4 Bedroom 'Queenslander' has a front & back veranda overlooking the tropical garden. Located 5 mins walk to Rowes Bay which is connected by walkways (boardwalk) along the shore to Kissing Point, Rockpool and the Strand, 2 mins to shops & bus stop. A 2nd room - The Red Room for one person can also be available
it is a 4 bedroom house and I live here on my own. a couple would be very comfortable, but just as well for a single person. s(phone number hidden)close to everything, beach, Town Common (world famous bird watching wetlands), shops, castle hill (walking tracks) . it is very quiet and a great neighborhood.
i have been living in my house for over 28 years.. it is one of the old suburb in Townsville. grand Queenslanders with large established gardens.. my street is very quiet and safe. i have known most of my neighbors for a long time

Just 5 minutes’ drive down to the Rock pool on the Strand where you can have a lovely swim and picnic overlooking Magnetic Island or cycle, walk, jog along the Strand followed by a coffee or wine in the sun or choose from a range of cafes and restaurants along the water’s edge. Features a private tropical backyard with large deck with wall mounted plasma TV and BBQ alongside your very own tropical pool for cooling off on those hot summer days. There are three bedrooms upstairs – the main bedroom has a Queen bed, smart TV, its own deck, walk in robe and ensuite with a spa bath and shower. The second bedroom also has a Queen sized bed and the third bedroom has a Queen bed and its own deck overlooking the back deck and pool area. The forth bedroom is located downstairs and has a double bed and opens onto a deck with table and chairs perfect for that early morning coffee.     These rooms are comfortable, includes a nice deck out the back to enjoy the sun or breakfast.. Close to bus stops, shops etc.
    It's a cosy miners cottage. If you're looking for a place to sleep after a big day of touring maggie island or cooking at the strand then this is the place.
    Its nice and close to town including Palmer street.

The property comes with a ping pong and Fuse ball table. There is also 6 person spa everything you could want for a fun filled holiday. The property Is professionally cleaned after each guests. Friendly, respectful and quick to respond to any and all queries, will go above and beyond. Thanks Mick for settling the boys in and being on hand if they required! much appreciated. Located in a quiet street with large established garden and 2 verandas. A Queenslander. I am German and do speak it as well. I work with Queensland education and live in the house on my own. My hobbies are visual arts, gardening, travel and my grandson..
    The house is a Queenslander with 4 bedrooms and 1 front veranda and 1 back veranda. It has a large established tropical garden. 5 minute walk to Rowes Bay waterfront and a lovely board walk along the shore to the strand and the rock pool . Minute walk to bus stop, shops and a restaurant . To hire a car is at the end of my street, cheaper than the airport hire.
    I moved into this house 28 years ago. I love my neigborhood, the closeness of the beach, the walking tracks to castle hill from home and the quietness of the street. A renowned birdwatching area close by as is a superb golf field along the shore. Living in a oasis 5 mins by car from the CBD of Townsville.

Ruth is a charming and generous host, and her Queenslander house, just a few blocks walk from Townsville’s extensive shorefront linear park, was exactly what I was looking for: to experience the classic residential architecture of the region. I stayed four nights, wish I had stayed longer (due to the comfort and how much I liked Townsville), but Magnetic Island was drawing me on :-). My room at Ruth’s was comfortable, beautiful and private. Her front and rear verandas are sweet, especially in the back overlooking her jungle garden. She was a great source of local information. I had a fine time walking and bicycling along the coastline and downtown. I was welcomed to do a bit of cooking in her charming kitchen. You’re going to love staying with Ruth!

    Enjoy our beautiful renovated Queenslander, with tall ceilings, polished timber floors and a pretty garden. The guest bedroom has a double bed with a fan and aircon. Free wifi is available to guests. I will always have tea/coffee available and milk in the fridge for your convenience. The living room and kitchen is open plan. You can help yourself to any utensils in the kitchen to cook with or relax and watch TV in the living room.
    We own two rescue greyhounds, Bob and Inga so guests must love and respect animals if they want to stay. They are both placid and will not bother any guest staying with us. I am studying Veterinary Science full time and therefore in and out but I will gladly assist you anyway I can.
    Garbutt is an up and coming suburb with lots of beautiful old houses being renovated its close to the coastline and surrounded by some cool places, such as castle hill, Rowes bay and Pallarenda beach with its own conservation park at the cape.

The house itself is charming with lots of original features and beautiful hardwood floors. The bed is super comfy and the room had plenty of space and storage.     Self contained apartment close to Castle Hill walking tracks. 2 minutes to the Strand-Beach, city , Port, restaurants and shopping centres. Set in lush tropical gardens it is a quiet private sanctuary.
    Spacious self contained apartment has separate bedroom, (one queen bed) , bathroom , living area (couch not suitable for sleeping) kitchen and dining room. Access to pool, outdoor pavilion, spa (not heated) and lovely tropical gardens.
    Castle Hill suburb is on the side of the iconic Townsville hill. Not quite a mountain but a popular walking destination for views and exercise. Views over the city and port from street level. A beautiful quiet suburb close to all amenities.
  • Virginia's apartment is a stand out in so many ways from the comfortable bed with the quality pillows and bed linen to the well appointed kitchen to the thick, fluffy towels in the bathroom. Then there is the back yard, a beautiful oasis including a shaded pavilion, spa and awesome swimming pool - all surrounded by beautiful garden. We were in Paradise and hope to return again soon.

