  • We fell in love with location & our hosts. The calm serenity, closeness to the water, spotless room, Tola & Slawek truly have thought of everything to make your stay one of those little escapes you will always remember & treasure.

  • Great place in a beautiful neighborhood, real close to Vashon and Southworth ferry.

    Noah2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for Tola and Slawek, very patient to our questions about where to go and eat. The entire house is incredibly clean and neat, and I personally love the decoration style with lot of details in room, oh, and can't forget the garden where you can explore more in summer and spring. Remind, you may want to rent a car to get in town for daily city tour but this place is very close to the airport so here need yourself to balance. And if you prefer to rent a whole apt/house without sharing public area with the host or anyone else this place maybe not fit for you. I personally like to talk with the host to quickly understand any local culture or travel tips so this one fits me well.

  • Couldn't have been better! Tola is very friendly and accommodating. Great location, and was a quick walk to a private secluded beach. Loved it!

  • Tola and Slawek were absolutely wonderful hosts! We were sad to miss them in the morning but they left a cute note on the door and were a fabulous couple to chat with. We wish we had more time to stay and would highly recommend!

  • Fantastic home to stay in. Tola goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We will definitely stay there is again. Wonderful location and views !

  • Wonderful place, the location is quite yet close to Wilson. Kell and his family were wonderful. The bikes we used were in good shape and handled the small hills with ease. There was a nice record player in the back room we enjoyed. Very enjoyable experience over all.

    Dirk2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and quiet. Short walk from the ferry. A great spot for a casual trip to the island.

    Darren2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • So this place is fantastic! Really quirky decor combined with fully functioning equipment. Starter kit in the fridge as a welcome, and great wifi (very important for a nerd like me!). Location was really beautiful, with a quaint local town in walking distance. Be aware that unless you're ok with a long roundabout route, you will be dependent on the ferry, which does get pretty busy. Otherwise comfortable bed, wifi, parking and a great shower! Ludicrously cheap and Kell was thoughtful but not intrusive. Thank you Kell and family!

    Paula2017-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • The studio and Kell were fantastic! They had paid attention to little details such as stocking the fridge with essentials for the first day. The place was very clean, quiet and well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would like to bring my wife next time I'm back.

    Jeff2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kell was a great host and the studio has a comfortable bed, large bathroom and small frig. I loved the gas fireplace. The location is close to the ferry terminal but feels secluded next to the creek. I will definitely stay here again.

    Landin2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was just perfect! The pictures actually don't give it justice. It was much bigger and had great accommodations! Would love to come back, and Kell was super communicative and helpful!

    Daniella2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay at Kell's studio. I was in town for work and the location was excellent for walking to the ferry terminal and into town. The space was also very cute and quaint. The gas fireplace was my favorite feature and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in front of it drinking my morning coffee. Kell was extremely nice, accommodating and readily available for questions or concerns. The only downside of my stay was the noise from upstairs. The family lives in the space above and unfortunately can't do anything about the noise. But if, like me, you only stay in the top floors of hotels and apartments because you don't like the noise of someone above you, then you will likely not be comfortable with the noise either. Other than that-the space and location was perfect.

    Gwen2018-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot and has everything you'd need. Very close to the Seattle ferry. Host is friendly and communicative. I highly recommend.

Spacious, light filled, private 2-story Guest House, with large kitchen and 1-1/2 bathrooms surrounded by trees, that can host a maximum of 6 guests. We are located close to downtown shops and restaurants and the Seattle/Bainbridge Island ferry. A stunning public beach is a short walk from the house. Relax in the peace and quiet of the surrounding woods, or explore the Island and Seattle. Our guest house will be your home away from home, for as long as you are here.
We are located on 3 acres surrounded by tall evergreen trees. There is parking for 2 cars and a private entrance to the house with a smart-key lock on the front door. We have hardwood floors throughout the living area and both bedrooms. New double-paned windows bring the outdoors inside. Cellular window shades in the living room and bedrooms provide privacy. There is a flat-screen TV in the living room with cable, as well as a DVD player. High Speed Internet/WiFi is included. We have a decent movie collection, or bring your own. We also have an assortment of games and books for your use. The dining table can seat 6, and the kitchen has a peninsula with 4 bar stools. The kitchen has quartz countertops, a gas range with oven and broiler, KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Silverware, utensils, dishes, pots & pans, Keurig Coffee Maker, French Coffee Press, Drip Coffee Maker, blender and toaster, are all provided. In addition to central heat, there is a Vermont Castings wood burning stove in the living room, along with daily firewood and kindling. We refill firewood once a day. If you have young children (0-5) we prohibit use of the wood burning stove, as it gets very hot. We have queen airbed that can be set up upstairs for children. There is a charge for extra laundry when you utilize the air bed with 4 guests or less ($20 per night). We have a high chair and portable crib, as well as children's movies and books. Please be advised that we consider children 0-12 as guests, and must be counted in the total number of guests. You will find a few locked cabinets, where we keep cleaning products and supplies. We do this as a safety measure since we do welcome children.
Our property is at the end of a private lane, surrounded by tall, evergreen trees which provide a private and restful environment. You are welcome to walk on our shared lane, but we ask that you not go in our creek. It is a habitat for owls and other animals. There are many public parks here on the Island, where you can hike. We have maps and local information available. There is a public beach close by, where you can walk for over 1 mile.
  • Very modern and very clean place. Well maintained. Definitely recommend staying here and will again if we visit again.

  • A characterful house in a quiet location within the trees. Kim was welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. The description and previous reviews gave us high expectations, and we were not disappointed!

    Richard2017-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house, great location, cozy with creature comforts. We particularly enjoyed the DVD collection. A perfect place to jump off and enjoy Bainbridge or just to relax and get away!

    Kate2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • You will absolutely love this amazing space. Very spacious, upscale accommodation, private and easy to get to just about anywhere on the Island from this space (car required) ... you won't be disappointed (and I'm a super picky avid traveler) ... Kim is the greatest - great communicator, great host, just great!

    Maurice2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place with a great location on Bainbridge Island. Kim was a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Highly recommend for your next trip.

  • This home is utterly exquisite. The natural light, nature immersion, and peaceful space provided a perfect home base for a weekend reconnecting with my best friend.

    Melinda2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • You will love the privacy of this lovely home. Comfortable easy access to downtown Bainbridge and the Ferry to Seattle. Kim was so welcoming and friendly!

    Lynn2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place away from the busy city but close enough to get there with ease. Won't be the last time we visit Bainbridge and will hopefully stay at the Cedar Tree House again.

  • Andrew and his wife are super super sweet and beyond accommodating. Their ferrets are also super cute and friendly! The room is huge and has everything you could want and the house is located by a pretty little park so you can go walk when you want to. All in all, it was a great stay there!

    Linda2016-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Anja and Andrew for allowing us to share your home. It's a great room in a lovely quiet area. Our 1st airbnb experience was very positive

    Sue2016-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Just what we needed to accommodate our stay in Seattle. Very hospitable with a quick response time. The room was clean and a large space for its price! Very nice family!

    Victor2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Seattle holds a special place in my heart but even more so now that I know about Andrew and Anya’s Airbnb suite! I have stayed at several different places but this place is by far my favorite. The location is wonderful, being only about 15 minutes from the SeaTac and then just another short drive to downtown Seattle. The public transit is just a block up the road so it was incredibly easy to get around. The space was huge and way more than I expected. I truly felt like I had a home away from home and plan on staying here again. I would recommend Andrew and Anya to any of my friends and family.

