“Full of history - explore every corner. This is right at your feet as you step out your door. Take it all in. It's small, walk all the nooks and crannies. Acorn Street, Louisburg Square, Charles Street full of shops. Grab comfortable shoes and your camera. It's lovely.”

“Established in 1634, Boston Common is America’s oldest public park. But the 50-acre Common – along with the adjoined Boston Public Garden – gives the 21st century family plenty of fun to fill a full morning, afternoon or evening. Whether you enjoy a ride on the swan boats in the summer or ice skating on Frog Pond in the winter, there's something to enjoy for every season in the Common.”

“The Massachusetts State House was completed in 1798, and is widely acclaimed as one of the more magnificent public buildings in the country. The land for the State House was originally used as John Hancock’s cow pasture. Its most distinct feature, the golden dome, was once made of wood, but was later overlaid with copper by Paul Revere. It was covered with 23-karat gold leaf for the first time in 1874 and was painted grey during World War II to protect the city from bombing attacks. The State House dome was most recently gilded in 1997. FREE turs are available Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.”
