It should be noted that some heavy rainfall can occur sporadically during hurricane season, from May through November, but storms are infrequent and usually pass quickly.

Pelican Rock and the Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Take a boat ride out to the rocky point of the cape. Here you can see the imposing Pelican Rock up close, and peer through the iconic limestone arch at the end of the main formation. You may also catch a glimpse of some sea lions in the distance, lounging on their nature preserve just across from the arch.

Medano and Chileno Beaches

One of the area's most beloved beaches, Chileno Beach is a 15-minute drive away from the city centre, and offers snorkelling and a more laid-back atmosphere than the popular Medano Beach, which is located in the city. While Medano can get a little busy during the summer months, it is a great place to go for a meal after a day of swimming, thanks to its long strip of restaurants.

Cabo San Lucas Marina

There is plenty to see from the marina’s boardwalk, as boats and people alike come and go. The area is home to a number of restaurants, shopping options, and local adventure guides.
