Quiet Earth Eco House; A really magical place; Grand Designs Eco home award winner 2008 is a two storey loadbearing straw bale house (first in the UK). A luxurious off grid home, offering a truly sustainable experience in a very beautiful and quiet haven. Situated in St Dogmaels on a hilltop overlooking breathtaking views of Cardigan estuary, close to local beaches and the Pembrokeshire coastal footpath. We look forward to supporting your retreat here and sharing the many gifts of this place.
This straw bale eco retreat home was self built between 2003-05 and generated much attention due to it's unique nature. Please read the full description before booking! It is a beautiful peaceful retreat centre, offering special time to relax in an untouched woodland upon a hill overlooking spectacular views of the Teifi estuary. There are various idyllic beaches within a couple of miles of here and many inspiring walks. We are two miles from the start of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. It is also an off grid home, powered by the sun and the wind and this is one of it's important features, giving one the opportunity to experience living with the elements and being powered by them. Low energy appliances may be used with awareness such as occasional laptops etc. (no hairdryers/ straighteners or heating appliances). The Nature of this place does also invite the visitor to just enjoy being switched off for a while and to experience the gifts of the environment. Downstairs you will find a large open plan kitchen and living room with a wood stove which heats the whole house. There is a downstairs bathroom in a rounded stone turret with sunken bath and rain water harvested toilet. Water is solar heated and back boiler heated in the winter. The house offers a long conservatory to enjoy the stunning estuary views. We have 2 delightful and gentle cats here called Elma and Arthur in the house and then daphne the dog who will be with us in the eco lodge close by. We can arrange at times for the cats to be out of the house and use the conservatory for short periods. If you have serious cat allergies however this may not be for you. Upstairs offers a beautiful and spacious open plan room which offers itself as a luxury bedroom and studio for a couple or a space for family or occasionally a retreat space for a group of up to 8 with low futon style beds. We have also now opened up the large beautiful attic bedroom as an extra room with a double mattress and space for more. This is accessible by ladder. In the warmer months there occasionally is a self contained eco lodge too. The wood fired hot tub will Only be available from early summer at certain discretionary times for long staying guests who can enjoy the ritual of gathering wood, heating the stove and then bathing under the stars. Please note; this takes a good few hours to prepare and so is Not available for short stays due to the sustainable aspect of this centre. The woodland is terraced, with paths for visitors to explore and we are currently developing a forest garden. We also encourage artists and writers in residence to spend time here working in a natural and supportive environment on a project. We can offer subsidy for this also at times. Please note; this is a natural straw bale/ clay built home and we hire a wonderful cleaner to scrub the place...we use no chemicals in the process.. it is perfectly clean in the best eco natural way possible. Yes, there can be spiders and insects around in the summer.. please bear this in mind as a natural part of living close to Nature.
The beauty of this place is all that Nature has to offer along with the gifts of many of the creative people living in the nearby village and surrounding area. There are many circular walks for which we can give directions. We are situated at the beginning of the pembrokeshire coastal path and close to an array of stunning beaches. Our local beaches Poppit and Mwnt have regular sitings of bottle nosed dolphins and seals. Cardigan town is a few miles away along the estuary and offers shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema, spa and a heritage centre. In the heart of the village is a ruined Abbey, a visitors centre and cafe. The village offers a good few pubs along the river, a wonderful deli with homemade produce and cafe. We encourage guests to visit our local produce markets and organic market gardens. Most foods can be bought locally. The gift of this home is that it is secluded in a woodland and yet a walking distance to the village estuary and beaches.
  • We really enjoyed our stay, it was great to get into nature more and take a brake from living in a city. This trip really opened our eyes to a more sustainable way of living, something I am striving towards my self. Lots of land around the house to explore and the wood and log burner kept us warm in the evening. Shop and a pub are walking distance. Thank you

Part of a beautiful old stone mill transformed into a 1 bed luxury holiday cottage, nestled in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and 5 minute drive from the historic town of Cardigan.
Cryngae Mawr Farm was founded in the 1820s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Coach House itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. It has recently been converted to a high standard providing a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury bathroom with power rain shower and a large open plan kitchen and lounge with large double sofa bed. The Coach House has a private garden to front but also has a sunny open garden area to the rear leading to the woods and streams beyond.
The Cardigan Bay area was voted by lonely planet as best place to be in the world right now, its absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants. Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants. The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking; its known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.
  • The Coach House is the perfect place to stay when exploring this part of Wales. When we arrived the cottage was warm and cozy, and Shaun had left Welsh cakes and drinks which got us off to to good start. The cottage is impeccably kept, and  located in beautiful countryside. Close to many beautiful beaches - we particularly enjoyed Popitt Sands, Porthgain and Aberport and .Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants can all be found in nearby Cardigan. For breakfast we loved Crwst in Cardigan, and delicious fresh ice cream from Pointz Castle near Solva. We had a great time, highly recommended. We'll be back. Thanks!

  • A lovely cottage in a great location, a short drive from the beautiful beach in Aberporth. Shaun was very hospitable and the property had everything we needed. It was also excellent value for money.

  • A rustic farm arrival to be surprised by a modern converted coach house with all modern cons. Warm, cosy, very comfortable bed and pillows and lovely hot shower. Everything one could want for a wonderful stay. Finding the place can be a little worrying, but after following Shaun's directions we found the place easily. Had a small hassle getting onto wifi, but once logged in it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

  • The Stables were a perfect choice for the 3 of us and our little dog. The location is breathtaking. The farm is just a peaceful, lovely and astounding place to be. The cottage was sprawling and big. We loved the vibe of it and never wanted to leave and left with wonderful memories we shall cherish forever. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you needed to cook your own meals if you got your grocery. Loved the personal welcome touches that was left for us!!! Its truly been one of the most extraordinary places we have lived in. The weather was crazy this time of the year but we just loved being indoors more and enjoying ourselves and had a great time going outdoors as we could. Its just a few mins away from the beach and some wonderful places around the coast lines. We are surely looking forward to our visits in the warmer months and be there again. Thanks to lovely Shaun who was around and gave us wonderful tips and infos. Our little fur baby loved it so much as well! We do highly suggest this place for a proper Welsh farm cottage living experience that you dont wanna miss !!!

