The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Our accommodation is a large, well-equipped attic apartment. In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a 2-person sofa bed, a reading corner, a modern bathroom, and a kitchen. From the bedroom you have great views of the Altshausen Castle. The location is central (various Shops, bakeries and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance) and yet quiet area. You are welcome to use the garden. A beautiful swimming lake is within 10 minutes walking distance.

The Adelindis thermal spa can be reached in Bad Buchau, 5 km away, while other thermal baths are within 25 km. The summer cottage is not suitable for children under 4 and not for people with disabilities, as the sleeping compartment can only be reached via the steep ladder.