    Alyssa2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The room is nice and clean, and thanks a lot for everything. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

    Erin2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Close to the Sea-Tac airport, I used über pool and cost only $20.00. Private bathroom is a plus. Netflix account was also a plus. Lockable door to the room, need to ask Andrew for the key. Would stay there again.

    Bryson2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great arrangement. Accommodations were very private and comfortable, yet at the same time, Andrew and Anya were friendly and accessible.

    Chris2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew and Anya were great hosts! Our check in was easy and Andrew messaged me quick details earlier that day. My friend and I walked into a very clean house, complete with our own bathroom. We were provided a mini fridge, microwave, TV, and coffee maker. There was also a drawer that contained games, Seattle brochures and a whole binder of DVD's. The park outside their house is great for jogging. No problem with parking either. If we had any questions, Andrew would promptly respond in less than 30 minutes! During the last night of our stay, we had dinner and played board games with Andrew and Anya. Very lovely couple! Highly recommend their place.

My home is located on the end of a Cul-de-Sac in Suquamish, just 20 minutes to the Bainbridge Island and Kingston ferries, close to bus lines, Poulsbo, and en route to the Olympic Peninsula. You’ll love this home because of the quiet, restorative energy, the meditative spiral gardens and lush PNW air. Offering a comfy full size bed & a relaxed, peaceful ambiance. My place is wonderful for personal retreats & couples, children also welcome. Berries in summer season, coffee and tea, fresh juice.
  • Dori is very nice. I enjoyed my stay in her place. We had long conversations and she did a great healing session with me. Dori introduced me to various organic food, fed me with a vegetarian dinner, made me a simple but delicious brunch. I was looking for an escape from my busy work and life. Staying in her place was what I was looking for. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood. I think I can also use it as a stop if I go to Olympia National Park next time. The house is old and not renovated. I don’t mind it and my overall experience there was positive.

    Dan2018-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Dori has a lovely, if cluttered, home. She was kind enough to prepare us breakfast and was very sociable. Be prepared for a communal experience; introverts seeking a quiet corner may feel a little uncomfortable here.

    Jd2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Location was close to area of reunion and center of Pt Townsend.

    Gerald T2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place is a little old but it feels nice and everything is clean. Dori is very welcoming. Good place to stay between Seattle and Olympic Park.

    Laetitia2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to spend a day.

    Ronald2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dori was such a great host

    Travis2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Come without expectations and leave full-filled in heart and soul. Dori welcomed me generously. Our extended conversations about meaningful and intentional interactions in life, in service to the Universal God and others, resonated deeply. The solitude and quiet times in between nurtured balance and harmony. Dori's spiral gardens delight. Sharing meals fed body, heart and soul. I look forward to my next retreat at Dori's home.

    Daniel2018-06-10T00:00:00Z

Spacious, equipped, and ready for your peaceful getaway, this contemporary, light-filled stylish studio boasts a chef's breakfast bar, private wraparound porch, clawfoot tub & separate walk-in shower. Located on small family run personal farm, we offer organic eggs & produce (and farm fresh goodies such as pickles, jams and meat). Minutes to Vashon town, stone's throw to miles of wooded trails, convenient to beaches, ferries. Seasoned air bnb hosts, islanders, Seattleites and world travelers.
Family-friendly! Queen-size bed, and a pullout couch for the kids. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, including lots of counter space, and has both a breakfast bar and a dining table. Three sets of French doors open onto a sitting deck and lots of greenery. There's an outdoor fireplace to use, a seasonal hammock, plus yoga mats and a collection of some of our favorite books.
The west side of Vashon Island is peaceful and coveted for its afternoon light. Owls can be heard and deer seen in the evening; sheep graze in the pasture down below. Vashon is a bucolic island, just a 20-minute ferry ride from Seattle, boasting bakeries, twice-a-week farmers' markets, garden and farm tours, wineries, cideries, a distillery, hiking and mountain biking trails, great beaches, horse riding, kayaking and more.
  • This is a truly wonderful space and Nic and Kristen were extremely warm and helpful hosts. Not only is the accommodation itself very comfortable with everything you need for your stay but Nic and Kristen also when the extra mile with little touches, whether it was some helpful hints about where to go or what to do or to bring around some of Nic's homemade cider (which was refreshingly delicious). I would definitely stay here again!

    Michael2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This Vashon Island retreat was everything Nic and Kristen states it is. Good size, private, out of town yet not far to what we needed. Enjoyed our week.

    Dean2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a lovely place to stay at. It has all the amenities. Nic and Kristen were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire stay. They provided all the local information and helped us navigate the island, especially when we didn’t have a car (car is recommended for your stay on Vashon). The patio is a great place to get some work done and also star gaze at night. Thanks for the stay!!

    Sharon2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nic and Kristen's space has everything you need, and if you need more of anything they will get it right to you. While we were there, they brought us a dozen fresh eggs and a bowl of tomatoes. It was very clean and comfortable.

    Kristina2018-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Nic and Kristin's studio on Vashon. Nic was there to greet us when we arrived and answer any questions we had. The studio was perfect and a peaceful getaway from a day in Seattle. We would definitely stay there again!

    Stacey2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay at Nic and Kristens. We were able to enjoy some time relaxing on the cottage deck and all the amenities were there for us to make breakfast in the morning before we had the leave/ Communication was quick and easy and they provided us with some great tips on island happenings. Recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay on the island!

    Jeremy2016-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great space with cozy bed, claw foot tub, great kitchen, privacy, artistic touches. Host was welcoming and unobtrusive. We didn’t want to leave and spent most of our weekend in the cottage as it was such a sweet place to hang out!

    Dell2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Nic & Kristen's studio cottage. It was a perfect setting for the quiet, low-key getaway we had in mind, and included a number of unexpected "extras" for our toddler son (great collection of wooden toys, train set, kids books, mini Adirondack chair). Despite being out of town for our stay, Nic & Kristen managed to be thoughtful and attentive hosts from afar, including sending updates on ferry schedules and offering fresh eggs. We would definitely visit again!

Suited for driving commuters with a car who are looking for a quick stay without laundry or kitchen accommodations. Travelers can re-energize overnight on the 3rd floor bedroom of our humble townhouse. The big hallway bathroom is shared. In cold weather, the shower water might not be very hot (depending on how cold the weather is and who is showering in the other bathrooms). Do not book if you are uncomfortable with our fluffy, friendly doggies. We're not near the airport! :)
A modest single bedroom with a 9 inch memory foam mattress. The bed is a queen & fits 2 adults comfortably. There is a corner desk, a chair, a lamp, a mini fridge and assorted snacks are included with your room. The room has vaulted ceilings, an outdoor deck, and generous closet space. The bedroom is on the 3rd floor so stairs are unavoidable. The master bathroom is SHARED. The bathroom is just slightly down the hall from your bedroom and connected to our room directly in a Jack & Jill set up. We have well stocked toiletries on the counter and in the drawers. The master bathroom has a tub, two sinks, and the 'loo' is partition off in a smaller room. The bathroom has locks on every door. The main living room is open to all guests who stay with us. *No KITCHEN - like stoves etc. (Getting water is ok. Microwave is in the living room!) *No driveway parking. *No laundry.
We are at the edge of Haller Lake in North Seattle. You will immediately notice the majestic evergreens sprinkled throughout our neighborhood. It is a quiet unpretentious residential neighborhood. The terrain is relatively flat. We are in upper North Seattle near downtown Shoreline. On I-5 in normal traffic we are a 15 minute drive from downtown Seattle & 30 minute drive from the SeaTac airport. Overall it is a sleepy suburban neighborhood with the exception of a bustling roadway that will grant you quick access to everything Seattle has to offer. Commuting in North Seattle with a car would be best. We are within good proximity to Northacres Dog Park, Interurban Trail, City of Shoreline, Greenlake, Northgate Mall. Easy access to I-5.
  • Lily's was exactly what we needed for the night. A nice quiet room to stop on our way through town, with an AMAZINGLY comfortable bed. Just as advertised and perfect for our night.