  • We stayed in late October and the farm was very quiet - May be busier in summer as it looks like there are camping facilities on the farm. Lovely property, big lounge area and spacious, well equipped kitchen. Dog friendly.

Bed and Breakfast at our farmhouse that is almost 200 years old. We are in a quiet spot yet nestled between Aberporth on the coast and Cardigan with all the amenities. A great location for walking the coastal path or visiting some of the best beaches in West Wales.
The house is on a quiet 8 acre small holding near the beautiful coastline of West Wales. 3 miles to Cardigan and about a 40 minute drive to the Ferry to Ireland at Fishguard. Cardigan has a Aldi and a Tesco. A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. Our local beach is Mwnt, listed as No. 1 in the Daily Mail's list in the Top Ten: Europe's Secret Beaches. You can easily walk to the Ceredigion Coastal Path. There is a small bedroom with 2 single beds, another small one with a double bed, and a larger one with a King Size bed. Two bathrooms (one for exclusive use by guests) and a shower in an outbuilding if you hate baths and want an invigorating experience. We have our own eggs if you like a big breakfast. It is a 15 minute walk to the local bus stops if you are using public transport. In the summer and selected days in the winter there is the Cardi Bach, a small bus that serves the Coastal Path so you only need to walk one way. The Cardi Bach bus stop in Felinwynt is close to our drive. Closest train stations are Carmarthen or Aberystwyth. If you come by bus, happy to pick you up in Cardigan. If you like to cycle, we are on a bike route and plenty of space in the barn to store yourvbike. Plenty of good places to eat nearby and if you are on a tight budget you can cook in the kitchen. If the dates you want are booked, contact us we may have another bedroom available. One of the most popular trips in Cardigan is a boat trip called Bay to Remember-On most trips you will see dolphins, seals and plenty of bird life.
We live in a rural location although there is a convenience shop 2 miles away. You can walk to the coastal path from our house. We live down a drive off a quiet road. It is a quiet location.
  • Fantastic location, beautiful house, lovely people. Will definitely return.

  • Brilliant hospitality from start to finish and the room was excellent. I liked spending time in the cosy kitchen, reading and having a mug of coffee from the new coffee machine. We cooked ourselves a lovely breakfast - they supply the food and you supply the labour. Loved the experience from start to finish, also check out Alex and Renie's holiday let which is superb. We will be back! Andy & Suzi x

  • Alex and Renie provide very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are great and they are very willing to help with information about the local sights to see. The only difficulty we experienced is finding the country site, but Alex is very willing to share good directions for finding the Stone Farmhouse. You will have a good experience if you choose to stay.

Cosy cottage (Pen Lon Las) is part of the east wing of Albro Castle workhouse situated in its own valley overlooking the Teifi Estuary. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path at the end of our lane. Poppit beach is a 15 minutes walk away and the Preseli Mountains a 20 minute drive. St.Dogmaels is a pretty village with a local produce market every Tuesday, brilliantly stocked shop for essentials and the Ferry Inn pub just a 5 minute walk form us.
Pen Lon Las is a one bedroom wing of the “best preserved workhouse in Wales” (National Trust). We have renovated it to be as authentic as possible, changing as little as we can, repairing old doors and windows and exposing old paint colours on parts of the walls giving a deep sense of history and tranquillity. It has its own fully equipped compact kitchen, shower room and toilet, and dining/lounge area with sold fuel stove and double sofa bed. The separate bedroom is simply furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Background heating is provided by storage heaters but lighting the solid fuel stove makes the whole cottage really cosy. Coal and kindling for this fire are provided free of charge which are stored in one of the former Vagrant cells close to the cottage. With care, the stove can be kept alight for your whole stay.
  • The communication and overall impression was first rate

    Tracey2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little place for a couple to stay...and we also brought our dog with us which was a bonus! The cottage has been sympathetically restored, so you can still see remnants of the old plasterwork etc. there is a lot of history to the building. Location wise, it is a 5 minute walk from one of the best pubs in the area which is by the water and serves good food and drink. Also, Poppit sands is a 5 minute drive, and Cardigan around a 10 minute drive. We would happily stay there again!

    Alexandra2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint cottage, just a short walk from the river estuary and village centre. It was a perfect place to get away from it all and a good base to explore the North Pembs coastline. Pete was really quick at getting back to us and made sure we had all the information we needed. Check in and out was simple. Our young terrier came with us and loved the trip.

    Clare2020-02-27T00:00:00Z

    Jo2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, easy to find, friendly host had the fire burning when we arrived so was cosy and warm, 10mins walk to excellent Ferry Inn for lovely meal...

  • Beautiful setting and Cosy cottage! Amazing big dog friendly beach and coastal walks just 5 mins away. Fantastic food and service at the local Pub too!

  • Can’t recommend Albro Castle enough! Such a beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was extremely cosy with the fire going plus the bed was very comfy! Pete was a great host and extremely helpful, the cottage is the perfect gate-away to experience the amazing Pembrokeshire coast and the outstanding Welsh countryside.

    Chloe2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • A completely unique property with a fascinating history , carefully restored with style and care. If you appreciate a serious attempt to preserve a valuable example of Welsh history you will love this place. So many lovely touches, including flowers and fruit when we arrived. Very comfortable with a coal fire and storage heaters that kept the place warm, a lovely refuge after a day’s walking the coast path. Workhouses have a complex history and it is impossible not to imagine the experience of people who lived here more than a century ago, especially the vagrant cells where people broke stones as payment for bread and board. Our host was very helpful and flexible , the cottage is well equipped and furnishings and bedding of lovely quality. I cannot recommend it enough

  • The Dairy was a fabulous stay. Perfect location for exploring the gorgeous Welsh coastline. The cottage was sparkling clean and super warm with all the bits and pieces you need for a self catering stay. The beds were comfy and bathrooms clean with plenty of hot water. The instructions for arrival and the cottage were perfect everything you need to know and all very clear. Definitely do not listen to the sat nav and do follow Shaun’s instructions. There was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee ready to go, perfect after a long drive. Shaun was the perfect host. On hand in an instant to answer any questions but given us plenty of privacy and the cottage space to ourselves. We would most certainly come back here and use as a base to explore the rest of South Wales and the coast.

