Aloha! I lived in on big island of Hawaii for the last 6 years with my husband, Evan and two little ones. I grew up on Oahu and Evan is local boy from Waimea. Evan works as a freelance cinematographer. We stay busy with our children-running from soccer practice to swim lessons. On weekends, you'll find us at the beach with playing in the ocean. We are fortunate to live on a beautiful one acre property in Holualoa which we love! We are surrounded by mature monkey pod and palm trees and are at the perfect elevation above Kailua Kona. The forest behind our home is so peaceful and sunsets are amazing from our property! Nature surrounds us- everyday I see a variety of colorful birds. This home has also quite an interesting history as it is a custom home built for an Italian contessa who lived here for more than 20 years! We have been hosting travelers from around the world in our home for the last 4 years. Our home features two guest suites. Both apartments have been completely remodeled and are nicely appointed with new furnishings. We have a one-bedroom unit that can accommodate two people. We also have a two-bedroom unit that can accommodate four guests. Hawaii is a very special and unique place. We like to share with visitors why we love this island paradise we call home.
