  • Staying in the treehouse was amazing! The location is very special an a must for nature lovers. Ga is the best host we have ever met. There where so many things she did for us that I don’t know what to start with. From greeting us with a self made special Thai snack to bringing us to the night market to tell us all about the food there and a lot more things, she did everything to make our stay perfect. Highly recommended!

  • The tree house is wonderful. Felt like in a children's paradise. It is not close to the train station. We rented a scooter for 200 Baht a day which was cheaper than a one way trip via tuk-tuk (they were asking for 300) and allowed us to explore more. Ga is an amazing host. She is a very nice person and provided us with amazing breakfast. We used the canoe to go see the Elephant bathing. Although the elephants are chained all days and it was a sad sight the ride on the river was very pleasant. Between 5pm and 7pm the place is full of mosquitoes. Bring repellant or go out for the food market like we did. It was a very pleasant experience.

  • We spent two days in the treehouse and we loved it. It's a place full of harmony and kindness. Ga is a wonderful and so lovely person. She helped with everything and especially thanks to Ga we spent a great time in Ayuttaya.

  • The treehouse and setting far exceeded our expectations. It's quiet, beautiful, and close to some great sightseeing. Ga is absolutely lovely. She made sure we had everything we needed, made us breakfast, gave us sightseeing tips, and even took us to the local night market!!!! I HIGHLY recommend anyone on holiday or just wanting a weekend away from BKK to visit Ga and her treehouse :)

Baan Koh, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand

This will be a completely unique experience for you staying in a little tree house amongst the nature and little cute animals. This tree house is literally built on a solid tree using wooden material, it is suitable for people who love to explore and adventurous. The staircase leading up to it is a little windy steps and the space itself is a little small since it is on a tree, but the experience is unlike anywhere else you will ever experience.
The bathroom is private downstairs of your treehouse bedroom.
Our neighbourhood is a quite residential area within Bangkok city, most houses here have long history and are not condominium like the other parts of the city. Many old famous families live in this area. It is very safe, and there are small traditional markets nearby.

  • It's a nice trip in Bkk Tree House.Thank u Mark!

  • How do I even begin? This is a pretty magical place. For once, the photos actually undersell the place or don't do it justice! There are mirrors everywhere, reflecting the natural scenery back at you. Even in the dining area (which consists of both a patio and an AC area), the tables are mirrors and reflect the trees that surround you. Everything is incredibly modern, minimalist, and clean. They've really set up the space to feel as private or social as you'd like. There's free ice cream (more like a sorbet) and water in a communal kitchen area, and bikes you can use. At night, the firefly tour is pretty meaningful--take a ride in a boat up the river to find clouds of fireflies pulsating in the trees. In terms of getting there, I took an Uber to the pier and then the public ferry. It was fairly convenient and it was a short walk from there to the treehouse. (The staff gave me a motorbike ride on the way out, the staff is so nice)! Really just a dreamy place, wish I could've stayed longer!

  • Prior to arrival, Mark had been nothing but helpful and attentive to all my inquiries and concerns. We booked 3 units with Mark this time to celebrate mom's birthday. And I have to say the hospitality and location were on point! Golf greeted us with a pretty bouquet of flowers (special for the birthday girl) at the Bangna pier and accompanied us across the river to the place for checkin. Upon arrival, we immediately felt like a different world than the busy city life in Bangkok downtown. And this was exactly what we were looking for. :) Mark was so kind to book us the rooftop table for us to celebrate the dinner. :) The rooms were as pictured only bigger :) clean and neat, that goes without a question. We opted to stay in the hotel instead of the complimentary trip to see fireflies because it is just to relaxing. But from the sunbed on the rooftop in each unit can also see some fireflies in the trees if you're lucky :). Overall, a spectacular experience and definitely recommend!!

    Christine2015-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was wonderful, except for the fact that the WiFi is only accessible in the lobby and not in the rooms.

    Hallie2018-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We did not personally meet Mark, but the staff was very friendly. However, we had great email communication leading up to our stay to ensure our arrival was smooth. We opted to have an airport transfer to the location and are extremely happy we did. If you're not familiar with the area, the place would be difficult to find. Once we knew how to get there, we traveled by ferry, taxi and the rail system all over Bangkok at ease. We really enjoyed using the bicycles to explore nearby sights early in the morning. We are happy we had a few days in Bangkok to enjoy this unique experience.

    Jamie2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely responsive and highly professional. And the place is an absolute beauty. A real oasis in the middle of a bustling city and a great place to get away. The speed boat transport to/from the pier to the actual Tree House is a nice touch. Overall, would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok.

    Nirjhor2015-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • I spent a day in Mark's hotel. I've never stayed this kind of unique hotel, and I was impressed with this exciting tree house! However, to get to the hotel, I was asked to ride a boat by paying 4 baht. Actually, I had to pay 30 baht per one person. There are no restaurants and bars around there, so people who want to have night life in Bangkok need to be aware of it.