    Jo2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

Y Caban Pren is located within a six acre property about three miles from Cardigan. It is set in a stunning landscape with far-reaching views. The accommodation is self-contained, and is constructed to a very high standard, with thick insulation, electric heating and double glazing to all rooms. Much of the hot water is solar heated. It is comfortably fitted out with neutral colours, and the kitchen area is well equipped, with fridge. Outside, there is a decking area with table and chairs.
Y Caban Pren is situated within the grounds of a beautiful and peaceful six acre property called Waun Lle. There are panoramic views across to the Preseli Hills and around to Cardigan Bay. It is an ideal location for a quiet and relaxing break, away from it all but with easy driving access to Cardigan and the coast.
The property is about three miles from Cardigan, and is situated just off a lane which adjoins the A487, giving easy access north towards Aberystwyth and south to Cardigan and onwards into Pembrokeshire. Cardigan is a vibrant small town with two supermarkets and a good range of independent shops and eating places. Access is easy to many beautiful beaches, with Mwnt being the nearest.
  • We highly recommend Melanie's place. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Cozy and roomy. Perfect for a few days away. Close to some idyllic beaches at Mwnt, Aberporth and Tresaith. Just a few minutes away from Cardigan, with a large supermarket and local shops etc.

Bed and breakfast at our farmhouse is over 200 years old.
Cardigan has a Aldi, a Tesco, and Co-op supermarket A few miles to 6 beautiful sand beaches, two that are National Trust. If we are able, we will cook you breakfast or we will supply the breakfast goodies and you can prepare your own breakfast at a time that suits you.
You can walk to the coastal path from our house though it is easier to drive to the access path by the national Trust Waterwheel.

  • Idylic old hidden away farmhouse setting in a beautiful part of Wales. Quiet and relaxed with that air of traquility. Far enough from everything but not too far away to be inconvenient. Beach, shops and restaurants all 10mins away. An amaxing place to stay.

    Stephen2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Renie are wonderful hosts, they made me feel completely at home. The farmhouse is just as described, nestled in the countryside but driving distance to a good sized town. It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided was excellent. I would definitely recommend this amazing value stay. And don't miss out on dinner at El Salsa!

  • Close proximity to Cardigan, shops, beaches, coastal path and not far to drive to other parts of Wales. Alex and Renie are very friendly and helpful hosts and welcome you into their home and have plenty of helpful advice of places to visit in the area. Fresh eggs for breakfast; comfortable beds; lovely areas around the house to relax; parking close by; great views. We really enjoyed our 5 days here and loved coming back at the end of our day’s exploring. Would recommend Alex & Renie’s Airbnb to anyone who wanted a home away from home.

5 miles from the west coast of Wales with its lovely sandy beaches, Porth Fach is in the heart of Brongest village/hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside. Formerly a barn, then post office, the property has been recently converted into a stylish and comfortable single story stone cottage.
The cottage was originally a barn. Many of the homes in the village are converted farm building as Brongest was and is a strong farming community. The cottage comprises of a kitchen, a toilet and separate shower room as well as the living and dining room area and bedroom. There is extra sleeping accommodation in the form of a sofa-bed (1.2m wide). The south facing private garden has a parking space to the side and the cottage has its own private entrance. We are dog lovers and welcome 1 well behaved dog, but please be aware that our hens have a run connected to the garden of the cottage.
We are perfectly positions to enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside and there are delightful woodland walks on the doorstep. Quiet and activity beaches, dolphin watching and coastal path walking are all close by. The National Trust beach, Penbryn is our closest beach where you can also enjoy an ice cream or lunch at the Plwmp Tart beach cafe. Newcastle Emlyn is only 4 miles away and has a variety of shops and supermarkets as well as the castle ruins, theatre and leisure centre with swimming pool. We recommend the Riverside cafe for its excellent vegetarian and vegan menu. The lovely historic town of Aberteifi (Cardigan) is only 9 miles away.
  • Porth Fach is a outstanding property. Fantastic accommodation. Decor and attention to detail to our taste. Very comfortable and peaceful location. Excellent value for money. Wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend. A beautiful area with lots of fantastic coastline to visit nearby.

    Gilly2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We have had an amazing stay at Wendy (and Andy's) house. The extensive views from the lounge across the bay and along the coast are breathtaking and would be spectacular in any season. The open plan living area layout works really well, its spacious, very comfy and has been well thought out. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and there are 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite, all decorated to a very high standard. There is a lovely private outside space too with seating and views of the sea, and new for this year is a decked area with a private summer house and bbq which we made the most of! Its a 10-15 minute walk downhill to the local sandy beach, which is great for families - the water is shallow for swimming (there is a lifeguard too), and there are rocks and pools for crabbing - we were even lucky enough to spot dophins from the cafe by the beach! What really helped make our stay special was outstanding, friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Wendy went above and beyond, including storing our bikes in her garage, helping us plan a family cycle, sharing lots of local knowledge, wine on arrival and even inviting our daughter to help exercise her (very friendly) dogs over their dog agility course (which our daughter is still talking about!). We felt very welcome and would love to come back for our summer holiday next year and stay for longer next time! Our favourite Airbnb so far and lots of memories made:-) A big thank you!

  • Barbara and Steve were great, delightful and very gracious and accommodating hosts. They are situated in a beautiful rural coastal area which was easy to find with their directions and our granddaughters knowledge of her iPhone travel instructions. They greeted us and showed us to our upstairs private quarters, after which we sat down to a cup of tea and an intro type visit. Steve and Barbara gave us information on dining choices and we were happy with our choice for dinner at the pub on the corner of their road, and yes, very close indeed. Steve also told us about nearby points of interest. In the morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and we absolutely fell in love with Barbara’s homemade jelly. They were also sensitive to my husbands dietary needs. They also remembered that our grand daughter was celebrating her birthday on the day of our departure so she was gifted a birthday greeting card. We enjoyed our stay with Barbara, Steve and sweet Ted to pet. We thank them all.