    Carrie2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • I loved this stay! The room was beautiful and clean decorated with lots of white. It felt refreshing and cozy to come home to after a long conference weekend. The bed is SUPER COMFY memory foam - that was the best sleep I've had in a while. Lily was really quick and concise with communication. Also there was a mini fridge in the room with a delicious muffin for breakfast. This was easily worth the price! The place is about 4 blocks from the bus stop but the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. All in all it was a great stay and perfect for what I needed.

    Jamie2017-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay here. They made everything so comfortable and were really great at communicating! Not to mention, the location is so close to the freeway and is ~15 minute drive to anywhere you'd want to explore in Seattle. Thanks so much!!!

West Seattle is a sought-after neighborhood that is perfect for foodies, shoppers, families, adventurers, and those visiting the city and the Great Northwest—all within 15 minutes of downtown.
  • Great space in a nice neighborhood. Well done decor. Would defined return!

  • What a delightful gem in the city yet away from it all in a quiet little neighborhood in West Seattle. I stayed there on a Thursday recently and was greeted by the host, Sarah. who showed me to the studio. She was friendly and helpful, and had left information about the area's restaurants. Though a studio, the apartment felt spacious with its pitched ceilings. Everything was wonderfully new and sparkling clean. The bed is comfy. I didn't try the couch bed but it seemed a nice addition if there are more than two staying. The kitchen was well appointed with all appliances. My stay was short so I didn't need much except the coffee pot! Cute little bathroom with tub and shower. Loved all the amenities. This apartment is situated in back of the family home. It is above their garage and has an outside stairway entrance. It is very private. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Seattle area. There is shopping nearby. West Seattle's restaurants and shops are a few block walking distance and Seattle downtown is 10 minutes away. Thank you, Sarah! I'll be back for sure!!

  • Comfortable and great location! For our first time in Seattle, it was perfect. We were able to walk to the grocery store and restaurants, as well as easily access the public bus route to get around and head into downtown. Sarah & Mark were great hosts - very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The listing was just as described and provided a relaxing and private space to come back to after a day of exploring.

    Samantha2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time using Airbnb and it couldn't have gone any better. Sarah and Mark were great hosts. Sarah had great communication with me the entire time and checked in through out the week to see if we needed anything. Having never visited Seattle before, I appreciated the recommendations she provided. Their place was in the best location, close to everything but far enough away that you didn't feel you were in the business of downtown all the time. The room was clean and fresh. It was the perfect place for a relaxing get away! We would recommend this location to anyone! Thanks Sarah and Mark!

    Victoria2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah and Mark are very communicative throughout the process. The place is beautifully decorated and there's even a drawer of menus with notes and restaurant recommendations on them which was very helpful! We didn't know much about Seattle but we're glad we booked in West Seattle, a lot of cool restaurants and shops without a lot of congestion. Its also really close to a water taxi which takes you to the touristy areas. Would definitely book again!

    Eliciana2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's cottage in West Seattle was beautiful, airy and accommodating. Everything seemed brand new and very carefully designed to be welcoming, colorful and comfortable. A perfect weekend spot for a couple or even a 3 women 'girls' trip. The Keurig was a nice and welcoming touch complete with a carton of local milk in the fridge and some chilled water. Sarah was so kind when one of us became ill. She gave us directions and references to nearby physicians and pharmacies and she checked in frequently to make sure she was ok. All in all a perfect and welcoming place to stay. One thing to note is that we found that the cottage is not ideal for Seattle explorers without a car. There are some shops and coffee/food places within .5 miles, but it seemed to be a 20 minute drive to get to most Seattle downtown neighborhoods. Luckily we had a few friends who were willing to pick us up and drive us around, but we would have been disappointed if we had to rely on the public transportation to explore the city for the first time.

    Erin2016-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the cottage! The location is so perfect! And Sarah was so sweet and easy to communicate with. I'm so OCD when it comes to cleanliness and this place was spotless!! Smelled clean too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Dorenda2017-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in Sarah & Mark's backyard cottage! The cottage is exactly as described and in the pictures. The space is super light and very sunny! We really enjoyed our stay - it's the perfect location to explore Seattle and the area around Seattle by car. Parking in the street was easy and their neighbourhood in West Seattle is very quiet. Public transport to the center of Seattle was super easy to access as well, just a short walk through the neigbouhood to catch an express bus that takes you downtown. We can absolutely recommend to stay at Sarah & Mark's place! We felt very welcome and at home. Thanks again for having us!

  • Brilliant place! I truly enjoyed my holiday at Lars' place. Walking distance to bus stop for bus #62 downtown + nice cafe'/restaurant and bookshop! The studio itself was nice and quiet. Everything worked; warm water, shower, internet. Comfortable bed. Lars and the dogs were super friendly hosts.

    Laila2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! I had read some reviews that there was a musky smell but did not smell it myself. Lars was Very kind and even left chocolates for us. There is plenty of room and the kitchen was super convenient! We were super close to UW so we were able to walk/bike to the football game. I would absolutely stay here again!

    Karly2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Small but very peaceful and quiet.

    Virginia2017-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lars has been one of the best host I've ever encountered in Aibnb. He gave us a lot of tips just when we got in Seattle, and there was so many thoughtful details in the house to make our stay easier that we actually spent more time in house that we initially planned (heavy rain helped with the decision, too :)). Regarding the neighborhood, it is a safe, lovely one, with lots of options in terms of cozy cafes and restaurants. It is not far from the city center if you go by car (12 minutes), but even if you don't have one there are many options by public transport.

    Maria2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • A peaceful and calming setting in an urban space. Easy access to various parts of Seattle. Lars was very friendly and helpful.

    Sheila2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lars was a wonderful host. He made us feel extremely welcome and was readily available if we had any questions. Great person to work with!

    Lisa2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lars's place is of great value! Well equipped, big, comfortable and clean. Also it's easy to contact with Lars, he is also very nice and helpful!

    Yvonne2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lars' place was great! He was a great host and welcomed us late at night. The place is clean, convenient, and secluded with a lot of beautiful plants all around. It is walkable, about a mile, to the University, where you can catch the LINK ride or busses. Ravenna is BEAUTIFUL, with lots of beautiful landscapes and quiet. Lars made us great recommendations which we took all of and ended up having such a great time. Highly recommend the place for the location, the feel and the host!