    Yusuke2015-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is sensational!!! Super nice place full of surprised! Highly recommend if you want some unique experience in Bangkok! Traffic is actually much convenient than I thought, the house is very cozy and the staff is very helpful!!

  • The tree house is an amazing place to stay. Ga is an amazing, thoughtful and kind hearted host. With her help we did kayaking down the river to see the elephants bathing; cycled twice into ayutthaya and back again; as well as visiting the night market. Each morning she delighted us with her traditional Thai cooking for breakfast, explaining many different things relating to either the cooking or what was in it. Evenings were spent sitting by the river relaxing. Even though it is a little way out it is an easy bike ride into town. We would definitely recommend staying at Ga's place you will not be disappointed.

    Karen2018-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Ga’s treehouse is a great example of how some thought, creativity, and hard work can turn repurposed materials into a delightful living space. Combine that with her exceptional hospitality and love for organic gardening and you get the experience of a lifetime! Don’t forget to buy some bananas to feed the elephants

    Rob2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • it's such a nice little place hidden away from roads much traveled...the host's hospitality was great, the place was clean & pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay over the weekend very much. Looking forward to the next getaway there..

  • The Treehouse is an incredible, unforgettable place - we had a fantastic three nights here. It's lovely and peaceful if you feel like relaxing in the hammock, but there's loads to do too - we borrowed the bikes to cycle around town one day, and on another we kayaked all the way round the island (and back in time to see the elephants' evening wash!). Ga is the most wonderful host - she's so thoughtful and happy to share Thai culture - she took us to the night market, for example, and pointed out things to try; the breakfasts she provided were different every day and always fantastic. We were genuinely really sad to leave and hope to return in future. If you're looking for something a bit different, we would absolutely recommend it.

    Benedict2018-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Ga is a wonderful and beyond helpful host. She made staying in a remote part of Thailand very easy and comfortable. Her treehouse by the river was the perfect place for a group of 5. Each room is furnished with a fan and a comfortable place to sleep: one room with bunkbeds, another room with a queen sized bed, and we paid a little extra for her to setup an additional room with a rollout mattress. As well as a comfortable communal area for meals and 2 bathrooms. Each day Ga made a delicious breakfast including many of the fruits from her farm. She also helped coordinate tuk tuks and taxis for our travels which were very helpful in that remote area. She also brought us to the street market and arranged a delivery dinner. I'm not sure if these are things she can always offer guests but they were delightful surprises and wonderful experiences. I highly recommend the treehouse for anyone looking for adventure and originality.

    Ben2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great lovely place that I couldn't recommend enough. The atmosphere is so relaxing that make our family of three spent our whole three days and two nights there without visiting other nearby attractions at all. Ga and Ping made us feel warmly welcome and they are very helpful and accommodating to all our requests. If you book the tree house, I strongly recommend you take the kayak out to see elephant bath in the river. It truly is unique and awesome experience. Two nights there is clearly not enough for us and we definitely will come back. Highly recommended for those seeking peaceful and relaxing moments by the river.

  • Lovely place to stay and Teresa is so nice and helpful! She had lots of great recommendations and was willing to take us in to the closest metro station.

    Amy Jo2019-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • This house was the best Airbnb my wife and I have stayed at, and Teresa was a wonderful host. She went out of her way (literally) to help us get around the city. CONS regarding Teresa’s place (she’s careful to make sure that you know about these before you confirm): 1. Out of the way. It’s in a development a 60-80 Baht taxi ride from the BTS station. The cost can add up. 2. The (beautiful) bathroom is below the main room of the house, and you need to walk outside to get to it. 3. The shower has no hot water (but if you’re in Thailand you should really learn to enjoy cold showers). :) Otherwise, all PRO’s: Beautiful teakwood house Comfortable shaded sitting area below house Adjustable lighting AC Portable WiFi Delicious complementary fruit/juice/toast/coffee breakfast Comfortable mattress Quiet area Private Helpful staff Highly recommend it!

    Zach2018-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really peaceful place on Bangkok. The house is close to Teresa's, so she can come if you need. Good fruits and bread breakfast included. Teresa is really helpful and can give you some addresses. The place is near the sky train so in a good place. The house is very beautiful. Everything was good. Five star.

