Warm, attentive hosts

Guests highlight Ilze and Yucel by name, praising their warmth and thoughtful touches like fresh flowers
Stay in a newly renovated cottage in the heart of Old Bennington, at the oldest frame house in Vermont! Overlooking a 3-acre yard with mountain views, enjoy New England foliage/skiing/hiking and history steps away. The Bennington Monument, First Church, Robert Frost's grave, and the Bennington Museum are 2 mins away, as are Bennington restaurants and shopping. Williamstown, North Adams museums, Manchester shopping and nordic and downhill skiing are all within a scenic 20-25 min drive.

The space
We just renovated a cottage that is on our property. Note that it is close to the house, but quite private, a free standing cottage with its own entrance.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to stroll the yard, full of beautiful flowers in summer. You might see deer, rabbits and skittering chipmunks. The wood sculptures in the lower yard are Yucel’s artwork.

Other things to note
Sustainability is important to us, so paper products are bamboo, trash bags are recycled, and we offer fair trade coffee (not in pods, but loose. All from Thrive Market. Sheets are high quality organic cotton and towels are cotton/bamboo blend.

Located in historic Old Bennington, the house is in a peaceful residential neighborhood just steps away from the First Church, Robert Frost's Grave, the Bennington Monument, and Bennington Museum. Bennington center is less than a mile down the road.
