The visit in the Merlini Storti restoration studio gives guests the opportunity see from up close classical and contemporary artworks and experience them through the delicate process of conservation. Valeria Merlini and Daniela Storti, among the leading Italian experts in restoration and conservation, who have restored numerous masterpieces including three paintings by Caravaggio, offer visitors the chance to understand the importance of the artisanal aspect of an artist’s creative work in a journey that will enrich people’s relationship with art. In our atelier, guests will experience art in a direct and intimate way, being able to observe from up close the restorers’ work and learning about the fascinating world of art techniques and materials. At the end of this exclusive artistic experience, we like to offer our guests a small aperitif, that includes a glass of prosecco or wine and a few traditional Italian snacks.

MY FARM three experiences in one day

Immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside with 3 different experiences! We'll meet in Florence, where a driver will take you to our farm in just 45 minutes. What will we do? 1) Walk among country fields, ancient olive trees and vineyards, enjoy the landscape, the plants, the explanation of our history with plenty of opportunities to capture stunning photos.  You may even meet our friendly, domesticated pig! In September taste the grapes! 2) Visit the cellar and taste 5 organic Tuscan wines: white, red, aged straight from the barrel, and "Vin Santo" a classic sweet wine. You’ll also sample our premium olive oil and watch a short film about our mission. You'll have the chance to purchase wines at exclusive cellar prices or order them to ship. 3) The final part is all about making fresh pasta! Raffaella or Laura will teach you how to craft it using authentic techniques, then cook all your pasta together (it won't be possible to do individual cooking) to enjoy it as a group at a long table, just like a traditional Italian family. Our organic wine will accompany the meal. We'll be around 20 participants for an authentic Italian experience. We will walk down further to the Best Preserved Catacombs of Rome, which spread over 17 kilometers of underground caves laid out on four levels. I will introduce you to the early Christian community of Imperial Rome, and of Catholicism in the city between the 2nd and 9th centuries. Ending near the Appia Antica where you are free to continue your Adventures.
