We are within driving distance of the Mohonk Mountain House, Minnewaska, Catskill Mountains, and a 2 hour drive from Manhattan. For winter enthusiasts there’s places to snowshoe, ski, and hike 20-60 minutes away.

Nature Lover’s Hidden Gem in the Catskills

Cozy guest cottage in the woods with great access to some of the best hiking, biking, fishing, swimming that NY has to offer. Wake up early to see deer having breakfast as the early morning light shines in through the south-facing windows. Keep an eye out for bluejays, cardinals, and other wildlife while enjoying a beer and grilling some dinner out back. Listen closely as you fall asleep, and you might even hear the family of barred owls that live in the trees at the edge of the property.

Blue Haven in the Catskills

We built a studio-house on the foundation of an old summer cottage. We did not expand the footprint, but furnished it with select pieces and appliances and gave it contemporary finishes. We also added a screened porch, open deck and stone patio. The woodland and mountain views are lovely, while the location is convenient to Lake Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. Ulster County levies a 2% tax on overnight stays. Payment is made anytime between confirmation and arrival.

The Metsämökki - A Finnish Cabin in the Woods

The Metsämökki is a small Finnish cabin in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Originally a sauna that was shipped here from Finland. We renovated it to a tiny house that offers complete privacy. Enjoy the babbling brook while sitting on the deck and taking in the surrounding nature. Black Olive Cabin in the Woods - Secluded, Tiny

The cabin is nestled into a mossy rock ledge covered with ferns in a secluded part of the Catskills just south of the Ashokan Reservoir. Constructed of large reclaimed hemlock beams and charred cedar siding on the outside, the cabin mixes the old with the new. The open concept design includes high ceilings, hardwood floors, a wood stove, lofted sleeping quarters, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with an induction cooktop and convection oven. It's the perfect weekend getaway.