  • Very welcoming and a lovely room with en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed their company very much - and Barbara very kindly made us supper too (having turned up on a Sunday with pubs not serving food) - and it was a fabulous supper too; much better than the pub would have been! Lovely walk from the B&B back to the coast too. Many thanks

  • What a wonderful little place! Emma and her husband really have gone above and beyond with small, important touches that a lot of other hosts don't do. I wish all Airbnb hosts were like Emma. Thanks for a great stay!

    Luke2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We have just been to stay at Emma's place and it was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish the stay was perfect, we only stayed for the one night but instantly regretted it when we arrived, we should have definitely booked longer. The room was sparkling and homely. Tea and coffee provided on arrival and the tv has netflix, youtube and other apps. Sitting in the hot tub with my partner at 8pm with a glass of gin looking at the stars was priceless, so relaxing! Emma's home and gardens are beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Added bonus of breakfast was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much for being the best host! We're going to tell all our friends about this trip.

  • I recently stayed here with my boyfriend as an early birthday getaway and I can not recommend Emma’s place enough! Emma goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a relaxing, happy stay. The breakfast each morning was a lovely touch and was delicious! Emma is a very helpful host and responds quickly to any messages. The space itself is sparkling clean, and the hot tub is an amazing bonus. Lovely way to switch off and relax! Would 100% recommend staying here and we will be returning if in the area in the future. Thank you Emma!

  • Really beautiful apartment and so close to the sea...even closer than it looks on the pictures! Literally a one or two minute walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you could ever wish for. We stayed for a short break but already cant wait to go back. Perfect location for the coastal path too. I would highly recommend this apartment!

  • Fabulous location - just a short stroll to both beaches and local amenities such as cafe, fish & chips / ice cream shop, and pub. Very thankful for the private parking space which is a must in Aberporth as the public car parks are always very busy. The apartment was spacious and modern, with a fully equipped kitchen, bath as well as shower, and a range of apps on the TV such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Nicola was super helpful and responsive to messages. All in all a great stay, thank you :)

    Emily2019-08-31T00:00:00Z

    Matt2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely pod with an amazing view! We took our 13 week old baby and there was still enough space with her things. Unfortunately the weekend we went we had awful weather, but the pod's so cosy it made it more enjoyable hearing the wind and rain from our comfort. It's located right on the coast path so we walked to Tresaith for lunch. Would love to stay there again

    Debbie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Booked this place for my parents anniversary, they absolutely loved it. They said it was so peaceful and cosy especially on a rainy night! Waking up to the view of the beach really topped it off for them

    Emma2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous location, lovely accommodation. We loved it.

    Gwen2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a phenomenal place!! I’m torn between giving it an amazing review so you all visit it and telling you it’s ‘ok’ so I can keep it all to myself!! But it’s so wonderful I just have to sing its praises. The ‘pod’ is amazing and so well-appointed - it has everything you need and more. One night it was squally outside but we were warm and secure inside. The next morning it was a total joy to open the blinds to immediately see the sea. Jess and Gethin were on had if you needed anything but actually all our needs were already met so we only saw them to say hello and chat. Seriously fabulous accommodation in a seriously fabulous place. We’ll be back!!!!!!

    Martha2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay in the glamping pod. It's just everything you need for a getaway! High quality finished interior and fully equipped lil kitchen area! Thanks to suggestions we enjoyed some lovely food at The Ship, Cwtch Cafe and The Boy Ashore. We took a stroll to Tresaith beach which had beautiful coastal views. It also has a lovely outside area where you can enjoy the peace, staring out at the sea views. We definitely recommend this pod and would love to make a return visit ourselves!

    Jennifer2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a lovely stay. Shame about the weather but beautiful location! The place was immaculate and had everything we needed. Very cosy and cute for a weekend away!

    Jess2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We have just got back from a 3 night stay here which quickly turned into 4 nights as we didn't want to leave! The pod is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need, including utterly stunning views. Gethin and Jess were fantastic hosts! We will definitely be visiting again.

  • Fantastic location and great accommodation!

    Sam2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely few days exploring the coastal paths, beaches and gazing at views. To come back to such a unique, charming and cosy train carriage each evening was amazing and a real treat. The decor, GWR posters and signage, oak panelling etc all lend themselves to creating a beautiful atmosphere and capturing the mood of a bygone era; we loved spending evenings sitting by the log burner whilst the wind blew outside and played games or just took in the views. The carriage has everything you need including a very well equipped kitchen. We had an amazing break and will definitely return, thank you!

  • A special place frankly I’d like to keep to myself! The history, the location, the coziness, the cleanliness, a perfect getaway.

    Jane2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This airbnb was amazing - we'd walked past it the year before on the coast path and wondered what it would be like inside, and it didn't disappoint. It was decorated for Christmas with gorgeous fairy lights, and though we were there in a force 9 gale, it was lovely and toasty. We hope to come back!

    Shiona2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation oozes character and charm. So snug for a winter trip and you can open it up for the summer too. The surrounding areas are knockout stunning - beaches and countryside to die for. So much to see and the locals are unbelievably friendly. We left feeling uplifted and renewed. Tip : head to marloes beach if you have time - at low tide to get the most from it. Make sure you walk and explore whatever the weather, you’ll be glad you did.

    Bryn2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible place with outstanding views. Very friendly people and although we didn’t get to see any dolphins we did see a pilot whale right outside by the rocks. Highly recommend to go and unwind.

  • An amazing location and unique, charming and cosy train carriage. We saw dolphins swim right by and we sat and looked at the view for hours. Great, child-friendly beaches close by. Hardly used the car. We can't wait to come back.