It is a total paradise and a place to totally get away from it all. Breathtaking view of Hood canal from every room of the house or from the expansive many level decks. Make your way down the staircase to the beach where you can swim, fish, crab, or paddle out in the kayaks . On the front deck relax in the hot tub, sauna, in the cool evenings sit at the fire pit outside, This is an amazing getaway that will be unforgettable-you will definitely feel like you are on vacation here
The three separate rooms offer an amazing view of the Hood Canal. From the living room you can gaze out on the sunrise or on the expansive porch that you can hang out on or at the BBQ on the outside covered deck with the table and propane heater or relaxing in the hot tub. The access down to the beach is an easy way down with decks to stop enjoy the view. You can clam on the beach or go out on kayaks and paddle just down the beach to the Dosewallips Wildlife Estuary or
This is a quiet neighborhood, it is right off hwy 101 with a little land and road between. It is a small town with a gas station, bar, restaurant, general store and that’s about it. There is hiking and many water sports in the area. If you bring your food you will never want to leave.
  • Beautiful, cozy space with a gorgeous view. I can’t think of anything more fantastic than their hot tub overlooking the water in the evening and kayaking in the morning. Perfect in every way.

    Alexandra2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location with amazing views. Better than we expected.

    Kevin2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic house, perfect with split plan for our daughter, hubby and 2 kids on one side with their full bath and another lovely bedroom and bath on the other. The views to the water from high up make the stairs worth the climb. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out the best. Plenty of towels, all you could possibly want or need in the kitchen. Great for indoor and outdoor eating too.

    Mary2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the fire pit, closeness to the beach, and the house slept everyone comfortably! The sauna, hot tub, and kayaks were a huge bonus. We would definitely love to return for another enjoyable weekend with gorgeous views!

  • Fantastic spot with beautiful views. We loved it and had a wonderful stay. Hot tub was fabulous!

    Anna2018-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time in your home for the night. We all wish we could have stayed longer. We unfortunately had pretty rainy weather, so we weren’t able to use the fire pit....next time! The view was amazing and the deck was endless. We spent most of our time in the jacuzzi. Thank you for allowing us to use your home!

    Haley2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • We saw seals everyday on the canal. We would wake up to the most beautiful view we have ever witnessed at an air bnb and make coffee and watch the sunrise. We could have stayed here longer than four nights easily. The hot tub overlooking the water was incredible. The beds were comfy and the space had great energy and we loved being there. Great for smaller groups since quiet time is at 9pm. Not the place if you are a loud bunch at night. We hiked Mt. Baker, Murhut falls and a must is the Hamma Hamma Osyters! There is not a grocery store within at least a half hour....just cute little general stores so either be prepared and bring your food/meals or you can easily eat at restaurants. Incredible space. Best air bnb we have been to in the last five years! Thank you!!

    Sarah Jane2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The selling point for this place is the view and it exceeded expectations. We had a wonderful family night looking out at the Hood Canal from the back porch. Nits would be no air conditioning (understandable given the location but fans to help cool the house at night would have been nice), it was difficult to find, and the kitchen is small and dated.

  • Stylish apartment, beautiful scenery, and perfect location. Kell was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome on the island and enjoy our stay.

    Kailee2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised. Great family of hosts renovating older home tucked in rapidly developing area of million dollar homes. Comfortable accommodations, well worth the price. Huffed a little up the hill, but walked to ferry in 14 minutes.

    Lawrence2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean apartment in a quiet secure neighborhood. The price alone compared to other properties and hotels in the Seattle area would rate 5 stars. Kell is quick to answer any questions and the house is well maintained. There is a huge wrap sround deck with a grill the is perfect for the evening meal. The home is on Bainbridge Island so plan ferry time and cost into your trip. We would definitely stay here again, as would the couple traveling with us.

    Gary2017-09-01T00:00:00Z

  • Great space on Bainbridge close to some bars/restaurants and a short hop to the rest of the island (beaches, hiking, etc). It's "near-urban" but in a quiet peaceful neighborhood near a large park.

    Richard2018-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great space. Comfortable, cozy, and clean. Perfect location for enjoying all that Bainbridge has to offer. Kell is a great host and had thoughtful extras like coffee in the grinder, rain boots on the porch and he even brought out little nets for our girls to use down at the water. We had a wonderful time!

In the heart of Manette situated above a Salon is this fun, fabulously decorated, contemporary Cape Cod style house with breathtaking views! The colorful, upbeat decor will make you cheerful even during the gray days of Washington. Less than a mile from the Seattle Ferry and in walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shops, Manette is the perfect little escape from the city. A nice quiet place to stay with access to downtown Seattle via a 60 minute ferry ride.
Full kitchen with top of the line appliances, stairs to the bathroom and bedroom, a fun "round" bed about the size of a queen. Air conditioned bedroom makes for a very comfortable sleep on hot days!
Manette is a quaint little town within the city of Bremerton. There are bars, shops, and dining within a short walk from the house.
  • This definitely is a find. The space is very inspiring if you are trying to get any kind of creative work done-- writing, art work, etc. Its the perfect balance between a quite place and still having some life and amenities around. Definitely the best value for dollar I have had in airbnb experiences.

    Saba2018-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • An amazingly stylish place to stay! Incredibly worth the value. More spacious than it seems too!

    Charles2018-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a true gem!! It’s way bigger than the pictures let on and it’s bright and airy with all the windows (even in the pouring rain!) we were shocked two days into our trip when the skies cleared and the living room window gave way to spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains! Plenary of towels, comfortable bed, and a kitchen you could cook a gourmet meal in....and if cooking’s not your thing, there are a ton of super cute and tasty local places within 5 minutes. Seriously the nicest Airbnbive stayed at in the US!

    Amanda2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place! Cozy and comfortable. Very nice hosts.

    Rita2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • This house is amazing, and very large. It has comfortable furnishings, and plenty of extra touches to make you feel welcome. The walk across the bridge into downtown Bremerton is really enjoyable - a perk, not a drawback.

    Emmon2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Rent this place immediately. My best friend and I came out to Bremerton for a wedding and found this awesome place just over the bridge from downtown Bremerton. Really easy 15 walk from the ferry terminal, or a 5 minute Uber. Just around the corner from a couple neighborhood coffee shops and bars so no need to drive anywhere for coffee, dinner or snacks. The house itself is quiet and peaceful. Check-in was super easy, Terry and Amber were prompt on getting in touch with us and the house itself is stunning. Incredibly well decorated, comfortable everything, super clean and looks like a photo studio. The color combination is bold and fits perfectly. Everything about the place was intentional. Love the window shades, the view of the water/bridge/Olympic mountains, the sense of space is great and even though it’s listed as one bedroom the couch on the top floor is great if you want separate beds. The mattress in the bedroom is super comfortable too.

    David2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Best place in Bremerton! The view was spectacular. I was gifted with amazing sunrises and sunsets. I’m clear days, you can see the olympics in all their glory. The place is so thoughtfully decorated, and the record player was such an awesome addition. It’s comfortable, modern, clean, and overall an amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Our home is hand crafted using traditional Japanese techniques, and offers many places to relax and enjoy the views inside and out. We hope our guests enjoy the serenity and beauty of our home and land as much as we do. There are many varieties of trees on the grounds, visited by countless birds. A 15 minute drive from the Seattle ferry, we think it is the perfect escape from city hustle, or the ideal launch pad for Bainbridge Island and Kitsap county exploration.
The setting adds a feeling of calm and serenity to your stay. The acreage around the property gives almost complete privacy. This kind of privacy is hard to find, even on Bainbridge Island. This house is ideal to hold a tea ceremony or a small meditation or yoga retreat. Please check with us about special arrangements if you would like to use the space in this way.
11 private acres surrounded by farmland. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEMZn8oC8lY
  • What an amazing and lovely house. A beautiful gem in the woods, with easy access to Winslow and Ferry Terminal. My wife and I could have just stayed at the house and grounds for our time on Bainbridge Island and felt like we had a full experience. The house really is special, built by a master craftsman from Kyoto, it has a transcendent affect and would provide a fantastic retreat. Kitchen, bathrooms, and guest house information were all top notch. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. My wife took the bus into town one day, when I had business in Seattle, and that was easy and convenient--a short walk to the bus stop. We would go back in a heartbeat. Very highly recommended!!!

