This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Queen of Hearts is our 69ft warm, cosy centrally heated narrowboat that is designed to stylishly sleep 10-12 ppl with a mixture of single, double & bunk beds. Situated at the bottom of Bathwick Hill (below the Uni of Bath) & just a 7 minute walk to the city centre.

Bath Narrowboats is a commercial boat hire centre with other boats available should this one not be available or you prefer more choice. Have a look at our website & just type Bath Narrowboats into a search engine to find more info.

- THIS BOAT CAN BE BOOKED FOR 1-12 GUESTS AND THE PRICE VARIES ON HOW MANY PEOPLE BOOK.

-THIS BOAT IS STATIC AT OUR WHARF SIDE FOR B+B AND DOES NOT INCLUDE CRUISING.

On arrival you will find a fitted out painted wood interior, 2 bathrooms with a toilet & hot/cold shower, a high gloss black contemporary kitchen with an oven, hob, 2 fridges/freezer, utensils & a double dinette to seat two lots of six. These can also convert into double beds when required. There are two 19 " televisions/DVD for further entertainment. The space is separated by sliding partitions for your privacy and has central heating to keep you warm & cosy.

Guest access
During your stay you will have exclusive private use of the boat.
Don't worry about knowing what to do as we will show you all you need to know to enjoy your stay with us.
It will be moored amongst other boats but at the historic Sydney Wharf which was used in the past to unload the barges that were travelling from far with their goods.
We have two separate lockable gates that you will be able to use to give you access.
We have an onsite office open from 9 till 5 everyday so if you want more info, help with knowing the area etc, don't hesitate to make direct contact.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: We process a £100 pre authorisation hold on arrival for the B & B which is held by your bank for 7-10 working days.

There are other activities you can have access to at both of our sites that can add to your experience whilst you stay with us.
We have bikes that we hire at £22 per day allowing you to explore the city or the towpath in and around Bath.

A cycle ride to our other base is approx 45 minutes away where there are more activities such as canoe hire and electric boat hire as well as a restaurant cafe.

We also have dayboats to hire for the day ( subject to availability )
We also have personal skippers at extra cost that can be hired to cruise the boat should you not want to.

For longer stays, guests are welcome to have grocery deliveries to our address.

Please ALSO NOTE your boat bed and breakfast stay with us is a static / stationary stay at our working wharf on the canal in the centre of Bath. Your stay DOES NOT include cruising the boat away from our moorings. If you are interested in a cruise, then you need to explore other options with our office team discussing a cruising experience which could be a separate boat booking cruising for the day or longer on a holiday cruising boat.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are just 100 metres up from the bottom of Bathwick Hill, adjacent to the historic Kennet and Avon canal. This is the main hill up to the University of Bath. We are a short walk from the Holbourne museum, Sydney Gardens and Great Pulteney way which takes you straight to the famous Pulteney Bridge over the River Avon near the Bath Rugby Rec ground.
Along the canal towpath we are approx 10 minutes walk to Widcombe and the flight of six locks or 30 minutes in the other direction towards Bathampton. There is a Tesco express nearby should you want any extra food & drink.
