A wonderful location close to downtown Almont and convenient to Imlay City. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming, exceeding our expectations with our AirBnB experience. If you are ever in the Thumb area of MI, this location is highly recommended.

Lovely home in downtown Almont, a picturesque village. Our hosts were wonderful and quite respectful of our privacy. The bed was very comfortable with a spacious en suite. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasure to meet Brian. When I arrived, he was at work, but a good friend of him opened the door and showed me the house. It's a great house with a super AirBnB room, everything was clean and looked well organized. I had my own bathroom next to my room - I loved it. In the evening I had a really nice conversation with Brian. I really recommend this homestay to everybody.

My husband Holger travels by bike daily 60 + miles, not without problems on his bike. Physical down he arrived Brian and met a wonderful, helpful, unique host -- never he had expect such friendly atmosphere. Nothing, really nothing to complain. Holger really hopes he'll meet him one day again. ALL WAS PRETTY MORE THAN PERFEKT!

We were so glad that we chose to stay at Brian and David's. The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms feel unique yet perfectly livable. It's obvious that they put a lot of work and heart into the home. We arrived late at night and David was kind enough to stay up to greet us. Brians' home felt very warm and inviting, and the bed was very comfortable, we slept well. Brians' home is in a small town - quaint and friendly. We had breakfast at the local diner Marias place which we highly recommend. Overall, I would recommend staying with Brian when you are in the area - Thanks Brian!

Brian is a great host! Very friendly and respectful. The guest rooms are super clean, as well as the bathroom and everything - you would almost feel like being in a hotel room. It's a small town but quiet and safe. Perfect experience. I would definitely be staying again.

This was our first time using airbnb. We had the upstairs all to ourselves and access to the downstairs kitchen if we wanted it. while the residence was shared, it felt private. We were able to let ourselves in and enjoy ourselves without any pressure to socialize. The home was beautiful and beyond our expectations. There was a lovely coffee bar and mini fridge upstairs along with a den set up for Netflix (we used our own account--not sure if the host had his own account) and Wi-Fi. Brian gave it the Valentine's treatment with candles and chocolates. There were wine glasses and a wine opener available. The bathroom was private, but would be shared if two couples were staying. Shower had excellent water pressure and towels were provided. We ended up meeting Brian in the morning on our way out. They were friendly and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast. We walked to Maria's and enjoyed a wonderful diner experience. Our short getaway was exactly what we were hoping for. We'd like to come back again.

This was a beautiful home with gracious hosts. The little sitting area outside our bedroom was especially nice, with a dorm fridge stocked with water, a coffee maker, stocked with coffee and a cute cafe table and chairs stocked with snacks and fresh fruits. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

What an amazing place to stay! This was my first AirBnB experience and I got to believe the bar was set pretty high. The house was immaculately kept and absolutely stunning. My bathroom had the finishes of an exceptional high end hotel. Included in the rate was a small fridge with water and juice, a coffee pot for morning coffee, a fruit basket, some snacks, wifi, as well as a separate entertainment room complete with TV. All the essentials and then some to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. The home is set in a quaint small town, conveniently located off the highway, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the front door. Not mentioned in the listing is how unbelievably warm, welcoming, and kind the hosts are. Seriously. I know Midwest people are often viewed as nice, but these were two of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. We even shared a great conversation over a drink that I won't soon forget. I am happy that my path crossed with two individuals from a completely different background than my own. You can certainly have a worse night sleep elsewhere, but you'd be hard pressed to have a better one. Give this rental a chance!

This was our best AirBnb stay yet! Hard to see how we'll top this gorgeous, very clean, very comfortable home, bedroom and bathroom. We can't wait to stay here next year when we're in the area again! We're definitely recommending to friends! Brian and David were the perfect hosts in every way, although regrettably we had to work at our event and didn't get to chat with them nearly as much as we'd have liked. One other reviewer commented about the lack of cobwebs and how clean the whole house is and he was absolutely correct! The (full size) bed was extremely comfortable and both of us slept amazingly well all three nights of our stay. Extra blankets and comfortable pillows were provided. We loved the large comfortable clean & bright room and lovely private bathroom facilities which are attached to the room. We did utilize the awesome little refrigerator and freezer for guests for the food and drinks we brought along, but there is free water, snacks, drinks, a coffee and tea bar for your use as well at the end of the hallway upstairs. The lounge area looked great, but unfortunately we were so busy that we didn't have time to sit there and relax. Brian was great about communication! Parking was easy and convenient, with the house situated in a great little town which is very safe, quiet and was close to our event. Very affordable and great value! We recommend staying with Brian and David 100% and can't wait to come back next July!!

