“Flora Gallery and Coffee Shop is one of my favorite stops before car touring the Marigny/Bywater murals. The space hosts local works of art and is excellent people watching. It's across the street from Mimi's should your party have a split decision of drinks or no drinks.”

“Gorgeous burritos. Certified Bywater denizens. Awesome shop cat (usually napping). Pretty groovy! Flora's is relatively inexpensive and packed with character. In addition to their coffee menu, they also have a full offering of Middle Eastern food. Bring your own coffee mug for a small discount. And if you're into backgammon, challenge the owner, Ali, to a game! He will probably win but it will be an unforgettable experience. They stay open late and are 100% unpretentious. Don't expect a sparkling clean shop. That ain't what Flora's is about. CASH ONLY”
