Restaurant
“This is a restaurant and cinema all rolled into one, you can just enjoy the food experience or just use the cinema with it's great comfy arm chairs or better still do both, situated in nearby Borth (9 miles from Aberystwyth) you can go by car, taxi, bus or train to Borth. There's a great sandy beach at Borth and plenty of other attractions and things to do there, why not spend the afternoon on the beach then complete it with an evening at the restaurant cinema. See their website for current and future films showing.......you may need to book so worth a phone call before travelling at busy times and more popular films ;) ”

“After a swim and a walk along the shore, I highly recommend this place for an evening meal and a pint. Great sea food and veggie burgers and additional seating outside, practically on the beach.”

Platform
“For a sandy beach this one is perfect. Very long stretching out over a couple of miles. The sea is shallow and gets nice a warm on a hot day. There are plenty of crabs and fish to see. There is also an ancient forest on the beach (now just stumps but still interesting to note). Mind the jelly fish here though! *also to add... There is no place to eat in Borth other than a little ice-cream shop so take a packed lunch! ”

Museum
“Hidden gem situated on a working railway platform in the village - old ticket office, manager's office and waiting room have been transformed from a derelict shell into a true representation of how they were back in the glory days of the 1900s. Free admission.”