    Derek2017-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a place to stay on Bainbridge Island look no further. The house is both beautifully built and maintained. At this price it’s a great value. You are kind of isolated, as the review states it’s on 11 acres, but it’s the perfect place for solitude and relaxation. It’s probably a 10 minute drive from the house to the main stretch in Winslow.

    Sadie2017-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Located on 11-private acres this home is absolutely stunning. Our first family trip to Bainbridge Island couldn’t have been any lovelier - the unique, Japanese designed/themed home is simply magical. Quiet, private, It’s a bird sanctuary...zen redefined. Kelly (house manager) was a wonderful communicator and added to the overall experience greatly. Will be back again...and again!

    James2018-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • What a total gem! A true Japanese home - totally zen and beautiful.

    Daniel2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed twice here and I love it ! the serenity and quietness of the place is exactly want you need if your looking to retreat away from stress and noise. the house has a very warm essence and the tools in the kitchen are great! the only thing is that the tub is slow draining. if you are coming with a party of more than 1 person keep in mind that only one of you might be able to take a bath. other than that everything about the house is amazing. definitely recommend it

    Ruben2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at this tranquil and unique home. Tucked behind a birch grove down a gravel road, this Japanese house is the perfect retreat to get some rest, clear your mind, and catch up on reading. The architectural details of the house are incredible. We probably spent the first 30 minutes just admiring the woodwork! And every window is like a picture window (even the one in the bathroom!), with views of the trees and green landscape. The lighting in the home is beautiful at all times of the day. A few days before our trip, Kelly sent us very helpful instructions on how to unlock and enter the house, and overall found it to be a comfortable, clean, and relaxing place to stay. My partner and I slept in the downstairs bedroom, while our friend took the daybed, and we all slept comfortably. The hosts left the home stocked with all of the necessities, so we cooked most of our meals and ate outside at the picnic table. The house is a short drive from the ferry terminal, but when you're there, the city feels far away. In fact, we felt like we had gone to the Japanese countryside for the weekend, and we would definitely go back!

    Catherine2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at this beautiful Japanese home. A brief ferry ride from Seattle, this home is easily accessible and close to a number of great places to visit on the island, as well as Kitsap Peninsula. One of our favourite parts of the home is the washroom. The traditional Japanese shower set up reminded us of our visit to an onsen in the forests of Japan. The light-filled space and beautiful woodwork are a delight. And the spacious kitchen allowed us to cook while watching the snow fall gently outside. When an unexpected power outage occurred across the island, Arne and Kelly were incredibly responsive in making sure that we knew what to expect and how to manage the outage, including finding the lanterns provided for this type of issue. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Carey does a a great job of leaving the tenant to his/her privacy. We had a baby so we were a little bummed to have a barking dog just outside our window. I don't think this is a normal occurrence. Marley was such a sweet dog but she was in her kennel looking at us and barking, and then once we were in bed, whining for her owner most likely to come home. (I think she is normally upstairs with Carey) Needless to say we had a long day of travel and did not get much rest. Our baby actually did, thankfully, so maybe one room is less noisy than the other from upstairs noise. This home has floors like an apartment, so you do hear quite a bit of shuffling going on upstairs and any conversations going on. With all that said, you will NOT find a better place for this price on what I consider to be paradise and an exceptional view. Carey could charge double in my opinion. It's like living in a floating treehouse surrounded by lush greens and a view of the inlet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and can't thank Carey enough for his hospitality.

  • This property is very clean and having two bedrooms is a real plus. There is also a futon type bed for children. The location is quiet. Carey is accommodating and pleasant. You will need GPS to find the house. There is a ping pong table, WiFi, washer/dryer if needed. I would stay here again.

  • Carey was awesome. He was very hospitable and asked us not only how we liked the place but if there's anything we would improve on. Great guy and super reasonably priced! I would love to stay there again

    Jacob2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a delightful stay at Carey's place! The house is truly set in nature, with big cedar trees right up to the house and a spacious view out to the water, looking out the window it had the feeling of being in a treehouse. Guests have the whole bottom floor, including two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchenette/bar area, and large living room. Carey was an amazing host, responding right away to all of my questions, and very accommodating. He had set up the kitchenette with everything we might need in the morning for coffee, tea, and bagels. A five star experience, I would definitely stay with Carey again!

    Samantha2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, good price and he had bagels and coffee provided and it saved us when we got back and in the morning and allowed us more time to spend with our friends instead of rushing out in the morning. Check in was informative and quick and Carey is extremely kind.

    Ruthie2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. Very cozy place. Felt like staying at an Uncles house in the woods. Carey is a great host that is very responsive to needs.

    Sarah2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Carey is considerate, communicates very well, is responsive, and helpful. Carey's Airbnb offers nicely furnished rooms with fresh bedding, spacious accommodations, extra touches, breakfast fare, coffee, WIFI, and a quiet peaceful property to explore. This home is waterfront with a beach and dock, too.

    Lori2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious apartment with a nice view of the water. Very serene surroundings. Carey was very easy to communicate with and added some extra touches to make our stay wonderful. He provided bagels, cream cheese, coffee, tea and there was even cold beer in the fridge. We all enjoyed playing the ping pong table. This place was much more spacious than it looked via pictures and had everything we needed. We are very mobile, so it was no problem for us, but it does have a lot of stairs and might be harder to enter and exit if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, it's the perfect getaway spot for anyone.

A short walk takes you to Eagle Harbor, Port Blakely Harbor, trails connecting to Fort Ward Park’s 137-acre marine park, and the marketplace at Lynwood Center. Islandwood’s Environmental Learning Center and Hey Dey Farm are also neighbors.
  • We stayed at Caroline's place for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The accommodations are luxurious first class, and the host, Caroline, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. We highly recommend the Little Farm House to anyone looking for a beautiful but peaceful place to stay on Bainbridge Island!

    Bob2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is simply lovely. Caroline made clear she was in easy reach should we need anything at all but we found we had nothing to contact her about as everything was so thoughtfully set up for us. This was a very comfortable, clean and peaceful place to stay. We highly recommend it!

    Alexandra2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at The Little Farmhouse. A beautiful house in bucolic Bainbridge Island. A great place to unwind...even for our dog! :-)

    Ian2018-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved every moment in this beautiful, clean, modern architectural farmhouse. Caroline the owner provided everything we needed and made our stay easy. The beds were comfy with down covers and the bath and kitchen were clean and new with all the amenities we needed to make ourselves so comfortable with a roaring fire and nice glass of wine. We could even hear the cows mooing across the street. The farmhouse was so close to the great shops and restaurants downtown. We spent all day strolling the streets. Day trips to Poulsbo and Port Gamble were a short drive north. I would definitely come back to this perfect spot on Bainbridge.

