Welcome to your vacation bungalow in the heart of The Land of 1000 Hills! This private home studio was thoughtfully designed by NAFASI Interiors for an extremely pleasant stay. The studio has one queen bed, a sitting area with sofa and chair, a kitchenette/working area, and a bathroom with a hot spa-like shower. It was all recently renovated in May 2018!
“Teri and Patrick's place is the perfect spot to take in Kigali and the Kimihurura neighborhood. It was clean, super stylish, and you can walk just about anywhere. Claudette is so sweet and helpful, and I was able to have laundry done! They were quick to respond with a question I had. One of the best parts of this studio is the super quick internet speed - I was able to do video calls for work with zero problems. I will definitely come back and stay when I am back in Kigali!”
A paradise in a secure and cozy environment, close to the central town, only 10 minutes walking distance. Close to big supermarkets, such as Nakumat, Simba Super Market and coffee shops. Enjoy your stay in a clean, cozy and spacious private room, with free WIFI. Laundry services can be offered once a week at no extra cost. Safe gated community, 24/7 security guards . Guest can prepare own meal on request.
“Best place to stay in Kigali! If you want to meet a local Rwandan and hear about the country, you must meet Rupert. He has written books on the genocide which he sells. I had a lot of questions about the history and he was able to answer them. Dont be deterred from the appearance of the street leading to his home, the area is safe and there is a 24hr security guard who can even look out for you when you return late. There are always moto taxis available at the top of the street I never had to wait long for one. There are restaurants within walking distance-Fantastic restaurant has an all day buffet for 2USD and live music band on thurs/fri/sat, khana khazana has amazing indian food and the best banana wine/beer (urwagwa/akorosho) i have had in Kigali. There is also Heaven restaurant nearby and free films at the goethe institute nearby on Tuesday evenings. Dont miss Niyo or Inema art galleries they have live performances some days which are only a short moto taxi away. Repub lounge is a quick moto away and has live music and amazing local food 4 nights a week. On the same street is a cheap Rwandan buffet called Afrika Bite. Really the hospitality is so genuine and he really cares about his guests. I would recommend to anyone wanting to connect with the authentic local experience. Plus, Rupert has lived in the west so he knows how to cater to westerners as well.”
Our place is close to Volcanoes National Park, just on the outskirts of Musanze town about 3 km from the city center. You’ll love our place because of the beautiful views of the volcanoes, American mattresses, and stunning architecture built with local materials. Our two rooms are a part of a detached private bungalow with a bathroom and shower. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
“This is the second time I have stayed in this property and I could not recommend Matt'N'Andrea's place more. When you stay there you have access to so much more than a peaceful retreat, a clean space, a great shower, and a safe home because Matt and Andrea really put thought and time into taking care of their guests. Matt booked us a car to take us too and from Bisoke mountain, helped us pre-order food for our hike from Crema (a local coffee shop run by their son), and connected us to a local food delivery service so we didn't even have to leave home to get food when we were exhausted post-hike. Andrea was a welcoming presence at the property, checking in with one of our party who fell ill during our stay. The members of the house staff are wonderful, they even offered to clean our muddy clothing overnight as soon as we arrived back from the volcano. If you are looking for a place to stay in Musanze, look no further and just make a booking!”
