  • This is our second stay at Glenora house and once again it did not disappoint. Last stay was thanksgiving and this stay is March break week. The house is clean well stocked and spacious . The views were absolutely stunning again. With everything going on in the world right now , this little getaway was exactly what we needed !! We already can’t wait to book our next family trip. Our kids will have memories for a lifetime playing with their cousins, running down the front hill, skipping stones in the water , and playing board games etc . We can’t say enough good things !

  • Lovely place. We were there in March so it was chilly outside but the views from the house were incredible and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The place was spotless! I’d come back in a heartbeat.

  • Awesome place, just as described and perfectly clean. Great place for ice fishing and Ricardo’s boat lunch was perfect to access the water with the ATV. Kitchen was well equipped, and the entire place felt like home! I would recommend this place to anyone!

  • Great house, exactly as described! You wont be dissppointed. Area was awesome with the local wineries and the free ferry 1 min down the road!

    Kathryn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the layout, it was perfect for spending time together with friends. Clean, bright and cheery with lots of windows and a beautiful view. Ricardo was a very responsive host with good communication. Would definitely come back again!

  • Nice place to stay with friends and family. We really enjoyed our stay. Ricardo was very accommodating. :)

    Marco2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for the last weekend in January for a girls week-end and absolutely loved our time here. There were 5 ladies and there was more than enough beds and space for everyone. Napanee is a short drive away and the lovely shops were wonderful, as was the meditation studio. The ferry was minutes away and took us across to Picton. I would definitely stay here again. Ricardo provided very clear instructions to help with everything you may require during your stay and was very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend the Glenora House.

    Julie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Ricardo for being such a great host ! Your place location is amazing, extremely clean , spacious and well furnished... This cottage has exceeded our expectations in too many ways . We were very impressed how much attention Ricardo gave to this place as well as the amazing communicating with him . My family and I will be booking back for sure and yes it’s worth 3 hours drive from Mississauga ! Thank you Ricardo and happy new year . Well done

  • This place was was a great find. Located just off of Picton's main strip, it made trips to town easy, as well as day trips anywhere else in the county. The rental is cozy but had enough space for 4 of us (2 adults, toddler, baby). This rental is completely freestanding, providing true privacy. With a full kitchen, bath, and living room, it was a comfortable place to hang out, cook, and enjoy. Scott was very communicative, stopped in to make sure we were settling in once we checked in, provided tips on the area when asked, and was polite and professional, yet very friendly. I would definitely rent this Airbnb again!

    Graeme2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was probably the best air bnb experience we’ve ever had! Scott was amazing and such a gracious host. The space was beautiful, cozy and had thoughtful touches that made it relaxing and feel like a home away from home. The quality of this air bnb is out of this world and we would (and already have) recommend it to any friends visiting the County! On top of the amazing space, the location is ideal for exploring the area and Scott has so many tips and recommendations. Already looking forward to visiting again!

    Whitney2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay exceeded our expectations and Scott was an exemplary host. The space was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable, and Scott was very kind and responsive when we needed anything. Add to that the Airbnb's central location, and it was an all around exceptional experience. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

    Kathleen2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Union House was a perfect winter getaway. The house was beautiful, all of the amenities we needed and ever wanted were there and beyond. Super clean, very organized, and Scott was welcoming and extremely quick with replying (only needed for questions about places to visit). The house had a ton of resources for local spots and restaurants as well. The tablet resource was a fantastic touch. We constantly thought about how wonderful it would be to stay anytime of the year, so we'll definitely be returning as soon as we can. Highly Recommend & Thanks Again Scott & Donna. A&A

    Alexander2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean, quaint and super cozy. It had everything needed to spend a day inside (full kitchen and living area) or close enough to venture out to the Main Street. Scott was an excellent host! Very responsive with great suggestions of things to do. He ensured we were comfortable when we arrived and checked back as we were leaving. Highly recommended!

    Michelle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It was just fantastic. I would love to visit again in the warmer months when the pool is open. What a great accomadation

    Robin2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Out of any AirBnbs I have stayed at (of ones I have booked myself, or others have booked) Scott’s is, without question, the best I have had the pleasure of being at. First and foremost, Scott is an incredible host- he was extremely accommodating with the booking, provided helpful tips for local amenities, and kept in contact with when the space was available to check in (early offered) and that since he didn’t have anyone coming the next day, suggested we were welcome to stay longer than the posted checkout time. The space itself is gorgeous- a beautifully decorated spot; immediately upon entry you feel warm and cozy (music was playing softly, battery-operated candles and lamps providing ambient lighting). The cleanliness level was superb, and many amenities were provided. Scott has a tablet set up in Union House with a convenient easily accessible electronic guide for the space which was super helpful. I can’t say enough about our stay. We will definitely be back- thank-you, Scott, for this wonderful County experience!