    Vincent2018-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Teresa's place was beyond Beautiful. Teresa goes above and beyond expectations and I rate our stay there a 10

  • If you're staying anywhere else in bangkok you're making a BIG MISTAKE--this is the ONLY place you want to stay. These guys are the epitome of hospitality and go WAY above and beyond the call. This was our honeymoon and we're used to traveling in central/south america where our mediocre spanglish is enough to at least navigate and get by.....we speak ZERO thai and landed at 11:15pm which turned out to be a MUCH bigger difficulty than we imagined and after a 20 hour flight we weren't in our best condition anyway. these guys not only called us but spoke thai to our cab driver to get us to where we needed to be. we had a bigger problem though in that the ferry (you can get to the treehouses shorter route by ferry or longer by a big loop in a taxi). the ferry we needed to take stopped running at midnight--we didn't get into a cab until 11:45.......THEY CALLED THE PIER, SPOKE TO A PRIVATE BOAT DRIVER AND HAD HIM WAIT FOR US AT THE PIER WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT TO ENSURE WE HAD THE ABILITY TO GET THERE WITHOUT (Website hidden by Airbnb) god these guys made our trip and certainly saved my butt with my new wife who was not terribly happy with having such a long flight and things looking so problematic till mark called! i couldn't be more thankful, grateful, or full of more praise.....oh yea! the treehouses! they are amazing, they remind me of if wholefoods opened a boutique hotel on the river bank. there is an amazing church less than 50 yards away, and the staff speaks great english. they have a great little restaurant too. can't say enough good things about them. thanks again!

  • The treehouse is an incredible location and experience. However, as amazing as it is, it is over shadowed and out done by the exceptional host, Ga. If giving a host 10 stars was an option; she would get them all! She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and make sure that we had everything we needed. She picked us up very late from the bus station, helped us find a laundromat and drove us to the night market for dinner. It was truly an amazing experience. We would recommend staying at her place if you are looking for a quiet, serene, and nature-filled Thailand experience.

  • By far our best Airbnb experience. The treehouse is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. Riding bikes to Ayutthaya and kayaking down the river was a really great experience. Ga treated us like family, she helped us with our travel arrangements, cooked us beautiful vegan breakfast (from her garden and handmade soy milk), took us to the local night market, introduced us to traditional Thai foods, shared many ideas with us, and more! Our stay with Ga was the best part of our Thailand experience, and she will always have a place in our heart! This home is so full of love and inspiration, we will be back as soon as possible!

  • Ga's place is lovely, a real treehouse (our room was actually built into three branches of a tree). Everything is very pleasing aesthetically; there is a sweet living room to hang out in, hammocks and chairs facing the lazy river, and beautifully cooked food for breakfast. The treehouse is made with a great deal of care and attention. I was there with my somewhat demanding 3 year old, whom Ga was extremely patient with. My daughter loved the treehouse and climbing up and down the ladders. It was a nice break from Bangkok, not too hard to get to by train and with a real country feel.

  • Definitely an unique experience! For nature lovers like us. Lots of greenery and the serenity is beyond words. Enjoy the river right at your doorstep. Kayaking is a must! Love Ga's cooking! Every moment of our stay is a surprise!! We became such great friends with the dogs,Shabu and Suki. Highlight of the stay will be to have elephants as your neighbors. Get up close and personal with a farm of elephants!! Watch them bath and feed them. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ga,Shabu and Suki.

  • We were stunned by the serenity and beauty of the treehouse and it's area. It's so much more beautiful than on the pictures. The house, the area, Ga and her family: it is all in harmony and touched us in the heart. Our stay of two days was too short, our kids did not want to leave her, the river, the swings and the kayaks. Although out of the centre, Ga provided us with bikes and showed us around. This place is soooo much more than a treehouse and/or organic farm. Our next visit to Thailand will for shure be a visit at Ga!

  • Our stay at Ga's tree house was perfect from beginning to finish. I'd say it's a once-in-a-life-time experience but that's not true. I live in Bangkok, only one hour away from Ayutthaya, and I'll definitely go back to the Tree house again. As soon as we arrived and saw the house, we decided right away that we'll stay in for dinner. Ga helped organizing Thai BBQ to be delivered to the house (once we mentioned we'd try to find any restaurant that'd do deliver) without us asking. That was a true hospitality. We were lucky to visit when during rainy season and the water level was high and right up the base floor of the house. We could jump right into the water from our terrace. That was epic. Do NOT miss the opportunity to kayak to see the elephant bathing nearby. That was absolutely wonderful experience. Ga cooked us yummy breakfast in the morning. We were a bit sad when it's time to leave. All my friends loved the place and thanked me repeatedly for bringing them there. Ga was a great host. I highly recommend this house if you're in town.

  • It was a wonderful stay for me and my 2 kids at Ga's place. The treehouse is very nice next to a river and the common area is well thought. Ga took us to many places (the night market, the elephant village etc) and also let us enough room for privacy. My kids loved her dogs, the cat, cropping bananas from her garden and swinging in the yard. We absolutely recommend a stay!

  • Our experience at the tree house was so relaxing and we were welcomed by Ga in such a nice way. We enjoyed the homemade drinks and food. The tree house is very well made and has good facilities so that anyone would feel comfortable here. I am so glad to have met Ga because she has such a beautiful soul.

  • Had a very enjoyable one night stay here. The place is very well designed, quirky and beautiful. The food was excellent and we felt very well cared for. It could get a little noisy with the boats at times, but this was overshadowed by the beauty of the place and it's uniqueness. I will definitely go here again. Thanks
