Your own cabana next to Rekawa lagoon and Tangalle beach. Price is for a cabana and there are three cabanas plus 2 rooms available.
Gayan’s is a little paradise tucked away between the lagoon on one side and the sea on the other. You can literally hear the waves break from the lagoon-side balcony. Three nice cabanas and two more rooms in the villa, all stylishly decorated and surrounded by a lush garden, make for a perfect spot to settle down for a while and enjoy one of the best beach experiences Sri Lanka has to offer.
Interaction with guests
Your host is a bright, young fellow called Gayan. Though only 23 years old, he and his wife are taking good care of the place and its guests, with a little help from their friendly dog Rocky. Gayan’s English is good and there’s wifi available, so arranging food, transport and things like boat rides, turtle or whale watching is very easy.

Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