    Amber2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed only one night at Union House and wished we had planned for longer! The space is both stylish and comfortable and there are many thoughtful details for guests (a few snacks in the pantry, extra toiletries if you forget the odd thing), little luxuries that show great care from the hosts. Communication with Scott and Donna was so easy, we would be thrilled to stay there again.

  • Where to start...! Ruth’s Nook is simply a haven for the senses. Relaxing, cozy, warm, restorative, abundant and natural. And Ruth is just as lovey as her place - a joy to communicate with, so helpful and responsive, and a truly caring and warm soul. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful place, and find myself counting down the days until the next chance to steal away and stay here!

    Jessica2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Nook last weekend of September and truly enjoyed the privacy and the simplicity of Ruth's cabin. Ruth warmly welcomed us and provided excellent recommendations. Her instructions on the use of the cabin were simple, helpful and very much appreciated! It was a wondering getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The cabin is very cute and rustic...our pup enjoyed it too!

    Arkadi2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at "The Nook" for a little minimoon right after our wedding and it was exactly what we needed. There isn't a single thing Ruth hasn't thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We really felt at peace here and hope to be back! Thanks again Ruth!

    Lauren2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Ruth's place is lovely escape from the world but still perfectly located to enjoy the amenities of PEC. Thunderstorms in the enclosed porch are to die for. Everything was explained well and easy to operate. Even the dog loved it!

    Tanya2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great secluded, fully stocked cabin. We were looking for a quiet getaway with our 4 month baby and dog and it was perfect. Excellent waterfront. The tub was amazing! Perfect mini vacation for us. Highly recommended.

  • Ruth’s attention to detail is the wonderfully inviting to be comfortable in an unfamiliar place. What a pleasure. I hope to visit again. Thank you!

  • This was our second stay at The Nook, and it was as lovely as we remembered. What an amazing place to unwind away from the world. We will definitely be back!!!!!

    Artie2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Nook is a lovely secluded retreat and yet very close to Picton’s amenities and the other attractions of PEC. The generator really is very quiet and easy to operate, and the cabin is more than amply supplied with propane, candles, flashlights etc. for lighting. Compact but very comfortable space with lots of charm. Communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. Perfect choice for a low key off-grid getaway!

    Prince Edward, ON, Canada

A newly renovated Scandinavian-inspired heritage home located in the heart of Prince Edward County's wine country in the town of Picton. The Loft is one of three self contained suites available to rent in this lovingly restored home. This space was originally the home's horse stable & is seconds from cafés and restaurants and just a short drive to the beach. Recently named by Canadian Living as their pick for top 3 uniquely decorated hotels in Canada.
This beautiful home was originally built in the 1850's and the first owner of the land was a young Loyalist soldier and entrepreneur named Arra Ferguson who received the property from the Crown in 1816. As two young entrepreneurs stewarding the house over 200 years later, we love this fellow's pioneering spirit and The Ferg is aptly named after Arra. We have lovingly restored and renovated all three suites in the house, maintaining the beautiful historic details while providing all the modern comforts our guests expect and deserve. Our interiors are designed to provide you with the most comfortable and inviting backdrop for your time in The County with your friends and family. We were inspired by the Scandinavian design principles of warmth, simplicity and minimalism and absolutely loved scouring The County for antiques to add personality. This Master Suite is freshly renovated and includes a King Bedroom, full kitchen with a dishwasher, full fridge, wine fridge, stove and oven; a spa-like bathroom with a claw foot tub and a separate stand-up shower; laundry; spacious living areas with a pull out queen sofa bed for children under ten to sleep on and two outside areas. You won't be lacking in space to escape or to entertain. We hope you love this relaxing home as much as we do!
Seconds from the energetic Main Street of the up-and-coming town of Picton in the heart of The County, The Ferg is nestled among old oak trees on a generous property with mature gardens, surrounded by other historic homes of note, making it a bucolic getaway with all the amenities and conveniences of the town. In just a 12 minute drive, you can be at the white sand beaches and dunes of the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park. The pretty towns of Bloomfield and Wellington are 7 and 15 minutes away respectively by car, with their galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes. The 44 world class vineyards in the area are all within a few minutes driving distance, as are all the incredible attractions the County has to offer. The Main Street offers grocery stores, a pharmacy, excellent restaurants, pubs, cafés, galleries and shops, all within walking distance. Around the corner from the house in the other direction is 62 acres of parkland, trails, a dog park and historic Glenwood Cemetery, built by the same architect who designed Mount Pleasant in Toronto. A five minute drive takes you to Lake on the Mountain for beautiful views, a wine bar, a brewery and gastropub. McCauley Mountain is also a five minute drive away, with a network of hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and mountain biking trails and great views over the harbour. Picton Harbour itself is a lovely short walk to the other side of town from The Ferg.
  • Myself and partner stayed at the Ferg Loft for the family day long weekend. The pictures online were beautiful so we booked within seconds of seeing it and we were not disappointed at all! Pulling up the the space looked exactly how the pictures looked but we had a little trouble checking in as the code wasn’t the right code to the door but we quickly got that fixed with a phone call. Anna and Jaimes loft was absolutely gorgeous! The fire place was my favourite part along with the stunning wood work!! Who the interior decorator/designer was did an awesome job! The sunshine through all the windows just made the space that much better! We were within walking distance from a neat brewery (555 brewing co good pizza), food (the Vic Cafe had amazing brunch) and gorgeous houses all around. One thing that was a little tricky was trying to not make a lot of noise as the house is shared with three other units and the sound travels a lot which was fine because there were only two of us, but the neighbours in the other unit had a dog that was barking for probably 30 min which sounded like it was right beside me but it eventually stopped. We would definitely stay here again once it gets a little nicer out, although having snow around was beautiful especially because we went snowshoeing! Thanks again for the wonderful home and for making our first trip to Prince Edward County a memorable one! Sarah and Jaye