It is a ground floor unit In an older style apartment with comfortable furnishings and clean. Both bedrooms have air cons to have a good night sleep in the summer months but there is no air conditioning throughout the main living areas but there are fans. Tea and coffee is provided free of charge. NBN has been installed with Wi-Fi your visiting Townsville the only location you want to be is THE STRAND, the apartment is on the ground floor in a block of 4 and 2 of these are residential. It's an older style apartment with comfortable furnishings.
    The apartment is within walking distance to everything that Townsville has to offer The Rock pool, Water park, Restaurants, Bars, Casino and Ferry to Magnetic island. It's such a nice area to walk along the beachfront from the apartment.

  • We really enjoyed our four night stay here. The view is even better than the pictures! The studio apartment was perfectly adequate for the two of us & we felt very comfortable. The bed was lovely & we appreciated that there were 4 pillows to choose from. We used the balcony quite often during the day & evenings. The air con was much appreciated too, but we did not have to use it often. The small kitchen was well equipped for preparing small meals. The coffee pods & milk were a very welcome touch, as were the toiletries & beach towels. We also liked the large walk in shower. The location was ideal with plenty of restaurants close by & a Coles supermarket within easy walking distance. Wendy’s communication & after hour access instructions were very clear. Wendy was very kind & friendly. We hope to return to Townsville & stay here again in the near future & have no hesitation to recommend to others.

The studio unit is perfect for singles and couples here for work or Play all welcome , Very secure building, . There is a top of the range Queen bed dinning setting outdoor setting on the balcony, the unit has a large 3 seat new leather couch. Just fitted a large flat screen brand new 43 inch UHD SmartTV with foxtel/Netflix which has fox sports NRL AFL news movies on demand . The studio unit has a basic kitchenette consists of a kettle toaster microwave/convection and full size fridge freezer(not a useless bar fridge) a cafe grill sandwich press perfect for making toasties there is a coffee maker with real coffee and real milk, has a sink crockery and cutlery etc . There are electric BBQ'S across the road on the sea front. The unit is cleaned and made up for your arrival, All linen is supplied including pool towels, There are 2 lifts parking is free , there is a laundry located on level 1 with washers and dryers, there is a linen basket in the studio with laundry liquid for your use there is lots of little extras you wont find with others, Aquarius pool is on the strand front with plenty of sun recliners , Next door to Aquarius is the watermark bar and grill and takeaway, great place for meals and drinks overlooking the strand. there are many takeaway cafes restaurants bars and fast food places all a few minutes walk and also a Coles shopping is a easy 5 minutes walk away. What we offer here is not five star just clean / comfortable/ well furnished affordable in the best location and views in Townsville. The unit is cleaned and made up for your arrival, Should you need a early check in or late check out let us know , we will do our best if possible.
    Beachfront strand in the best location in Townsville , fabulous views from one of the highest points the tallest building along the strand and 1312 is top floor , walk to the rock pool, cafes bars restaurants, public transport is right out front. makes this a perfect place to stay for singles and couples.

  • Carolyn and Bill's place has a wonderful view, you cannot fault the outlook. A small balcony with table and chairs provided to enjoy that glass of wine or your early morning coffee/breakfast looking at the glorious view. We stayed at the apartment 1312 over the New Years celebrations and is was the best location to be able to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks. You could not beat this for location. Room 1312 is located on the top floor of "The Acquarius Apartments", located at the very end of Level 13, the building is older style and the room is basic, it is a studio apartment as advised. And is not 5 star as mentioned. The location on the Strand is great with many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. With the Rock pool and netted beach swim area with is patrolled beach is walking distance of the apartment. Check in was very easy with instructions provided from the host. There is limited cooking facilities in the apartment but most of the utensils / cooking implements that you would require on a short holiday. Some condiments are provided sauces, milk, water, S&P, milo, foil, glad wrap etc. A good size fridge is provided as well. The king bed is very comfortable and wi-fi worked very well in the room. Good size TV with foxtel. Air conditioning was much appreciated in the apartment. No washing machine or dryer is in the room but there are laundry facilities located on Level 1 of the apartment building to use with a fee, I did not use these appliances so I cannot comment on these facilities. The bathroom is older style with a handy bath/shower if required, and toiled located in the bathroom, we did have some issues on arrival but these were attended to with a quick call to the hosts and rectified. The apartment is very quiet and you do not hear any noise from the adjoining apartment. The building has a lovely pool area that is kept very clean with loungers provided and a new deck to sit on enjoy. Parking at the apartments is a first come first served basis, so not enough car spaces available for everyone when the apartments are all full, street parking is available to use. In the foyer of the building there are many brochures on activities to do in the area and also provided is a drink machine and chip/lolly machine for your convenience. The gardens around the building are maintained and are lovely to enjoy sitting in and relaxing. A nice place to visit.