I loved staying here! Its quiet and relaxing and a great vacation spot! The hot tub was always ready in the evenings! Kitty kitty gave us our feline fix as she is super sweet and social. Heather and josh aren't home too often, but there are two other rooms they rent out. So for the most part you have the house to yourself. Heather was great about texting back quickly with answers to any questions we had. They are a great, friendly, accepting, young couple, that made this queer couple feel welcome and at home. My only complaint is that the bedroom was on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a large house with many windows. We traveled in September and experienced a week of 88 degree weather during the day. The a.c. would be turned off while people were not home so when we returned it took a long time to cool off. Heather was great about letting us turn it down, but it took a while to cool off due to the size of the house and location of the bedrooms. The bed was spacious .and comfortable due to a memory foam mattress topper! Unfortunately, it did contribute to the heat. I did not think to ask if a fan was available, nor do I believe that it will be a reoccuring issue with heat as it was a freak weather week in mid Sept., but I would suggest a fan in the bedroom, just in case. The bedroom we stayed in, had a private bathroom attached, but it is small for big girls like us. We made it work but if we choose to stay again, we will probably use the hall bathroom. ( I'd like to add that the only reason we would not stay here again, is due to being 20 min from family we were visiting). This stay was very relaxing and you can see all the stars at night. The sunrise and sunset view over the surrounding fields was spectacular! Loved this place! And its hosts!

This is a lovely home that was clean, super comfortable and very welcoming. Very easy to find and a nice quiet location. (I loved my visits from Kitty Kitty too.) I felt very (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication from Heather was wonderful too. I highly recommend this Airbnb and will stay again!

I've been staying with Justin and Heather for a few weeks now. I work in the area needed a place to stay. I was able to communicate with Heather the day before I needed to be in town. She responded very quickly and was able to make accommodations fast. Once at the house, I was very impressed. The house is clean and maintained well on the inside and out! The house has a unique layout and everything you will need! Justin and Heather are very respectful and will make you feel right at home. I would recommend my friends and family to stay here! Nothing but good things to say!

Heather made us feel very comfortable at her place. it was very relaxing and away from the humdrum of the city. lots to do in the area if you like quaint town of Romeo, we did not have time to visit there, but know if it since living in Marine City prior to visiting the area again. Heather is a wonderful hostess and i would recommend their place to anyone.

Heather was extremely responsive to my many questions concerning how this all worked, as this was the first time I used Airbnb. Beautiful home and property. Very peaceful and quiet. The surrounding town is small but lots of little stores and markets to check out which I did before hitting the road back home. They were very respectful of me and my dogs while I was there and allowed me to get the rest I needed from a long day of driving and competing.

We had a wonderful stay at Jerome and Yvonne's lovely home. They where very warm and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the town was enjoyable to walk around and see the historic homes. If there where a 10 star rating, I would give it to them. I almost forgot, the most incredible breakfast was served to us on the weekend.

This was an amazing night! Yvonne and Jerome were so nice and helpful. We showed up and shared a bottle of wine on their deck. They gave us a tour of the house. The room was beautiful and immaculate. Everything was spotless and beautiful! I love that everything they decorate with in their house has a unique story. Jerome got up early and made us a feast for Sunday breakfast! The crepes and homemade maple syrup were delicious! So we're the potatoes and eggs and bacon. I've never had such perfect bacon before! They're were nice and polite and fun. They even accommodated us in the morning when my brother showed up to pick us up, they opened their home to him for breakfast too! This was the perfect stay!

Jerome & Yvonne are wonderful hosts and we loved having the opportunity to stay in their beautiful home! Even though we were visiting our new grandson & family nearby, we enjoyed our times with our hosts. The accommodations were very comfortable and we found everything we needed. Jerome makes yummy breakfasts on the weekend! We highly recommend & and would stay again.

Bobbe and her husband were so pleasant and helpful. They knew the area well and offered great suggestions for food and things to do. The place was small and cozy. Just what we needed for a one night stay. While they made sure to greet us and were available if we needed them they mostly left us to ourselves which was nice. I would definitely stay with them again!