  • A lovely place to stay in Picton! Rustic charm mixed with a modern, airy design made this feel like a comfortable indulgence into the history of Picton. Love the layout and the fireplace! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

  • Truly a beautiful place to stay—stylish, spacious and cozy with a lovely fireplace to warm things up! Fantastic location close to the main strip, dog park and conservation area. The kitchen was wonderful to have so I could choose whether to go out for a meal or prepare something and stay warm by the fire!

  • Very stylish, spacious 1 bedroom. Walking distance to all of Main Street, yet very quiet. Lovely place.

    Blair2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • This house is just like the photos - beautifully charming in downtown Picton. The space is clean and comfortable with easy parking. Anna & Jaime even had a few Christmas decorations up that made our stay feel more festive! The king bed and sofa were comfortable. I can only imagine how great this place would be in the summer :)

    Lauren2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is as gorgeous as it looks in the pictures, and cozier and bigger than it looks in them too. The hosts were also great, they let me check in a night early and whoever ploughed the driveway even cleared my car. If we can, we'll be going back.

We'd love to come back :)

  • The cabin is awesome, newly renovated and very clean. I had no problem finding it and the area is beautiful. Outstanding hospitality, Joel offered to bring up a new jug of water as it was running low, but I had brought my own water. Perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need to cook and/or bbq. Just a short walk from the lake with a beautiful view from the porch. I will definitely be back.

    Chin2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of four had a wonderful time at Mae’s peaceful lakeside cottage. Everything was perfect, from the views of the lake (which was literally steps from the cottage), the birds and other wildlife (swans, turtles, etc.), the kayaking, the campfires, the bbq, the large deck, the lawn games, and the little touches like fresh lilacs in vases and towels on every bed. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the lake and lakeside but there was plenty to do inside too (board games, video games, books, piano, etc.) The cottage was well-stocked with everything you need to make your stay convenient and comfortable; we just brought our own groceries. It is also minutes to the Glenora ferry for a short ferry ride across to a Prince Edward County. Mae is a very responsive, informative and accommodating host. We had a truly authentic lakeside cottage experience and look forward to returning!

  • John and Sasha have absolutely put their heart and soul into creating a cosy place! Both were very accommodating, flexible and gave us the privacy we were seeking. Would definitely love to come back and experience the vineyard in the summer time. Thank you for a lovely stay! We can’t wait to come back!

    Hanna2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • The Three Dogs Winery was the perfect weekend getaway. The loft was clean, a great size, and right on the vineyard property. We were there on a day that the winery was hosting a community fundraiser, and it was clear that not only are they great hosts, but they're also active members of the PEC area. The vineyard is a short drive from town and the owners suggested some wonderful suggestions of local activities. With a wine tasting to end a perfect day, they also had a delicious cheese array to make your own charcuterie board. Best wine we had the whole weekend! Can't wait to go back in the warmer weather!

