“Conley's in another local secret, located at the intersection of three towns - Watertown, Cambridge and Belmont. Ideal for a quiet afternoon drink, when there are no televised sports, or for a night with beer and pizza watching sports on the many TV screens. We like both lifestyles, so Conleys is for us! Conleys 1/2 pound Conley Burger for $8.25 is a bargain!”

“So old school! Workerbees and retirees have their regular weekday tables, and families come early on weekends for breakfast and their favorite donuts. I love the family who has owned and run the place for as long as anyone can remember. ”

“For eat in or take out Italian, we have been going to and ordering from Fiorella's for 30 years. Our friend Marcel is the founder, now its run by his sons. Try their Greek Salad (my favorite), and any pizza. I also like their toasted cheese ravioli. It's hard to find on their menu, so ask for it.”

Indie Movie Theatre
“OK, don't want to travel to downtown Boston or to the burbs to see a movie. Then visit Belmont Studio Cinema, one of the few surviving neighborhood movie theatres. Just 2 miles up the road from our location. It's a small theater, but shows all the main release movies, check their website for the current offer.”

“For upscale high quality lunch, soup and sandwiches all made on the premises at a good price, with great coffee and tea selection, Vicki Lee's is the place. Whether you just want a cup of coffee with one of her cake slices, or a bowl of split pea and ham soup, or a full sandwich, this is the place. Order a cake too. Now, here's something special. Every April, Vicki Lee bakes Australian style Anzac Day cookies. As an Australian it's wonderful to get these locally! But you have to go there to find out what they are and what they taste like!”