My husband, 6 month old daughter, and I stayed for 3 nights and have nothing but positive feedback. It felt very private but hosts were right upstairs and available if we needed anything at all. I was impressed with the garden and walked by it showing my daughter all the colorful flowers more than once. Inside was nicely decorated and organized. Beautiful, clean, peaceful apartment. I would definitely recommend.

Heidi and Kim are wonderful, generous people. Heidi even baked homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning for our family and took us on a lovely walk around the gorgeous property. The dogs and horses are huge fun and accompanied us; their two small Shetlands walk on a leash! Our kids had a great time playing with the animals and hiking outside. Thank you for making our holiday visit so comfortable and memorable.

I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs for work, and this one I would love to come back to for a weekend get away. Her place is like from a story book. Large, beautiful property, tons of wild life, you felt at peace the moment you arrive. Thank you for sharing your home. Absolutely fantastic.

My parents, husband, 4-month old daughter, 80 pound dog and I stayed at the apartment at Happily Ever After this past weekend and it was perfect!! First of all, Heidi is so nice and welcoming-- she was great with communication before and during our trip, was there to meet us to show us around the beautiful property, and made sure we had everything we needed (which we absolutely did). The apartment is very cozy and comfortable (the beds especially), impeccably clean, and had everything we needed. The real star of Happily Ever After is the property, though. There are rolling hills and tons of trees, wonderful places to walk, and lots of different seating areas scattered throughout. There is also the swimming hole and fire pit (which we didn't have a chance to use) and the hot tub (which we did). That is all capped off by the miniature and standard horses happily grazing in the fields. Across the board Happily Ever After is perfect-- highly recommend that anyone coming to the area stay here!!! with the miniature

Everything was outstanding! Heidi was very welcoming and had a wonderful bonfire going when we arrived. My kids enjoyed the miniature horses, hot tub, fire, and trails. It was a bit chilly to really enjoy the swimming pond, but I'm sure my kids would have stayed out there all day if it had been warmer. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would (and have) recommended this little slice of heaven to anyone!

Everything was exactly as described by Mike and his reviews. They welcomed us outside when we got there. Very nice people. Also had good beverages and food for breakfast. Lots to do even if you don't go out anywhere. Definitely recommended. I do plan to return. Thanks again guys!

Mike was great, very accommodating, his place is fantastic, very spacious and comfortable. I will definitely return if I am in the area for work again. I highly recommend Mike as a host and this fantastic space.

My hosts were terrific and made me feel right at home! I gained entry easily and Mike showed me how all things worked right away. The homes sits well off a quite road and is nestled in a beautifully wooded acreage. Nothing else to see but the water - no houses near. The space is better than the pictures - really. Very,very comfortable. The bedroom is very nicely decorated and has a great bed and bedding. All this combined with the super quite setting made sleeping easy. The bath and shower were great too! The two key elements for a business stay! The bar area in the photo I called a Club room. It is a very nice bar set up as a professional palce would be. I liked sitting at the bar or at one of the bar tables when I worked. It was great, fully stocked bar, great wifi signal, and lots of room to stretch out. The neighborhood is very upscale, safe, and quiet. 5 stars

I stayed at Mike's place for 3 nights and was completely satisfied with everything about my stay. His property and house is exactly as pictured and even more beautiful in person. However I was most blown away by Mike's hospitality and responsiveness as a host. He had everything you could need in a place to stay and provided my girlfriend and I with snacks, breakfast basics (eggs from his own chickens he raises on the property), and a variety of beverages. All off which are not required of him but that's the kind of host Mike is, he goes above and beyond for his guests. I wish I had more time to enjoy his place and the nearby activities but I was in town for a wedding in which I was a groomsman, which took up a lot of my time during my stay. The wedding was in West Bloomfield Michigan which is just about a 20-45 min drive from his house depending on the time/traffic. A car is necessary to get around here but it makes for a pleasant drive because it's a beautiful area especially in the Fall with the changing of the leaves which I got to enjoy. If you're looking for a place to stay in this neck of the woods do yourself a favor and book with Mike. You won't regret it! I'm looking forward to coming back soon one day!