    Lily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the winery and would love to visit again in the summertime :)

    Tyler2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely perfect. It’s amazing to walk into the loft and see the view of the vineyard, the comfy bed with its fluffy duvet, the kitchen, the TV, the bottle of wine in the fridge (!!!). This place is such a haven. It’s quiet and private and beautiful, the perfect distance from the goings-on of the winery (a twenty-second walk), so that you still have your own space to relax, but you’ve also got a cool and convenient place to go. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, but otherwise gave me and my partner total privacy, which made it all the more magical. Loved the snowshoeing. Looking forward to going back soon!

    Emily2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A great place for a relaxing getaway in all seasons. Access to the outdoors, the convenience of wine tasting within 20 paces, capped off with stylish accommodations.

  • Highly recommended !! A top place to stay in the County !!

    Dennis2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Vineyard loft is wonderful and cozy right on the winery, it is so pleasent and welcoming.. We can't wait to visit again, hopefully when it is a touch warmer though.. The bonfire did help with that though.. Lovely place, thanks John and Sacha!!

    Brent2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gem! The view looking out onto the vineyard is incredible. Lots of thoughtful touches in this space and it was lovely chatting Sacha and the other Three Dog employees! A nice bonus was getting to say hello to one of the resident dogs. I highly recommend the loft to anyone looking for a little relaxing getaway.

  • We had a fantastic week at the Blue House by the Pond! The house itself is spacious and comfortable on a very private and immaculate property. The gardens are well kept with lots of green space to explore and enjoy. Plus, the house is just down the road from the Stevenson Lookout - some of the best views in PEC! Our stay was blessed with great summer weather, so we enjoyed the backyard pool area and BBQ daily. The poolhouse was also a great place to catch some shade and keep our drinks cool. Joshua and Jessica are amazing hosts - Jessica greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property and where to find everything we needed. Both Joshua and Jessica were extremely quick to respond and happy to help with any questions. We loved our time at the Blue House and hope to visit again soon. Thank you Joshua and Jessica!

  • Fantastic place! Came for a relaxing weekend and can not say enough good things about the space and the hosts. It was clean, so well decorated, and had so many small touches to make the place that little bit better. We hope to return!

    Mack2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This loft was exactly what we needed. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here with our dog and it was perfect. Martha and Duncan thought of absolutely everything we could need. The space is even cozier in person. We can't wait to return!

    Julia2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I booked a February weekend at the Country Cricket as a little getaway for my husband, myself, and our dog, Henley. We arrived late on a Friday night, after a stressed-out work week in Toronto, and after driving through a terrible snowstorm, making our journey treacherous and about 3x longer than planned. Martha communicated with me during our journey, reassuring us to take our time, and to not worry about how late we might arrive. When we finally got there, Duncan already had everything plowed out and clear for us to just park and head into the loft. As soon as we walked through the door we felt all our cares release. I even thought I heard our puppy sigh. The loft space is beautiful - spacious and open, yet cozy, impeccably decorated with just enough whimsy to make you smile. There were welcome treats for the humans and for the pup and within a few minutes, we were all settled in front of the fire, sipping coffee from the coffee bar (!), nibbling on blueberry lemon muffins, and feeling so happy. Of course I was also congratulating myself on my excellent choice of Air BnB!!! Over the course of the next two days, and thanks to the hospitality of our hosts, we continued to enjoy this beautiful place. On Saturday morning we feasted on honey (from the property!) on croissants before heading out on long hikes in the area. Later in the day Henley had the opportunity to romp with the most beautiful English Sheep Dogs I have ever seen. He even had his first view of chickens after Duncan graciously let us walk up to the chicken coop with him. We had planned to go out on Saturday night, but had such an active day in the county, and loved the loft so much, we revised our plans for a cozy night in -making popcorn and watching movies on the huuuuge tv. The weekend was perfect. This place is perfect.

  • This is the second time we have stayed with Martha. It did not disappoint :)

    Jon2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft is a beautiful, immaculate and cozy home away from home. Martha, the host, has paid attention to every possible detail and even adds personal touches that made our stay so memorable. The hospitality is genuine, her eye for stunning design is apparent and the comfort is unparalleled. An absolute must when visiting the area. 10 stars PLUS!!!!!

    Linda2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Martha and Duncan were great hosts! Their place was SPARKLING clean, it had everything we possibly could need and our pup loved their big yard. We only wished that breakfast was refilled each morning because the muffins were so delicious!

  • Hands down the best airbnb we've ever stayed in. The space is incredible and has everything you could need and more. We received a very warm welcome from Duncan and Martha and our puppy had the best time playing in the backyard. The pictures don't do this place justice and the bed is very comfortable. • I definitely recommend staying at The Wilky Way! This Airbnb was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated! I would stay here again for sure!

