenly drops out in some portions and your pet might panic when his feet can't stand on anything. Accommodations are basic. We didn't ask to have tents pitched as it might rain again during the night. The cots in the huts are comfortable and despite it being indoors, the evening climate was cool. It wasn't a problem sleeping inside. we didn't even need to use the electric fan provided in one of the bedrooms in the big hut. Bathrooms are okay. However, the water pressure was low when we were there because only droplets were coming out of the shower hehe. Worry not though as there is a balde and tabo provided. You can use their plates and cutlery, and kitchen utensils. Bring lots of ice and your own food. The caretakers Ate Amy and Kuya Lito are the best host proxies. They are very gracious and accommodating and always checked-in on us to see whether we needed anything. They are the salt of the earth, really. Like the other reviewers before us said, it was too bad that there were no river shrimp for Ate Amy's famous ginataang hipon. However, she did cook for us a mean pancit bihon and gave us a Coke and a bag of monay to go with it. Thank you Ibeth for the pansit. It wasn't really necessary but it was a very kind gesture :) I am glad to have discovered Ibeth's island in Airbnb. The dog and I can't wait to return there.
