“The Casino of Estoril is about 10 minutes walking from Cascais, and offers many forms of entertainment besides being a casino. Very nice restaurants (Mandarin - the best Chinese in Portugal), a lounge where many concerts take place (several of them completely free), Jezebel the nightclub (the only decent one in the area) and the gardens in front of the casino, beautiful place and where many events take place. ”

Café

“If you come here on the weekends especially, you will see the Porsche 911, Mercedes GT, Bentley, Maserati all parked outside. In a normal cafe, coffee will be around 1-1.20, here it is around 2 euro. Drinks and pastries are around 25-50% more but it is worth it and we are talking about a few euros more for the whole bill. The pastries are really good, great location, great cafe. ”

“This beach is close to Cascais which is another attraction. Both are easy to find and to make a perfect 2 for 1 day. To get there: take the train from Cais de Sodre until the last Estoril stop. TIPS: put 10euros on a metro card BEFORE getting to cais de sodre because there are many tourists and he get super long and stressful to get your ticket from the station. Use any machine from any other metro station on your way to do so. ”

Ice Cream Shop

“ 1949 - More than sixty years ago, at the Tamariz and perhaps without having at the time the notion of the size of his gesture, Attilio Santini opened doors of what is without doubt the best known Portuguese gelataria. When attending the first customer, by serving the first cone of what was quickly considered "the best ice cream in the world", Attilio Santini marked the beginning of something that can already be considered a tradition: go to Santini!”