My place is close to the beach, family-friendly activities, pubs, restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location and the ambience. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
Our place is a newly renovated Edwardian bungalow, overlooking the beach at Tresaith, just a three minute walk from the sea front. The living space includes an open plan living room with kitchen/diner and level access to the decking, suspended above the garden. The decking has a table and chairs plus a barbecue for Guests to use. There are two double ensuite bedrooms with french doors and sea views, and a third bedroom, also with sea views, which can be configured as 2-4 single beds, or just a double, or a double with 1 single. There is also a main bathroom plus a utility room with Washer and Dryer.
Tresaith is a beautiful unspoilt village on the Ceredigion coastline, with its own beach. The village has a good pub/restaurant, and there are cliff paths leading both North and South on the Ceredigion Coast path, so it's ideal for walkers. The pretty villages and beaches of Penbryn and Llangranog are also close, and with Aberporth and Mwnt to the south there is plenty of beautiful coastline to explore. We have produced our own guide with directions to the house and highlights of the area using our local knowledge, and this is emailed to guests before their stay.

  • The perfect spot for some relaxation by the sea, surrounded by beautiful beaches and great views from throughout the house. Al was a great host and accommodated our late booking. We hope to be back soon!

  • Our second stay at this stunning property, perched on a hill overlooking Tresaith and the beach. The house itself is in a great location, with ample on site parking. On both our stays the house has been immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, including microwave and dishwasher, so dining in is very do’able. All on one floor, the 3 bedrooms offer a modern, cosy stay, with modern bathroom, plus two en suite bathrooms. It offers us a ‘grand design’ getaway which suits our family and the dining area, with large table means we can eat and socialise comfortably. There’s plenty to do around the area but we like nothing more than to relax and look out to sea. Thanks to Al for another enjoyable stay. One day we might actually spot a dolphin!

    Caroline2019-12-02T00:00:00Z

*CLOSED* The Cwtch At Caerwedros is situated in a tiny rural village between the popular beaches of Llangrannog and New Quay, just 2 miles from the smugglers' cove of Cwmtydu. The Cwtch is equally suitable for couples looking for a romantic bolthole or the single traveller looking for a cosy space of their own. Walk straight from the door through wooded valleys to the coastal path, then warm your toes in front of the woodburner and sink into the super cosy bed upon your return. Dogs welcome!
The Cwtch is a simple cosy base for walkers, cyclists or anyone who wants to investigate the amazing Ceredigion coastline. My favourite translation of the uniquely Welsh word "Cwtch" is "A warm affectionate hug, cuddle or snuggle that gives a feeling of a safe place or home". This is what The Cwtch offers - whatever the weather! You'll find a comfy Victorian iron & brass double bed, crisp white bed linen, upcycled vintage furniture, a romantic woodburning stove, plus facilities for making tea & toast, a microwave for heating food and a small fridge/freezer. There is an en-suite shower, loo and hand basin with hot and cold running water. Logs and kindling is provided for every night booked; more can be bought locally as you require. Initial milk, tea, coffee and sugar are provided for your use. Bed linen supplied (high quality white cotton, feather duvet), 1 bath towel provided per guest, plus hand towel and tea towel. Please bring your own beach towels. Well-behaved pets are welcome; we have young cats who do not appreciate being chased :)
Caerwedros is a tiny rural village near to the historic smugglers' cove at Cwmtydu, where seals give birth to their pups in the autumn. Walk to the heritage coast via the numerous footpaths, or visit local coastal villages New Quay, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth. About 40 mins drive from Aberystwyth and Carmarthen, about 25 mins drive from Cardigan. We are close enough to the many fantastic beaches for guests to easily enjoy swimming, surfing or simply feeling the sand under your toes, yet not in one of the bustling beach villages which can get very busy during the high season. We are close to the sea and coastal path (less than 2 miles), with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. There is a wide range of local wildlife including seals and dolphins (seals pup on local beaches in the Autumn), so don't forget your binoculars! The cafe at Cwmtydu does a great bacon roll for elevensies to get you fuelled up for the day, but check with us that it is open outside the holiday seasons. Walkers can see all of the beautiful Ceredigion coastline, as we are perfectly placed midway on the sweep of Cardigan Bay. Amazing views right up to the Llyn Peninsula, and South to Cardigan Island. We are just a short drive from the stunning beaches of Tresaith, Mwnt, Aberporth and Poppit Sands. Clear, dark skies allow you to enjoy stargazing with no local light pollution - we regularly see the Milky Way. Fantastic walking, kayaking, surfing and mountain biking are all on our doorstep. If you are a National Trust member remember to bring your membership card to enable free parking at Penbryn and Mwnt beaches. The kayaking and slalom centre at Llandysul is a 20 minute drive away. Our local pub is just a 20 minute stroll from The Cwtch, and there is a wide choice of places to eat locally including traditional breakfasts, brunches, fish and chips, ice creams and coffee on the beach at Llangrannog and New Quay. Alternatively try pub grub at many of the numerous places we can recommend, many of which are dog friendly. Good restaurants are also plentiful. Local shops are a short drive away for any essential items. Browse the antique, craft and coffee shops in the friendly little town of Newcastle Emlyn, about 20 minutes drive from us, or visit the University town of Aberystwyth for the day for a large selection of independent and high street shops. Get a feel for everything going on around us at TheCwtchAtCaerwedros.
  • Wonderful two nights getting away from it all, wondering around the nearby costal towns. Completely fell in love with the area and had such a lovely time at the Cwtch! Thank you for having us

    Jodie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Beautiful countryside surroundings and only a short drive to some stunning beaches. Everything you need is there from logs to light the fire when you arrive to cereal and fresh bread for breakfast in the morning. If we’re ever coming back to the area we will look to stay here again.

    Lucy2019-05-26T00:00:00Z

  • my partner and I had a really great time staying at Sarah's tiny house. the entire house was sparkling clean, the bed was comfortable and with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. they even provided breakfast items such as milk, yoghurt, jams, homemade bread and cakes! we were also very pleased to notice that everything was plastic free :D they even provided a folder with all the useful information, from local walks to menus of local pubs and restaurants and much more. a final great touch were the bird feeders in the garden just outside our front door, which allowed us to spot blue tits, sparrows and other birds. we could not have had a better time!

