Guests have access to fishing and a campfire by the lake. Fishing rods can be rented, and bait can be bought. Wood can be purchased on site. Hammock available above the house, where you can enjoy the tranquility with a fantastic view of Hornelen.

Enjoy lovely evenings in peace and quiet around the campfire or take a paddle ride with the kayak or SUP board with associated life jackets that belong to the cabin. 5 km from the cabin you will find Kalvåg city center with grocery store, restaurant and other activities.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. Exotic with an outhouse! Water in the stream, light and heat from paraffin stoves, paraffin lamps and candles. Cooking on gas burners. At Trollvassbu, the days can be slow and the thoughts long-term. After a short time, stress will melt away. The presence of the mountain and the cabin must be experienced – or lived.

On the border between Vestland and Møre og Romsdal, a great center point to access as much as you can see.

The cabin is the former farmhouse, and has its own unique style. It is equipped with everything you need, apart from the exceptional luxury. We live in the main house on the same property. Surrounded with magnificent nature, a quiet place, the sea less than 200 meters away. No mass tourism here! It’s a perfect place to stay if you plan one of the many hikes in Bremanger e.g. the Hornelen (Via Ferrata expected opening in 2023), Vedvika and many more as well as visiting beautiful beaches.