    Matthew2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time. Very stylish space in a beautiful location! Highlights were the fire pit, tub with a view, and open living/kitchen area. Highly recommended!

    Allison2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • The Wilky Way is def one of the best ways to experience the county. Very mid century modern cool factor.

    Amy2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Wilky Way is a truly amazing place to stay. I'd seen the photos and read the reviews, so I was expecting great things - and it DID NOT disappoint. I literally opened the door and my jaw dropped. The place is grand and gorgeous, yet cozy and comfortable. Everything has been well thought out. The beds were super comfy. The kitchen well stocked. My two children took advantage of the trails and the huge yard. We loved the local area - exploring some of the wineries, cider houses and local shops. The Wilky Way is a beautiful house and I thank the owners for listing it on Airbnb so others get it to enjoy it.

    Nicole2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Wilk is amazing! We had a fantastic time. There were 6 of us celebrating my in-law's 40th anniversary. We spent 3 nights/4 days at the Wilk. The location is fantastic! We spent one rainy day inside, playing games, reading, etc. and the space is perfect for a group. The main sitting room has plenty of comfy spots to lounge and converse, the front sitting room is great if you want a little privacy , and the dinging room/sun room... spectacular. This combined with the open kitchen means everyone can stay connected even while doing their own thing. The layout and decor is like walking through a magazine spread. Nothing seems out of place in the space from the dishes to the furniture to the artwork. I think the sun room with it's wall to wall windows was my favourite place. Every morning I sat at the table drinking coffee and writing in my journal- such a calming place to sit. A huge plus that I hadn't thought of was the two dining tables. It's wonderful to have a smaller place to play games, and a separate spot to have dinner. The beds were comfortable, with lovely, cozy bed coverings. The bedrooms are all spacious and private with lots of windows. Other perks are an acoustic guitar on the wall, a dishwasher, beautiful dishes and plenty of glasses and mugs for everyone. Also, especially for a dog friendly place, I couldn't believe how clean it was! I didn't find a single hair from a previous 4-legged guest ;) And the artwork featuring a variety of dogs made mine feel right at home. The outdoor space is also fantastic. Such a beautiful yard to play fetch, bbq, or go for a stroll. There's even a tire swing. Even though the property feels very rural and remote, you're so close to amenities. Grocery stores, veterinarians, restaurants, shopping, is all minutes away. I highly recommend staying at the Wilk. We plan on coming back next year!

  • What an amazing spot to stay! Just when you thought you’ve seen the entire house or property, you open a door or walk to another part of the property and yet another hidden gem is waiting to be discovered. My favourite part of the weekend was a private yoga session in the downstairs living room which overlooks the water. It was the perfect way to start the morning, and the room was incredibly spacious to allow for a great experience. An amazing spot that I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, private, and spacious get-away!

    Jesse2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for a family trip to PEC. Hard to beat this spot! Super accommodating for young kids. The house, the pool, the lake. Great combination.

    Jeremy2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I spent a week here and it was truly perfect and magical. The home is spectacular, the surroundings beautiful and magical, the home has everything you could hope for in terms of comfort, style and amenities. I specifically loved the big family room and projector. The views were fantastic as well. Truly I cannot sat enough good things about this place. I was also really impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked.

    Meivys2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • When we arrived we were taken back by how secluded, large and beautiful the property was. After the gardeners came the property only got nicer. The pool was perfect for the family and we spent much of the time around the pool. The owner was extremely responsive when contacted with any questions and extremely helpful.

    Devon2019-07-13T00:00:00Z

    Courtney2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful and spacious lakefront property in a convenient location with close proximity to many nice vineyards, shops, restaurants. Gorgeous home with plenty of space and everything you could need (including an awesome projector screen set up which was perfect for watching the game of thrones season finale)! The small diptique candles in each bathroom are also a nice touch and one of my fave brands. Several fireplaces indoors and a nice outdoor one. Large lawn for games and immaculately maintained landscape. Fantastic space for an intimate gathering of friends and a fun weekend out of the city in PEC. While we have no kids, we were all also saying the place is well equipped for families as well. 11/10 would love to stay again! :) thank you Stuart & Jen for an awesome Victoria day long weekend setting!