    Anny2019-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay. Small but perfectly formed place to stay. Lots of nice touches and a lovely part of the world. Communication from the host was excellent. Thank you!

  • This was perfect for our first trip away with our young dog. Close to dog friendly beaches with lots of walks and Sarah and Justin were lovely and welcoming. Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

  • Would highly recommend The Cwtch, we felt we were the first to stay there as everything was so clean and in tip-top condition. We arrived in pouring rain, but the easy to light wood burner soon warmed us up and the fairy lights set the cosy ambience in this gorgeous country garden setting. We felt very welcome by the delicious homemade treats, which we greatly appreciated. The next few days were sunny and bright, we loved waking up to see the garden birds on the feeders just outside the door and were placed perfectly to explore the area: Kim Stoddart's 'Green Rocket' gardening courses just down the road at her smallholding, enjoyed the scenic sea view road trip up to The Centre for Alternative Technology, delicious pizza overlooking the sea at Penlon Brewery in New Quay and finally Kenfig Nature Reserve for a beautiful walk by the sea, amongst the skylarks on our way home.

A riverside haven, with unsurpassable views of the Teifi, ideal for walkers on the nearby beach & coastal path, kayak paddlers and RHIB boating (all available on site), or just plain sun bathing and paddling, before enjoying a meal in a local pub (nearest is just next door-but-one)
Not only is Jonathan a unique riverside location on the Teifi, with its own deck and jetty, but use of up to x3 river kayaks and/or my inflatable RHIB boat are all included (at no extra charge). The large and pleasant beach called Poppit in the Pembs Coast National Park, is just a couple of miles down the road, & marks the start of the award winning National Pembs Coastal Path. This part of the world is blessed also with many sites of local interest from medieval castle to wildlife sanctuaries; and there are many local pubs and restaurants to choose from for both lunch and the evenings. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and all kitchen utensils, breadboard, knives, grater, saucepans, etc. Everything you need for self-catering.
The riverside village of St Dogmaels is on the northern border of Pembrokeshire, formed by the River Tivy (Teifi) close to the market town of Cardigan. St Dogmaels is significant because the Pembrokeshire coast path starts or finishes here, depending on which way you're walking it. The village has three main attractions all in close proximity to each other: St Dogmaels Abbey, The Coach House (St Dogmaels Heritage Centre) and Y Felin Water Mill.

  • Robbie is a very helpful and welcoming host. The accommodation is comfortable and is in a wonderful location next to the river. We particularly enjoyed waking up to the views and heading out on the kayaks. I'm sure we will be back soon!

  • The accomodation is simple, nothing special, and nothing wrong with it - but the location, and stunning views from big rooms across the estuary, made it a real gem. Robbie is helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The Ferry Inn pub/restaurant two doors down is excellent

    Dave2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Robbie is a mine of useful local information, take the time to ask him about about the area.

    Rich2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a fab little place! We enjoyed being right on the estuary (& next door to the pub!) Both Poppit & Cardigan are close by. Perfect for us. Robbie was friendly & helpful & we'd like to return.

  • Very nice place to stay with a gorgeous view of the river

    Jamie2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • We received a lovely warm friendly and informative welcome off our host. Robbie gave us a good tour of the property to show us how everything worked and gave us lots of useful tips on the local area and the local amenities on offer. The views from lower Jon of the River Teifi were truly spectacular. It was a privilege to wake up and look out directly onto such a beautiful view of the estuary. Ideal location if you are intending going into the town of Cardigan or going to the beach at Poppit sands as both are within walking distance. Lovely comfortable king size bed for a great nights sleep. Enjoyed a really relaxing and tranquil 2 nights, Thank you Robbie

Cardigan is approximately 6 miles, Aberporth beach is approximately 1.5 miles, Aberystwyth is approximately 40 miles as Carmarthen. A very central location to explore the beautiful west wales area and what it has to offer.
  • Sharon's place is ideal for couples and small families, with or without a dog. Sharon greeted us on arrival and gave much appreciated tips on the local area. The kitchen area is a great size, with all ameneties necessary. The living area was cosy, especially when the woodburner gets going. Bathroom was spotless and included any toiletries you may have forgotten. The garden was spacious and idel for our little dog to run around in. The decking area with the hot tub was perfect for a relaxing evening, with an added touch of a changing room next to it. Both bedrooms were good sizes, and had extra touches of mini chocolates. The bed was comfy and we had a great nights sleep. All in all the whole accommodation was spotlessly clean and everything felt and smelt fresh. Sharon was a wonderful host and was very accommodating during our stay. We definitely recommend Sharon's place to any couples and small families who are looking for some time away in West Wales.

  • We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. The hosts Sharon and Charlie were fantastic from the start to finish and made us feel so welcome! The cottage is perfect to relax in after a long day walking the coast path- the woodburner and hot tub are simply perfect. We will definitely stay here again and cannot recommend this peaceful countryside escape enough.

  • We have just returned from a great weekend at this beautiful cottage. Sharon and Charlie are great hosts and it was lovely to chat to them as they showed us around. They are really helpful and informative. The cottage is super clean and cosy and the bed was really comfortable. The hot tub and bbq are fantastic! We never expected to be able to bbq in January! I loved the thoughtful touches of mini bottles of wine, chocolates on the pillows and robes and slippers for when you get out of the hot tub! The hosts have really thought of everything. We were sat in the hot tub late Saturday evening and all we could hear were some sheep and the odd hoot from an owl. It was absolute bliss! I can’t recommend this place enough for a peaceful weekend away.

    Kelly2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Huge thank you to Sharon and Charlie, for a fabulous weekend. such lovely, welcoming, kind people. Nothing was to much trouble. They showed us around the cottage, offered to help with the BBQ if we needed help. Recommended places for us. They stopped to say hello when we seen them. The cottage was attached to the farm house but you really dont know that there are people next door. Massively recommend the cottage and the facilities are outstanding. The whole place is spotless including the outside areas. The area that the cottage is situated is beautiful. We went for a lovely walk along the coastal park from Aberporth beach along the cliff top. 100% recommend this cottage and their wonderful hosts.

