Ydilische Bed en Breakfast Walden (walden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National landscape Northern Frisian forests. Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of kilometres of alder, dykswâlen (wooden ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. Biodiversity is high here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The area is very suitable for hiking, cycling, canoeing.

By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Parking (multiple cars) is possible on private property.

There is a separate bedroom, an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining, living area, as well as a private bathroom and cabinets as storage space. At the same time, you can walk just a few minutes to the various beaches.

Our small, cozy apartment for 2 people is about 2.5 km or 15 minutes by bike from the North Sea coast. Prices are per night/apartment plus tourist tax €3.50 in high season and €1.80 in low season per person./day incl. bed linen, a towel package as well as 2 rental bikes.