  • The Nest is super cute; with the raised bed area and the view of the sparkling water, it feels like a nautical getaway. Great location, with a soothing lake view (via private deck) and a quick walk into town for all kinds of delicious food options and beautiful neighbourhoods to wander through. Great host, who provides a warm and friendly welcome. Tip: if you're bringing your own food, be mindful of the limited dish-washing/sink availability and avoid bringing anything too smelly or complicated; our artichoke dip turned into a real fiasco! We'll be back for sure, anytime we need a quiet, cozy space to relax and refresh. Thanks Alec! Katy & Zane

  • Great spot

    Mike2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was absolutely spotless and lovely. The view of the lake was beautiful and easily seen from inside the cottage or the porch. Mandi was a wonderful host and we would definitely stay here again.

    Gail2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a great place for families to come together and create fresh memories. It was right on the water with the firepit outward facing the lake. We had a chance to go for walks, fish and swim at our leisure. The cottage was dog friendly and had a large enough yard for them to frolick on an extended leash without getting tangled. The cottage had all of the amenities we were looking for, the AC was a bonus on the extremely hot summer nights. The two queen bedrooms are small but manageable since most of our time was spent outside. The kitchen had all of the things we needed to make meals. Overall a great location for some rest and relaxation!

    Erin2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great swimming, specially when water level is high, as in 2017 and this year. Bring water shoes as the shoreline is a bit rough on bare feet.

    George2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Mandi is a first-class host. Everything from how clean the space was, to how beautiful and peaceful the area, the excellent accommodations, local information, everything was either exactly what was expected, or our expectations were exceeded significantly! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We have also already recommended this lovely place to our friends.

    Dale2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was spotless. Pictures are representative to reality. Mandi was prompt in her responses and was a great host. This is a great spot for a family or small group of friends. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We are a newly constructed water view 4 season chalet overlooking one of the busiest water routes in the area. From either our large elevated cedar deck or the comfort of the living-room enjoy an unobstructed view of everything from Great Lake shipping vessels to sail craft coming to take safe shelter in the Picton Bay. Located on the historic Loyalist Parkway we are less than 2 KM from both the Glenora Ferry and beautiful Lake on the Mountain and less than 8 KM from the busy Town of Picton.
If you plan on visiting some of the local wineries, breweries or fine dining establishments they can all be found just a short drive away.
Most of the properties that surround us are located on an acre or two but the best part of staying at ours is the fantastic view you will enjoy from the deck which is located part way up the escarpment which is home to the Lake On The Mountain. Nothing beats being able to BBQ and dine outside all the while enjoying this scenic view.
  • This listing is very beautiful. For a family of 7, there was ample space. It was also great that it had 3 washrooms and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Cookwares are complete, and even spices are well stocked. We were also welcomed with a box of chocolates and wine which we thought was a great touch. The host also offered early check in and all information were provided through the handbook. Our stay went very smoothly from checking in to checking out. I can imagine this house to be perfect for the summer!

  • Everett's place is the perfect spot in PEC to spend some nice relaxing time. Besides the place is brand new it is also professionally decorated with high quality items . Each room has its charm and provides great comfort. The view from the living room upstairs is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or hot chocolate (generously provided by the host) or a nice glass of local wine in the afternoon. The handbook with house rules is easy to use and to follow. We can't wait to return next year! This is a great place which I highly recommend. Thank you Patti and Everett!

The Miller restaurant was also an amazing place to stop. The house was sparkling clean, beautiful view and comfortable beds. The fire was a nice added touch, as we arrived on a cold day.

This beautifully renovated apartment is a delight, with its original exposed rough-hewn wooden beams across the ceiling, its open concept style, glamourous bathroom & comfortable beds. Snuggle up with Netflix (no cable) in the evening after checking out the best wineries PEC has to offer, or luxuriate in the large soaker tub with rainfall shower. The twin XL beds can be combined into a king if you want to get a little cozier.<br /><br />CURRENTLY ONLY HOSTING EMERGENCY OR ESSENTIAL STAYS. THIS INCLUDES FRONT LINE PERSONNEL OR FAMILIES, GUESTS WITH NO PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN CANADA, ESSENTIAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND LOCALS WITH AN UNSAFE LIVING ENVIRONMENT UNTIL MAY 18 (SUBJECT TO CHANGE).
Six can sleep comfortably in the twin beds (or 1 king if you push them together), queen bed and pullout sofa in the living room. Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, and eat out on the back deck, enjoying the trickling sounds of the creek which runs through the property. Only a 5 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of "downtown" Picton, grab a bagel and cappuccino at Miss Lily's Cafe, or deep fried pickles at The Acoustic Grill. Loads of options in this adorable, tourist-friendly town. Note the air conditioning is a portable unit in the main area, not central. So it will cool the space but bedrooms may be a bit warmer when the doors are closed.
  • Great location. Gorgeous bathroom. Very clean and easy to check in. Nicely decorated/stylish space.