Your space features 2 separate bedrooms that sleeps 3-4 people. One is a very *small* bedroom with a full size bed and the other is a serene larger bedroom with a queen bed. We are at the edge of Haller Lake near Shoreline. You will immediately notice the majestic evergreens sprinkled throughout our neighborhood. It is a quiet unpretentious residential neighborhood. The terrain is relatively flat. We are in upper North Seattle near downtown Shoreline. Our house is a 15 minutes car ride (w/o traffic) from downtown Seattle. Overall it is a sleepy suburban neighborhood with the exception of a bustling roadway that will grant you quick access to everything Seattle has to offer. Commuting in North Seattle with a car would be best. We are within good proximity to Northacres Dog Park, Interurban Trail, City of Shoreline, Greenlake, Northgate Mall or a quick 15 minute drive to downtown Seattle! Easy access to I-5.
  • My stay was amazing !! Lily had muffins waiting for us when we arrived and there was water and beer in the fridge. The house was easy to find and very clean, the attention was UHMAZING whenever I asked her a question she would respond like right away. There was also driveway parking available! It took us like 20 minutes to go to downtown and it was super easy to find your way around. Overall my stay was everything I expected and more and I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Seattle!

The bedrooms are far apart and awkward to communicate with your travel companion especially since you need to keep your bedroom doors closed so the heat doesn’t escape. The front dour being next to one of the bedrooms is awkward going to the shower and back. Overall I slept well, it was quie

  • Everything about Lily's place is perfect: location, cleanliness, comfort, etc. Lily is also very easy to communicate with which is very nice and she leaves clear, understandable rules for everything! My brother and I couldn't have asked for better hosts. We both got our own rooms and space which were clean, cozy and private. Lily, her husband and pup were so quiet we never knew when they were there. We felt like we were in our own home. I would highly recommend Lily's place to anybody, it is very close to attractions and anything else you may need. If needed, Lily's place will be the first I check for availability! Thank you, Lily!

  • This place is beautiful and pretty much flawless in design. Fantastic open interior space opens out to a lovely gravel area with loungers, table and bbq. The outdoor tub is quirky and fantastic. House was exceptionally clean and wonderfully decorated. Quiet area about 10mins by car from the main town. A small area of shops and restaurants is a couple of minutes away. 10 minute walk to a lovely beach. The only issue we had was that the range vent hood in the kitchen wasn’t working. We contacted vacasa (large management company that lets it on behalf of owner) - they promised a call back within a hour, no call came in. Called again the next day, same promise and again no call. Later that evening the west coast manager called back. Not the best service ever. Honestly prefer other Airbnb arrangements where you deal directly with the owner or a small local rep. The west coast manager was great tho and explained our trouble ticket had gone to the wrong place. We still used the stove a tiny bit, but the weather was so good we mainly bbq’d. Would certainly rent again on a heartbeat

  • A beautiful, secluded & private property, perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway. Lots of nice touches & amenities to make you feel at home. Steps away from shops and parks, and a short drive into town.

  • This home is nothing short of amazing. My wife and I spent a few nights here with our best friends and we all were in love with the home. For those who love to cook, you'll enjoy the entire kitchen space as well as grill. For those who love bath and reading, you will thoroughly enjoy the inside and outside baths that are fully functioning and the outdoor space is so peaceful at anytime of day. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood which was nice and never an issue for playing low music in the evening with the doors open. You can walk to a local beach in just about an eight minute walk as well as about a 15 minute walk to Lynwood center. Viking Taxi is also readily available and will almost always as for about 20 minutes to get to you, ask for Tim who is a wonderful human that showed us the most amazing view of Seattle at night time. Overall couldn't have been more happy with this home. I would definitely stay hear again if I ever find myself back in the area.

  • A beautiful location matched only by the incredibly beautiful and peaceful home! We stayed for 5 days and would absolutely come back for 5 more. The house has every amenity you can hope for, and is the perfect place to relax and unplug. Located extremely close to a local market, one screen movie theatre, and shops/restaurants if you get bored, otherwise just take it all in and breathe!

Small home on a hill above Kitsap Lake. Lake access is a short (<10min) walk down the hill. Guests have their own bathroom which is off the main hallway. Easy access to the Ferry to Seattle. Fire pit and covered outside seating area. Pool table and bar. Free wifi and HBO. Pets welcome. Sorry, no AC. LGBT friendly.
The house has three bedrooms. The master is mine, and I use the third as an office/study. Guests use the second. Its small with pkenty of closet space for a few nights stay. Guests usually love the back patio and yard with the fire pit most, and the pool table next. Guests are free to use both.
I live in a culdesac near a lake. My neighbors are the best. It's quiet and friendly. There's a bar and diner that are a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) away, and downtown Bremerton (and the ferry to Seattle) is about ten minutes away.
  • Kasey's place is located in a beautiful and safe little neighborhood. As you arriva and leave his place you're treated to nice views of the lake and the Olympic Mountains. His place is clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, sheets smooth as butter, thick towels, and fresh coffee in the morning. Kasey himself is welcoming, friendly, and seeks to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend Kasey's place and we will definitely stay with him again the next time that we need accommodations in Bremerton.

There was a binder full of extensive info on local tips and day trips, and FAQ about the listing. The view from Casey's street is stunning too, overlooking the water.

I am happy to offer my space for the budget conscious, and enjoy being able to accommodate groups of travellers, and families who want to visit Seattle, but not break the bank! My home is perfect for 4-8 people, but can accommodate up to 10 or 11, with all of the extra sleeping spaces available (and bed sharing). A light continental breakfast is included, as well as full use of the Laundry room, and free parking!
I have worked hard to create a comfortable, clean, functional and inviting environment for guests. Everything in the home has been arranged to be traveler friendly, based on my own AirBnB travels throughout the world and here in the USA. The home is located in the Highland Park neighborhood situated in the South West Seattle area, the home is convenient to Downtown Seattle & SeaTac airport, w/easy access to the I5/509/99 Hwys. The property itself has been updated and is well maintained, boasting an open floor plan with plenty of sleeping space for the family. The yard has fruit trees and grass, while the drive way offers free and secure parking directly in front of the home. My home is a great budget option for those looking for a convenient place to sleep, without the hefty hotel prices!
The neighborhood is generally quiet and not a lot of noise from either neighbor, on both sides. There are a few parks within walking distance if you want to take a walk or run. In the nearby White Center neighborhood, you will find one of the most diverse dining options outside of Downtown Seattle, with tons of different options!
  • Great place to stay. Very convenient to the airport. Very clean and met all expectations. Highly recommend.

  • The host was very welcoming and had fresh fruits for us upon our arrival. The description and the photos the home were accurate. Our stay was very enjoyable.

  • I would love to rate and review our stay but unfortunately when we checked in at 1:30 am the house hadn't been cleaned and we could not stay. As it was so late we couldn't reach our host so we had to make other arrangements. Marcus refunded the fee first thing in the morning and graciously apologized.

  • This is a cozy, beautiful home and it was centrally located, which made it so easy to get to places. The house was very clean and the essentials in the fridge was a great help. It was perfect for our family, and kid friendly. Marcus responded quickly when I had questions, and check in/out instructions were clear. We would stay here again!

    Bernadette2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time. This was perfect for our plans and group size. Great location!

  • Marcus's place was wonderful, very comfortable and clean!

    Naomi2017-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Marcus' place was perfectly located between downtown and the airport - great for what we needed. This isn't the type of neighborhood where your kids can play out front (cars drive by very quickly) and it's not walkable to coffee shops/restaurants. It was fine for us cause we were just staying for a night before heading to the aiport the next morning. Lots of beds, fans in every room! There's shared laundry on-site and Marcus was very accommodating to allow me to "cut in line" to do a load since we were leaving early the next morning. Communication was great! Only drawback was that one of the beds is noisy and uncomfortable - squeaks and creaks at every movement.