    Rebecca2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sharon and Charlie are wonderful hosts, they made us feel very much at home and provided us with lots of information about the area (things to do, places to eat, etc.). The hot tub and BBQ was exceptional, we had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. The house is clean and comfortable and there are lots of lovely touches (chocolates on the pillow, for example). I would highly recommend staying here, we had a lovely time.

    Katherine2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing get away! This property has the perfect combination of privacy and close to a local shop & beach. Complimentary robe for going to the hot tub as well as a unique BBQ hut, we stayed out there for hours at the beginning of Jan... Very cosy!😁 We we're met by Charlie very friendly & shown around so e knew exactly how to work everything. Perfect!

    Nicola2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Where to start...the cottage is lovely, the pictures don't do it justice, it is so cosy! The place was immaculate and had such great additions such as the log burner, hot tub and grill 'shed' which were even better than we expected. The surrounding area is beautiful and easy to get to the nearby towns where the amenities are plentiful. Sharon and Charlie were wonderful hosts, they couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating! We are already planning our next visit and have passed on the details to friends which will definitely be visiting this place too.

    Elisabeth2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • I can’t recommend our stay at Sharon and Charlie’s cottage highly enough. I was treating my boyfriend for a weekend away for his birthday (but was a trip away at the beach for the dog really). The photos and description of the property and amenities were spot on and definitely lived up to expectation. We weren’t off to a great start when we were caught up in awful traffic but the communication from Sharon was great and they stayed to check us in and talk us through how to use everything, inform us on the good takeaways in the area, and how to get to the beach 👍🏻. The hot tub was definitely the icing on the cake after a cold wet trek along the coastal trail. Will definitely be back again but hopefully for a longer stay.

  • Excellent location with outstanding views!

    Daniel2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely gorgeous location. The Welsh winds and rain raged outside, but once we got the fire going, it was cosy inside. Nici was helpful and easy to contact by text.

    Jenn2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was as romantic and magical as we had hoped it to be. We absolutely loved the accommodation and the position it was in, honestly you couldn’t wish for more. Gwen met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, she gave us some recommendations for places to eat and beaches to walk on. We loved the rustickness of the décor, the log fire was a real treat and to sink into the hot tub and hear the water from the river and watch the wildlife all around you was just breath-taking. A perfect place to relax and recoup, I would highly recommend a stay here and if you’re a wildlife fan then you couldn’t position yourself in any better place. We saw Otters in the morning bathing, a fox that liked to come and explore Infront of you, squirrels, Herons, buzzards and lots lots more. Thank you for a truly magical & memorable stay.

  • Lovely cottage with amazing views!

    Laura2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful stay here. We were looking for a weekend getaway with our dog, somewhere quiet and out of the way, but still somewhere close by to walking trails, beaches, and shops. This cottage checked every single box. The hot tub was so relaxing, the view was incredible, and it was surprisingly close to plenty of shops. We felt totally removed from the hustle and bustle, but we were only a quick drive from everywhere we needed to go. The cottage itself is well equipped to cook full meals, and was cosy by the TV for the evenings. The view of the river was amazing, and our dog loved exploring the yard. Nici was so quick to reply to any questions I had, the communication was really great. We will definitely be coming back :)

    Emma2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here for a long weekend in September. The views are fantastic, you can sit outside and watch the tide come in and out with swans, geese, herons and ducks filling the shores. The Hot Tub is perfect for relaxing in and watching the stars, you don’t feel at all overlooked, you could be miles from anywhere. The animals on the farm, namely Chief the dog and Lucy and Dylan the Goats wander round and nap in the sun. We loved them and felt very honoured when they would wander down to our cottage for a visit. We met Gwen who was on hand to offer lots of local knowledge, she’s lovely and made us feel very welcome. There is a local dog friendly sandy beach about 5 mins drive from the house which was great for a sunny afternoon. We had a great weekend and would definitely go back.

  • This is truly a diamond in the Airbnb rough! Most places advertised oversell their space, this place is probably undersold. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and a hot tub overlooking it all. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay, you honestly won't regret coming here.

    James2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really wonderful! The last footage next to the river with unspoilt views and free access down the the river. Relaxing hot tub and so much wildlife to enjoy. There are a few nature reserves neat by too. Super hosts and a very friendly welcome. We'll hopefully return again!!

A self-contained cottage, part of a larger 3 part countryhouse set in a secluded location on a hill above the picturesque village of St Dogmaels. Guests have the entire cottage adjoining our own for their own use with all amenities, fully self catering and a private entrance with own door key. Table tennis room and badminton included here too. 2.5 miles (7 MINS BY CAR) to the sea / beach / coast paths.
A very calm and peaceful little valley with several footpaths through small virgin woodlands and sleepy country lanes meandering through grassy fields. Wake up in the morning to total silence, except for the sound of the birds all around. There is a badminton / volleyball net with rackets etc and also an indoor table tennis table with bats and balls which is all available free for guest use! The tap water supply is from a deep spring under the hill (hundreds of years old) and was considered a special spring source by the local monks of the abbey nearby. The views from the windows are of nature (trees and fields) - giving a real sense of being surrounded by nature. Please note: the price does not include use of electric storage heaters (£5 extra per night) or price of logs for the woodburner (£5 per basket).
Our valley is quiet and the lane is not used as a through road so very few cars. There are a handful of other houses up and down the valley, but all very quiet and peaceful. This village is one of the safest places in Britain and is peaceful as well as idyllic.
  • This is great value accommodation in a peaceful location in an absolutely beautiful part of the world! It isn’t a hotel experience (e.g. towel and linens are well-worn and not matching) but it has an exceptionally comfortable reclining sofa, lovely new carpets, and once the new wood burner is installed the living area will be really cosy. We really enjoyed exploring the wonderful beaches nearby (Poppit Sands and Newport, but there are many more), eating traditional cawl soup in the Coach House cafe and wandering around Cardigan town. Seth is a really nice and helpful guy too.