Welcome to The Church! Located less than 10 minutes from the 401, 20 minutes from Picton, and 45 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park. Public boat launch just a few kms down the road. Your space is the entire living space within The Church. (There is a large addition in the back that is unfinished... Check back in a few years, but for now it’s not part of the living space).
The Church was built in 1863, and was converted into a home in the 80’s. It’s definitely a unique space with lots of character!
The Church is very close to a public boat launch just a few kilometres down the road. (4 minutes to North Port). The Church is also close to: Hwy 401 - 7 minutes if you catch the green light on the reserve Picton - 20 minutes Sandbanks - 40 minutes or so. Summer long weekends definitely longer Belleville - 30 minutes to the mall, cinemas, etc via 401 Wellington - 30 minutes or so via Demorestville
  • Craig’s place was so great! It’s pretty cute in the pictures already but it was even more charming in person. It was a treat to sit by the fire, read books in the tub and wake up in the lofted bedroom! Lots of very thoughtful homey touches that made our stay cozy and fun. Loved the radiant floor heat too. Thanks for being a really helpful, informative and responsive host Craig!

    Mohini2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Little Church was truly perfect for a quick getaway for two people (though there is room for more if needed, with a pullout in the living area and an air bed available as well). The location is quiet and secluded, but it was just a short drive to Picton for shops & restaurants, and all of the wineries and attractions of Prince Edward County. The main floor is open and very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen & dining area, seating area with tv, games, books, and a working fireplace. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with comfy bed and super soft bedding, and a luxurious, newly renovated bathroom with deep soaker tub, enormous shower, and Bluetooth speaker built into the exhaust fan! Loads of little extras like high speed internet, Netflix, Bluetooth speaker on the main floor, plus a piano! Craig was a great host, very responsive to messages, and got in contact during our stay to make sure all was well. We could not have picked a better spot! Thanks for your hospitality, Craig!

    Andrea2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Would definitely recommend.

    Michael2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Craig’s place. The space is much bigger than in the pictures, the kitchen is fully equipped and the bath is a big plus! Feels like a hotel room. Thank you very much!

    Valerie2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Craig's home is really beautiful and special. Super spacious, with nice modern touches.

    Jeff2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Little Church is a gem of an Airbnb, combining the rustic charm of an old chapel with modern upgrades for comfort and style; it was a great home base for our 4 day stay in Prince Edward County. Don't let the secluded location deter you from staying here, it is well located and so calm: a few mins kilometers away from County Road 49 which takes you straight into Picton (about a 20 min drive), 40 mins to the Sandbanks but do keep in mind that it is not in a town which is ideal if you are looking for a proper getaway! The amenities were great with a complete kitchen (we cooked many meals here), a luxurious bathroom including a soaker tub and Bluetooth speakers in the fan, a comfortable queen size bed, a Smart Tv for cozy movie nights and lots of clean drinking water. Craig was very responsive and prepared everything we needed for our stay generously. Thank you Craig for making our long weekend one to remember! We hope to return one day!

    Aleksandra2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location and lodging. Pictures don’t do it justice. Will definitely be back.

    Oliver2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Craig's Old Church is a rustic, comfortable home with many luxuries. Large shower, great hosting/cooking spot, easy access to the highway, wineries, sights of Prince Edward County and a cosy feel. Plan on spending 4/5 days. There is lots to see in PEC. Small town, rural Ontario, the booming wine industry, the local parks and beaches, the bike trails, dozens of interesting restaurants ... a terrific holiday location. The Old Church was ideal for us, hosting some friends, traveling to family. It sleeps 2 adults in a large upstairs loft bedroom. Not really room for others (we had our 2 young grandchildren with us for one night on the sofa bed).

Great swimming, paddle boarding but most popular for fishing Walleye. Located next to public boat launch. Close to ferry to Picton and Sandbanks with many wineries, craft breweries and shopping.
  • Highly recommend the cottage and the host! An amazing, quiet spot with everything needed right in the cottage. Anne Marie was wonderful, very helpful with tips to explore the area, accommodations, and is very generous. There is a paddle board and barbecue, and perfect distance for a day trip to sandbanks or into Picton. Great views on the lake and if the stars!

  • This was the perfect cottage for a weekend away. Anne-Marie makes sure there is everything you need and more (towels, blankets, pillows, a stand up surfboard, maps, everything!). The space felt well-lived in, loved and comfy, and we had the best time. Just note that to get into and out of Picton you need to take the ferry, I loved these crossing and rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes to board. Thank you Anne Marie! It was perfect!