  • Excellent experience for us. Sean was an outstanding host, and the home was even more impressive than pictured. A perfect view, as well as a calm and peaceful place. We would recommend this property to anyone needing a nice retreat.

  • Great place to stay! Beautiful view and very friendly hosts!

    Alisha2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • It's a room in their home, and I was initially worried it would feel intrusive or like I had to socialize. I had nothing to worry about! They were welcoming and friendly without being invasive or making me feel out of place. Overall a great experience !

    Michelle2018-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Sean and Brenda are kind, attentive and gracious hosts. I enjoyed my stay!

    Hannah2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying with Sean and Brenda! They are warm and generous hosts. The patio had incredible views and my husband and I stayed out all evening reading and talking. What a wonderful and refreshing getaway! We will come back again.

    Noelle2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sean and Brenda were so kind, welcoming and helpful. Their home is settled on a beautiful, expansive, zen-like property. It is very clean, cozy and unique - we loved all the small touches you had throughout the kitchen, rooms and bathrooms! Thank you for sharing your home with us, we loved our stay in the Poulsbo area. Also, your tea selection and smoothie recipe were impressive to say the least! We would love to stay here again!

    Alisha2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • This home was absolutely incredible!! You will not find a home more unique and the views were just as spectacular. As far as the hosts… They were amazing!! My vacation plans changed which resulted in me requesting a last-minute reservation at this home. The hosts were more than accommodating and made me feel welcome beyond belief. The views from the guest bedroom… which has its own upper floor… Were spectacular!! My stay at this home was about half the price I would've paid at a local hotel for a plain one bedroom. I am currently an Airbnb host and I'm so thankful to have learned so many things from this husband / wife team. I cannot wait to come back again!!

    Darren2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the best places I have stayed in. The hosts are awesome and the place is cozy and squeaky clean. It also has been setup pretty stylishly for the spiritually inclined. Highly recommend it for a short or a long stay.

My house location is south of Seattle with Puget Sound views. It is conveniently 10 minutes to Seattle International Airport and only 10 miles to Seattle's downtown. The bedroom is on the second floor of the hidden gem home that is unique, clean, and exotic. This room are 2 Japanese tatami style beds with ocean view and a shared bathroom. You will have everything you need during your stay, including WiFi, kitchen, free coffee/tea, and stunning ocean view deck.
Shorewood on the Sound neighborhood in a serene setting overlooking the Puget Sound and Vashon Island. Less than 10 minutes away is located Olde Burien, which is Burien's quaint downtown area with many ethnic restaurants and shops, A wonderful alternative to downtown Seattle, less crowded with ample free parking. An 8 minute drive will take you to the Vashon Island ferry dock where you can enjoy one of the Seattle's unique highlights, a ride on one of the famous Seattle ferries. Short 10 minute drives will take you to some amazing local parks around the neighborhood such as Seahurst Park, which display why Seattle's nickname is the "Emerald City". Seattle Metro bus stop is located just 10 minute walk from the house, and it's easy and convenient to everywhere in Seattle area ( to downtown Seattle only 40 minutes by bus)
A safe and quite neighborhood that is very popular with dog walkers, joggers, and walkers enjoying the views.
  • It was very nice to stay there. The communication was really good and their gave us really good recommendations for Seattle. Unfortunately it is far away from the downtown, bus stations and supermarkets. All in all super nice people but it would be good if you have a car.

    Magdalena2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view! I took a walk in the neighborhood in the morning and it was wonderful! Everything was labeled and clear, so it was easy and comfortable when I arrived late from the airport! The place could not have been more clean, it was immaculate!! Define worth the stay even if just for the night!

    Celestine2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • darling home with an incredible view.

    Michelle2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing deal for staying such a luxurious home. You will have to take your shoes off in the mudroom, that's how the place stays clean. :)

    Eugenie2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the Kyoto Room! It was a little smaller than we originally thought but there was still enough room for 3 suitcases & 2 backpacks. Getting our bags up and down the steep stairs was not a walk in the park & I would not recommend the upstairs rooms in her house for those with trouble climbing steps. The bathroom was large however it is shared, therefore morning could get tricky with the other guests. John was a great help when we first arrived & offered some hot spots to visit in Seattle.

    Elizabeth2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Liang was a very courteous host, she greeted us at the door, gave all our instructions and gave us privacy. House was comfortable, we were on the second floor to share a bathroom with 2 other rooms which was not very problematic. Our room, Kyoto Room, was basic as described, a little warm at night, but fine. Good stay overall!

We stock our fridge with some essentials (complimentary) like bottled water, sparkling water, orange juice, greek yogurt. May include some seasonal fruit, instant oatmeal, and food items. Sample distances from the house: 15 min walk to Uw 15 min walk to Gasworks Park 4 min walk to Lake Union, somewhat steep downhill 12 min to Wallingford Playfield 9 min drive or 30 min by bike trail to Union Bay Nature Area Busstop right outside the home (300ft) . A charming Wallingford close to the University of Washington, Fremont and Greenlake area. Nice neighborhood with a mix of everything. A walkable neighborhood full of green spaces, it has a vibrant downtown with a movie theater, restaurants, pubs, and stores. There are tones to do along 45th street. The Guild Theater build in 1919( update closed now) which is old-style announcing the actors' names surrounded by lights. while you are there try out famous "dome" pizza at Wallingford pizza house. There are many cute shops like sock monster, wide world books and maps, and a mall within the red wooden building, full of artisan shops such as a yarn shop, vintage clothing, and trophy cupcakes. There are quite a few other eating places like ever-busy dicks burgers, fainting goat gelato, tilth restaurants, chile pepper Mexican restaurant. I like vegetarian dishes so my favorite is Jhanjay Thai. Want to eat seafood with nice views? head to IVAR's Salmon house with great views of lake union and downtown.
  • This Airbnb is extremely affordable for a great location! The spot is really cute and the host is extremely communicative. Will be booking here again most likely!

  • Hiren’s place was great! Hiren was very welcoming with a lot of amenities that were provided. Check in was easy! Second bed in attic was cool, ceilings were pretty low but as expected since it’s a converted space. View of the lake was just as described -amazing! My family and I (4 people) would definitely stay here again!

  • Really beautiful home! Everything you might need is provided. Nice views, great location. Easy check-in. Heads up, driveway is a little steep. Pulling in, the car bottom scraped every time. Wasn't really a problem though, just be careful if you don't have a SUV type vehicle. Street parking was generally available if you do want to avoid the driveway. Great Airbnb, very hospitable hosts! Definitely reccomend!

  • This home was in a great location close to local shops and a majority of Seattle’s famous landmarks. The hosts provided lots of extras at the home to make your stay comfortable and were easily accessible by phone/email.

  • Marlee is an incredible host. I felt right at home. I have a deep respect for her love of music and that view from her West Seattle home is breathtaking any time of day. My cousin and I stayed in the upstairs room. Two beds and plenty of space. Also, that space heater! I most definitely recommend anyone stay with Marlee next time their in Seattle. This was my first trip to Seattle, and not my last.

  • Marlee was very flexible with check in time, which helped because we were traveling from Vancouver and did not know how long it would take to cross the border. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable king size foam mattress. We didn't need to use the 2nd bed in the room because there was only two of us. The bathroom was conveniently located right next to our bedroom. The views were great as shown in the pictures she posted. She is incredibly kind and accommodating. FYI - The Uber ride to Pike Place was only $16!!

