“This is a beloved Algiers Point spot that serves up great food! Breakfast favorites are the Katrina huevos rancheros (OMG yum!) and the Atchafalaya (crawfish etouffee over grits). And for lunch, we like the Croque Monsieur and the bagel and lox. ”

“This is another amazing Vietnamese restaurant. They have some Chinese stuff as well. The thing I like about Nine Roses is they have several dishes that you cook yourself at the table. You get these rice paper wrappers and basically make Vietnamese burritos! Super fun. ”

“Cafe 615 is less than a 10 minute ride away from the Point but it's a great destination if you want to eat traditional New Orleans food. It's definitely not a touristy location, but you won't be disappointed with the large portions of deliciousness. Favorites include seafood platters, fried chicken, eggplant and seafood casserole, and shrimp etouffee. The dishes can be a bit on the salty side though. ”