    Amy2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very quiet place, alot bigger than it looks on the photos. You need to follow the directions given as it is a little out of the way but certainly worth staying here.

    Dylan2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house was larger than expected in a pleasant, quiet area. Seth gave plenty of advice on local attractions and there's plenty to do nearby. Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend to all.

    Andrew2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a real gem. Seth greeted me on arrival and shared some great local knowledge which led to a lovely Indian meal. The house was immaculate and had everything I could ask for and more. Exceeded my expections, I will definitely stay again. Thank you Seth

  • If you are looking for an amazing place in a rural setting which is also at the same time not too far away from shops, bars & restaurants, sandy beach and incredible host then your search ends here. This is the place not to be missed especially for a family. There are so many things to do around this place. Property is nicely maintained, has everything required in a holiday home. Free WiFi is like a cherry on a cake. We enjoyed our time at this property. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic family time.

    Pawan2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • First and foremost, this place is an absolute bargain! I couldn't believe the size of the cottage when we arrived for the price! Seth has obviously worked really hard to make this place homely, cosy and clean and tidy. Seth was an excellent host, we booked this last minute and with it being the first time I've ever used airbnb, I was so impressed with how quick he got back to me. Seth was more than welcoming and willing to help out and even offered to buy in milk and bread for our arrival. He made us feel very welcome and at home, not having a problem with us moving the sofas around to our liking and providing cereals, homemade jams and homegrown apples - which were delicious! As well as providing us with an iron and board upon a last minute request. Seth really knows the surrounding areas well and gave us some really great tips and places to go and see. We are keen walkers and like to go places where there aren't many people, Seth suggested several coastal paths and beaches which were away from tourism and absolutely breathtaking. All in all we couldn't have been happier with our stay here and will definitely be coming back soon!! If you are looking for a getaway into the quiet country this is definitely the place to book! Cheers again Seth and we will see you soon!!!

If the weather is bad it's the ideal option to enjoy camping without worrying about keeping dry. Insulated to keep you cosy warm on the cool night and cool on the warm days the pod is the ideal step up from camping.
The pod is great for those who are after a cheap getaway and like the idea of camping without the hassle of a tent. Just turn up with all the gear you have for camping, minus the tent, and enjoy a great glamping experience. It comfortably sleeps a family of 4 with 2 pull-out 'bunk' beds (8-12yrs) and a floor area large enough for a double blow up bed (AIR BED NOT PROVIDED). It is fully insulated and has double glazed windows to keep it cosy warm year round. The facilities on the campsite are all available and completely free for use. The pod is located in the top corner of our secluded campsite in this beautiful part of west wales. Facing westward it looks out of the sea. There is parking space for one car next to the pod.
We live in a beautiful rural location that is largely unspoilt. With farmland all around. We have Mountain views to the north on a clear day and a stunning coast line. The Ceredigion Coastal path is only 2 fields away. So if you want peace and quiet and tranquility this is a place you should consider! Most amenities are reasonably close within New Quay. There's a great Pub at the end of the lane doing lovely food at good prices, in a great atmosphere, worth a visit!
  • Great place to stay. Large glamping pod with all the necessities! We stayed over new year and was kept warm and enjoyed every minute. Toilet/Showers are kept clean and tidy!

  • This cottage is fantastic for a family holiday! It's a great size with 3 large bedrooms, two living areas and a large kitchen. There's also a boot room and utility space. The garden is the best thing, it's so large and such an asset. The owner provides all the necessities you want from a family home, the kitchen is well equipment with cooking essentials and there's a lovely welcome pack on your arrival. The cottage is placed on the main road down to the beach, about a 10 minute walk down, but there is no path to start with so the owner suggested to us to drive down a little where there is a usually empty and free car park and then an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. This option suited us with little children. Aberporth itself is a lovely place with two beaches, very family friendly. Overall we had an amazing stay at this cottage and will certainly return. If you have any questions do contact the owner she is very responsive and helpful.

Very close to our house... - Historic St Dogmaels abbey is a lovely place for a picnic. - Impressive Cilgerran castle is a must-see with lovely views and medieval clothes for your kids to dress up in. Poppit sands beach is ideal for kids and only 6 minutes by car from us. - St Dogmaels local producers market is every Tuesday next to the water-mill. - You can go bird-watching or canoeing at the idyllic river Teifi at Cardigan Wildlife centre - a great place for kids too. There is even a secret little road-free wooded valley adjacent to ours, filled with wild animals, unique plants/flowers and a bubbling brook. The path starts 200m behind out house.
  • We took two rooms in Seth’s house as opposed to the holiday cottages so this review doesn’t relate to those. If it’s glitz and glamour you are after then this may not be for you. However, if you want to lower your blood pressure then this is a must - it should be prescribed on the NHS! If you want total peace and tranquility, complete silence at night, no light or noise pollution and access to walks through woodland and along the Teifi estuary then don’t miss the opportunity to stay here. This is the only Air BnB I’ve stayed in where you are encouraged to help yourselves to breakfast cereal and tea and coffee is left out for you to help yourselves. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are over that way.

  • Seth was an awesome Host! He went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay! I would most certainly recommend Seth’s place to anyone staying in that area! I loved the location of his home in the country setting!

  • Seth is an excellent host. He looked after us well. He responds quickly to any query. Property is very well kept and maintained. Peaceful neighbourhood. It’s very tidy and clean and has all the essentials you need for every day life. It actually looks much nicer in reality then pictures. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if come back to Wales. Beautiful part of country and lot to explore.

  • I booked Seth’s place for my mum and sister and they loved it. They said Seth was a fantastic host and very easy to get on with. A lovely home and with beautiful beaches nearby. Thank you!

  • Seth went above and beyond as a host. We actually owe our life to Seth. Our car got stuck on the road and he went out of his way to help us out of our jam! Great communicator and a great guy. Arthur is awesome too.

  • Good , clean accommodation in a fantastic location in a stunning part of Wakes. Seth has great local advice to offer, was very helpful but was also very discreet. You won’t get a quieter nights sleep than here!