    Jessica2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Marlee's place is great, she is a wonderful host. The view from the deck is amazing. She makes you feel right at home. Room was spacious. You're not too far from the city . • I would say this place is nice looking online but once you get there it's basically a garage/basement thats attached to the home. You can hear the people in the home above you crystal clear who can also hear the street noise, just as well. The place didnt have any hand towels, napkins or normal sleeping pillows (they were couch throw pillows) food was left in the fridge from prior people and that wasnt cleaned out before we got there. It was good just to come and sleep but other then that, not really worth your buck.

    Nicole2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was my first time using Airbnb and visiting Seattle. Liz was such a wonderful host. She was very communicative and had quick response time. She provided great accommodations with my request. The space is roomy and beautiful, definitely a great value. The kitchen and living room are gorgeous. Check-in/out was super easy. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the shower. It was definitely a small fit for me, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

  • The photos and description of this offering don't do it justice. The room, hosts and location are wonderful. The room has high quality, comfortable bedding and a very luxurious bed. The hosts were fantastic - very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect - right on the water with a view of downtown Seattle from the beach. My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved the hammock and the beach. Very close to the ferry and downtown Bainbridge. Can't say enough about it - would definitely stay there again.

  • Well, I hate to even give a review because I fear it will get so popular that we won't be able to come back. Don and Gife treat you like family! Their place is impeccable and the views are to die for! Even though you have the basement to yourselves, they generously give you run of most of the house, beautiful kitchen and even a grand piano! Wow! We felt like we hit the Airbnb jackpot!

Market Street, 15th Avenue NW and 24th Avenue NW are home to a handful of Scandinavian bakeries, gift shops and traditional food markets.
  • We were in Seattle for a week to celebrate our daughter's wedding. Seven of us stayed comfortably in the home , six in comfy beds and one comfortably on the sofa due to an airbed issue. The neighborhood is quiet yet only 2 blocks from a main bus line into downtown. Blair supplied us with the things we needed in a quick & friendly fashion. Free laundry was a bonus ! Very nice duplex home stay !

    Kathleen2014-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful and the space was even bigger than the photos made it look. Blair had a sheet of paper with the house rules clearly written on it, along with WiFi password and location of other amenities. Very comfortable seating and bedding as well. Worth every penny!

    Kurt2015-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • House was clean and exactly as described. I didn't meet the owner, but it was super easy to let myself in and lock up. Thank you!

  • Apartment was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely use it on our next trip.

  • Blair was such a great host, super easy to deal with. The house got everything I need and the location is good too. When I checked out,I forgot my laptop in the house,Blair was so patient to help me find it,I really appreciated (Website hidden by Airbnb) last thing, even with all the stuff done,I have not met Blair,so if you want privacy, this is the place to go.

    Raymond2015-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Blair was responsive and helpful. My large family traveled from all over the US and arrived at different times, most by cab. Since we could not check in early, Blair allowed us to secure our luggage at the home until we could check in. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns. We rented both sides of this duplex for 12 adults and we each felt comfortable and had plenty of room to relax and have our own space. The beds were comfortable and clean, as was the whole unit. (I am quite obsessive about cleanliness, so this is an amazing fact!) The kitchen was well appointed and the linen was also clean and ample. The whole experience was really great. We were all very impressed.

    Laura2015-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the house and location! Blair was a great host. Will return and would recommend!

    Timothy2016-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Blair was an awesome host. He provided us with all pertinent information about the listing and everything we needed to know about check-in/check-out. The home was very nice, equipped and furnished just like the description said. I would highly recommend to anyone who is staying in the seattle area and is looking for a spacious home in a quiet location within public transportation range of downtown seattle.

We Have Lots of outdoor space, plenty of animals to pet, hammocks, close to the ferry that goes to Seattle. We love to explore and be outdoors, we are very familiar with the local area, and lots of spots off the beaten path. Ryan is also available for scheduled private tours of all of what Washington has to offer including wineries, olympic mountains, Mt.Ranier, Seattle downtown, marijuana dispensaries, and many more customizable tours.
We love our home and we hope you will to. we are close to Seattle and the olympic mountains, nestled right next to beautiful Puget sound, and the majestic Olympic mountain range. Our home is open and roomy with lots of outdoor space to hang out and read a book or nap in the hammocks.
We love our neighborhood there is a park nearby with beach access, there is an awesome place to have breakfast or lunch called Hi lo Cafe, the best part??.. It's within walking distance!! Also within walking distance is a small quickmart, safeway, recreational Marijuana store, 7-11 , music venue, bakery, also we are in the local transportation line with a bus stop about 50ft from our front door. Also the seattle ferry is about a $9 uber ride away.
  • I had a wonderful stay with Ryan and Leah. They are incredibly friendly and hospitable and their pets are so cute. I really enjoyed hanging out in the hammock and talking with the many other guests that came through during my three week stay. Do be aware that this bed is in a living room so it's not super private. That being said, you pretty much get exclusive use of the couch and table in the room and there's a seperate den/living room so other people didn't spend too much time in my room.

    Lily2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Leah is super awesome and so is her place. Everything is great. Thanks for an amazing experience!

  • Friendly owners.

    Arturo2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Leah and Ryan are incredibly welcoming and friendly individuals. They were accommodating and always quick with responding if a question or concern arose. I am a travel RN and stayed with them for 13 weeks. I would highly recommend them to other travel nurses or individuals seeking to stay longer than a weekend.

    Melissa2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Leah was great with her quick communication on such a short notice and a one night stay! Leah and Ryan were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were flexible with my arrival time and even invited me to join them for a drink and a bite at a new restaurant they were going to try out, just after meeting me! I got to hang out with them afterward at the house as well and never felt I was just another guest. I didn't see much of Bremerton other than what Ryan shared on the drive. I very much enjoyed the ferry there and back from Seattle and would've liked to stay and see the town more.

  • I arrived on Halloween ... a dark, spooky, wet night. Luckily, The propietors, with their adorable pooches and other animals, were very welcoming and were able to put me at ease. This was my first Airbnb experience. Really didn't know what to expect, but I really like the idea of people opening up their homes and using their resources with others. And I got just that. Staying here, in a way, was like A backpacker's paradise for me which I totally enjoy. One needs to know I m getting closer to being a real senior and still like to live like a 35 year old.

    Karen2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Leah and her husband are super nice. Their home is lovely. Unfortunately, I received a phone call that abruptly changed my travel plans. I can only wish I'd had the opportunity to stay longer and get to know Leah and her husband better.

  • Jan's Olympic Sunset Retreat in Silverdale, WA is an amazing place to stay! I spent four nights there with my 21 year old nephew who was visiting from the UK. We used it as a base to explore the Seattle area. It was an excellent experience in every way. We couldn't believe how beautiful the wooded setting was for this AIRBNB in the lower level of Jan's house with views of the majestic Olympic Mountains from the backyard where we sat in the hot tub to unwind from a long day of travel. Our best discovery was how comfortable the beds were in both bedrooms. My nephew said his bed in the back bedroom was the best he had ever slept in in his life. My bed in the front bedroom was extremely comfortable too. Jan was a great host and even gave us a ride one morning to the Washington State Ferry dock in Bremerton before she went to work. I highly recommend this Olympic Sunset Retreat to all my fellow AIRBNB travelers.