    Emily2019-08-26T00:00:00Z

  • This caboose has a relaxing and entertaining space for a couple to stay! Anne-Marie is a great host, getting everything ready for us to enjoy the stay. When we arrived, AC was running so we could relax in a cool air:) You should try Dart outside!! and you must bring fishing gears :D

  • We had a great time. The cottage is right on the water and the public boat launch is right next door. The cottage was clean, air conditioned, and had everything we needed. Docks out front for our boats (water was high but we managed). Satellite TV and movies for when it rained, coffee maker, Bluetooth speaker, chairs, chimnea for a fire. We are definitely going back. The only thing to be prepared for is that there is no shower, just a tub. No big deal, just wash up like the old days. Great spot!

A private Estate Suite overlooking 10 acres of grape vines in the beautiful Prince Edward County wine region. A place where you can walk the vines with vino in hand, and have wine, artisan hard cider, and authentic Italian pizza delivered straight to your doorstep. A 30 minute waterfront drive to the Limestone City, and a 7 minute drive to the Glenora Ferry toward Picton, this location and space has everything that a remarkable vacation requires!
The County is all about local; local cheese, local lavender, local art, and, of course, local wine! Naturally then, the best way to get a well rounded County experience is to rest and play at one of its Original Ten; Bergeron Estate Winery & Cider Co. Our Estate Suite offers a truly unique experience as it's nestled among 10 acres of grape vines. BEW & CC is a 15 year old family vineyard which was 7th in the Prince Edward County wine region, and first on the Limestone City side. What was once a farm house and a wheat field, has now transformed into a vineyard, wine and cider tasting room, and full service open kitchen pizzeria. Your Estate Suite is adjacent to the winery retail, with it's own private entrance and private patio with a beautiful open view of the vines. If you feel thirsty or peckish, just let us know, we'll deliver some vino and pizza to your doorstep during our hours of operation. During the day, take a Vineyard Tour or partake in your complimentary wine tasting flight. Explore our newly planted apple orchard, or have a pizza picnic on the patio. If you'd like a bottle of white or rose chilled for your arrival, just let us know in advance, we'll have it ready and waiting for you! For your evenings, cozy up inside by the fireplace or sip some wine outdoors beneath a sky full of stars. Depending on the season, you might even hear the coyotes calling in the distance and catch the fireflies glowing about. Our Estate Suite truly is a romantic place to be. With so much to do and see, you may never want to leave!
This is a rural location, often with kilometers of fields between neighbors. This is where you go when you want to escape the hustle, find some peace in nature, and relax and recharge. This is paradise!
  • Beautiful and cozy place. The perfect quiet getaway for my husband and I (who have incredibly busy schedules). The pizza and wine were sooo delicious! We also got great recommendations and tips on where we could explore in the area.

  • Dave was a great host, offering us a wine tasting and pizza as soon as we arrived. The place was spacious and the views of the vineyards were fantastic. Would highly recommend!

  • David & Christina’s cottage was a delightful getaway from the city. It has the right mix of being remote while having social activities that are available on the estate. There are wine tastings, great pizza and tours available just a hop and skip away. The cottage was both clean and spacious. The remote experience was accentuated with the absence of wifi. David is a great host with years of experience as a owner of the winery. I was pleased with the service and tasting we received at the winery. Although, a ways from Picton, this is a great spot for anyone looking to explore Prince Edward County.

  • It is a pleasure to stay here. The room is cozy and beautiful. David made us great pizza and the white wine. It is a quite place, and air is fresh. The price is reasonable.

  • David is a very friendly and welcoming host. He gave us some great tips about places to visit in the area and he also invited us to taste some of his amazing wine. The space itself is very charming and we found it to be the perfect little getaway from the city.

  • A wonderful find in Napanee. Sunsets and waking up on a vineyard are pretty hard to come by. Even though we were usually out and about during business hours, I doubt you'll be bothered much as the space is very private. You're about a 5 minute drive to the Glenora ferry. We drove the opposite way for about 20 minutes and hopped on the Amherst ferry to enjoy the day there as well. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well and there is also a kennel that's literally across the street if you want board them up while you go on an adventure. We really enjoyed Dave's wine and pizza, but most of all his conversation.

  • My boyfriend and I came to the county for our anniversary. Upon our arrival we met Dave who made sure we got the pizza and wine we are so excited for. We enjoyed them on the patio with a gorgeous view of the vineyard. Dave’s place was a really nice getaway and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy!