Avinonda is a great host, all guests can be sure, that she will all do to feel well and comfortable in her nice home. It's really quite, bed is soft to sleep very good. She makes a fabluos breakfast with the eggs from the own lucky chickens. If is not a problem with missing wifi, so I can recomend for 100%, you will like this place very much. We've been using Airbnb for over 3 years now, and have never enjoyed anywhere, as much as we did with Avionda! Her home is a haven of quietude and serenity, amid a natural setting of fresh air and relaxation. Her animals are all wonderful additions to this special environment. Avionda is the hostess' host! She was very accommodating for all of our needs and the most gracious hostess we have ever encountered! If you're tired of your stress-filled lifestyle and just need to get away from it all, we know of no greater place to help you unwind than here at Cranberry Brook farms! We will, most definately, return again!

Our stay here was beyond our expectations! We absolutely loved the pool and the backyard. Our kids swam several times each day. They loved playing hide and seek in the house and playing with the old phone! Our oldest loved the hammock, too!! It was decorated so nice, and it was very clean. We enjoyed a bonfire and used the patio everyday. It would be a great place to have a large family gathering in the summer. We took some short drives and found some wonderful parks. We especially loved Friendship Park and Seymour Lake Township Park. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking, and there is a grocery store super close by. Thank you, Judy and Nicole, for allowing us into your home for a long weekend! We'd love to come back again.

I was looking for a place to get away by myself for a couple of days. My office was under construction, I had a big deadline, and needed space away from kids to work and sleep. This home and setting were perfect to meet my needs. Pictures don't do it justice. Extremely clean. Modern amenities with a throw-back vibe. It is evident that much care was put into this home. The indoor pool was amazing! It would be a wonderful place for families. Host was very responsive and accommodating, despite my last-minute inquiry.

This property is such a gem. It's spacious, clean, and comfortable. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in the front door. The best part of the house is the indoor pool! If you're looking for that outdoor pool feel there are, what look like garage doors, that you could open. The indoor pool is also convenient for when you want to rent the property during the cold weather. There's a bonfire pit, gas grill, and a playground, which is why we spend the majority of our time in the pool/backyard area. There's also a basketball net and ping pong table, which the guys enjoyed. The backyard is beautiful and scenic and made for peaceful, quiet mornings while having coffee/breakfast outside. A couple of times there were deers that strolled into the yard, which was pretty cool. This house is only an hour away from where we live, which makes it even that much better. Our host was very welcoming and accommodating and even allowed us to stay longer than our initial check out time. This is definitely a house my family and myself will be renting again in the future.

I am not sure I can add much else to this rating... but everyone is absolutely correct!! Krista is SUPER communicative, and the place was immaculate. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense, and it is all labeled as well. Being from AZ I felt like I was somewhere in Middle Earth with all the green and stonework in the area.

The small apartment was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything my husband and I needed. Krista has gone out of her way to ensure everything is labeled and easy to figure out--wifi, extra blankets in the closet. The bathroom was especially awesome; the water pressure and multiple spray heads in the shower were so spa-like I ended up taking two showers, one at night and one in the morning! We did have one issue, when I woke up in the morning to find a two light stains on the mattress (yay women troubles). The bed didn't have an extra cover between the sheets and the pillowtop, so we ended up with an extra fee for cleaning. The good news, the bed is pristine and sanitary again, but the bad news was that we left with a slightly bitter taste. I do believe Krista is going to put an extra layer of protection over the mattress for future guests, so hopefully no one else will end up in the same predicament.

We loved this place! It was very clean and smelled fresh. It's surrounded by a beautiful wooded area, where we saw seven deer one night. The bed was very comfortable as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a great "stay-cation" since we only live an hour away, but it truly felt like a get-away.

This place is gorgeous! My sister and I were in town for the Adele concert and the Palace and it was very convenient. About a 15 minute drive with traffic, so it was perfect. The finishes are very high end and so modern. The bed was also super comfy!

The pictures say it all. It's that nice. I was on business travel and decided to visit family in this area. Krista did a great job in communicating to me how to get into the unit. A really nice touch (one that I hadn't seen before) were little printed signs located around the place explaining how to use items. Brilliant! After seeing the first sign I looked around for others so I knew how to operate things. Allowed me to become very comfortable very quick. Thanks Krista

Staying at Krista's renovated walk out was great. The pictures posted are exactly what it looks like. The amenities are perfect. She has heated tile in the bathroom :)
